I'm not going to pretend that the hate Jax is getting isn't because she's transfem. It is. "She was misogynistic" yep she sure was. So were a lot of trans women before they accepted themselves. "She was racist" literally never was but okay. Just writing fanfiction to fit your narrative of a bad character. "She wants to kill people!!" Just say you're ableist and don't care to understand intrusive thoughts and move on.

Genuinely the hate Jax was getting was like. Mid at best until it was fully in your face that she was transfem. Yall are not slick.

I think my issue with Jax is less about how bad he is as a person and more on how boring he is as a character.

I've stanned worse (the guy on my pfp and header is literally a born-evil serial killer lol), and generally I can look over the atrocities the characters commit as long as I find them interesting. They're characters, they're fictional, and I don't always look for role models in fiction but they have to be entertaining. Jax is fun alright, but certainly not that much to justify all that spotlight. Nepotism final boss and still deliver a snoozefest.

I too also wish SOMEONE would hold Jax accountable. Even in the last scene with him (where he said he was a bad person and stuff), I wish Pomni told her something along the lines of "Yeah but, you could've talked to me. You could've become better." Rather than what she did say. I was sad when Jax abstracted yes but I'm glad he STAYED abstracted. Because she objectively was given every chance to reach out and change. And the cast would've forgiven her. Like they forgave Caine. This is another reason I really like the finale still, they did a good job with the message :)

Also I'm still a tiny bit salty we didn't get more time to see the cast cope with everything but we got 24 minutes (basically a full normal episode) of Jax. I wish we saw more of how Gangle felt especially.
