I love these three individually + I just couldn’t stop thinking how good they could be for each other = this happened

Simon looked down at Jace, who had flopped on his back on the divan, amused. “Tired?”

“Hurts.” Jace groaned and opened his arms for a hug. “Simooonnn.”

Simon stared at Jace in surprise for a while before reaching down and hugging the man. Jace didn’t usually want hugs. “Are you okay?” Simon got up and walked straight to the kitchenette. “You know what, I’ll just make you some coffee. Rapha, look! Jace asked for a hug.” 

Raphael looked up from his book, still lain comfortably on the bed. “Hm. Why didn’t you just activate your iratze rune?”

“No, I’m good. Just slightly sore.”

“Dramatic.”

Simon hummed a tune as he fixed up a glass of coffee and two glasses of B-pos. If Jace gets a subpar drink, he and Raphael have to deal too.

Jace lifted his head to have a stare-off with Raphael. Raphael turned back to his book.

Jace pouted and got up with a little difficulty. Raphael spared him a quick glance just to chuckle at the look of Jace steadying himself then padding like a penguin to the bed.

Raphael was only slightly surprised when the book was plucked from his hands and replaced by an oddly cuddly Jace.

“What! I want in!” Simon quickly placed the three glasses on the nightstand and sat on the bed beside Raphael to stroke and massage Jace’s back.

“Mm. That’s nice, Si.” Jace hummed appreciatively into Raphael’s blanketed chest.

“Let’s get you more comfortable.” Simon’s only warning before he lifted Jace casually. Raphael was quick to raise the blanket to allow them to properly manhandle Jace between them and under the covers.

“You guys are the best.” Jace sighed in content.

Hello! Not a prompt or a request, just an ask; what are your thoughts on Jasaphael (Jace/Simon/Raphael)? Personally, I love both Jimon and Saphael, so this OT3 draws me in.

SHIT i’M SO SORRY LOVE THAT I NEVER ANSWERED YOUR FIRST ASK ABOUT THIS. i swear i thought i did but apparently i did not. a n y w a y thank you for asking me about a Very Important Concept that i believe in 100% ( i also love jace/clary/simon but thats for another day)

because the thing is i think with the right balance and the right situation, they could be so good for each other. i mean, i don’t see it in the canon plot as the show’s going right now just because jace and raphael have never clicked and probably never will, but imagine like a new girl nick/jess/reagan situation where simon and jace used to date and broke up and then raphael comes along - maybe he becomes a regular at jace’s cafe, idk - and suddenly. jace talks to raphael once in a while and the dude’s nice - there’s something about him that jace can’t quite place, something intense and lovely - and then. raphael wants to ask out simon??? which is whatever because jace thought that maybe with raphael, he was ready to try dating again, but whatever. but raphael’s a little BAD at everything social so he needs jace’s help and then simon needs jace’s help navigating his relationship with raphael and since they’re “friends” jace helps him while gritting his teeth because he is Still In Love with Simon and oddly invested in Raphael’s happiness as well.

and eventually it gets to the point where jace is running full time interference in simon and raphael’s relationship, and it takes magnus and alec screaming at him ‘YOU AREN’T THEIR THIRD WHEEL, YOU’RE THEIR FUCKING STEERING WHEEL’ for him to understand and he leaves, stunned, going back to the loft where simon and raphael are sitting around doing nothing, waiting for jace to come back so they can all do something fun together and jace. he just. he can’t take it anymore, he’s too far gone for simon’s stupid smile and raphael’s stupid smile so he blurts out “yeah, i’m in love with you guys” and simon says “Hoo Boy” because he’s a dork who can’t say the right thing at the right time and raphael says ‘oh good we were trying to figure out how to ask you to a threesome and then trick you into feelings’ because HE’S a little insensitive and jace can’t stop laughing and they’re all finally h a p p y

but really i just have this idea in my head where raphael and simon are in an established, open, communicative relationship where raphael is ace (obvs) but simon is pan, and raphael agrees to let simon sleep with other people, so he starts sleeping with jace because if anyone can have sex with no strings, it’s jace, until he falls under the spell of simon’s adorableness and wants him outside of being in bed, and raphael and jace butt heads until everything comes to a happy ending with the three of them in a polyamorous relationship.

I just found your "a more complicated love" series and wanted to say thank you for writing it. I am trying to space out the fics but will probably end up binge reading them tomorrow. In the meantime, I was wondering if you had any jasaphael headcanons based off of or veering from the second season you would like to share.

ahhh im glad you like the series!!! as for season 2.... I'm not a big fan of how the writers have taken s2,,, like at all. but I do have some headcanons that go off from the end of s1 and like, setting up a Better s2

the situation with the Book of the White would’ve gone a lot... smoother, a negotiation for clary and simon to question Camille while she is still contained by Raphael and the clan. and if there is some magic used to persuade Camille to tell them where it is, well, it was a better alternative then freeing her.

it should be noted that at that point jasaphael would already be together

going into s2 with a jasaphael twist but still following the plot of jace going off with valentine 

both simon and Raphael would be absolutely worried sick and probably lowkey extra clingy to each other, already having lost one of their partners and not wanting to lose another.

Raphael and the clan would keep an extra ear out for any news about jace or valentine that travels through the downworld 

when jace escapes, raphael and simon bring him back to the Dumort and care for him until clary, izzy and alec clear his name and he is able to return to the institute

but most of the time he ends up sleeping at the Dumort when he is able to

the Dumort having become a safe place, the first place he ever really felt truly at home

simon and Raphael are his home

yeah that’s about all I got ummm sorry that I took so long to respond I'm not gonna lie I've just been playing sims 4 non stop. but uh, I hope you like the fics!! and if you ever wanna talk more about jasaphael!!! let m e know because I love to talk about them!!
