he doesn’t really have an excuse to be lingering in the kitchen, given that he was mostly just passing through the lower floors to head out and meet the dealer he’d found on a date app, an account made specifically for looking for a plug. but the sound of puttering around got his attention and he watches, a little fondly, as he saw jasper in the kitchen. “what are you making?” he asks, leaning in the doorway with a small, soft smile. they were friends and friends only now, but there was a lingering affection for him, especially when baking was something they used to do together.
