Nicky is his tired and not good and saw Shadow man.
After kitchen
Luanne: Good night, Nicky.
Jay: Night.
Nicky: Night, mom, dad.
Nicky up to stairs. Nicky quietly shuts his bedroom door, the hallway light casting shadows on his walls. He walks over to his bed and sits down, looking out the window… toward Mr. Peterson’s house, now dark and still.
Nicky shivers, wraps his arms around himself.
Nicky closes the door with annoyance, walking to the window, he looks at Mr. Peterson’s house for a few seconds, he closes the window before pulling the blinds shut.
Then he gets into bed. As he falls asleep, the shadow of Mr. Peterson’s house explains into his room, which turns an orange-reddish color, the second floor window shades open, and making them look like yellow eyes, then the front door opens, and the shadowy shape of teenage or child’s arm comes out and makes a grabbing movement towards Nicky.
Franklin: It’s not safe, THEY’RE COMING FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nicky suddenly wakes up horrified in his nightmares.
Nicky: It’s not safe? They’re coming for me? Who are they? Who’s voice there?
Jay and Luanne are on a business trip and the Petersons offer him to stay with them. Everything's fine, but during the night, Nicky has trouble sleeping and has to try to make it through the night without being detected.
Also, another thing, Mr. Peterson tends to get a bit quirky at night.

Nicky's family has never been very fortunate when it came to money and trying to provide a good life for their child.
Nicky didn't mind being so poor, but sometimes, there were moments where he wished he had a little more than what he had.
What got him through it all was playing games with his friends. Enzo, Maritza, Trinity, Lucy, Ivan, and Delroy. They were in the same situation as he was, but they were a bit more fortunate than he was. Still, hanging out with them made him happy.
Especially when Enzo took out his guitar and sang songs, he always loved it when he did that.
One day, Nicky was waiting for his friends to come to his house, playing with a couple of dandelions as he waited.
Then he noticed a little gust of wind pass by.
That's strange. He didn't expect it to be so windy today.
He got up to go back inside his house, but he stopped when he heard someone call out to him.
"Hello, Nicholas."
Nicky turned around to see Theodore, the god of the underworld.
What was he doing here?
He was about to run, but Theodore raised a hand to stop him.
"Don't run, Nicholas. I just want to talk to you.", he said.
Nicky decided to hear him out, but he felt like he was going to regret it. He was in the presence of a god, and he didn't know how else or what else to feel right now.
Well, considering that he was in the presence of the god of the underworld, the only way to feel was fear.
"It's nice to meet you, Theodore.", he said. "I wasn't expecting to see you today. What do you want to talk about?"
Theodore stepped closer to him and bent down to meet his level.
"My wife, Diane, is unable to conceive a child.", he said.
Nicky knew that gods weren't human, so they weren't able to have children. Still, he felt bad for them, because that made some of them really sad. So when he heard that Diane was sad, because she couldn't have children, it made him feel really sad.
"So she sent me up here to find a child to take care of.", said the god of death. "And I have come across you."
"Me?", asked Nicky.
"Yes, dear.", said Theodore.
Nicky immediately denied. "I can't.", he said. "I have friends, and a family. If I came with you, would that mean I'd have to leave my friends and my family?"
"Unfortunately.", said Theodore.
"Then I'm not going with you. I'm staying here.", said Nicky. "I know it may not look like much to you gods, but it's my home. I won't leave my home."
They looked at each other for a moment, and then Theodore sighed and stood up straight. "Very well then.", he said.
He walked away and disappeared, and Nicky went back to playing with the dandelions until he saw his friends coming up the hill.
Ever since that day, he's been thinking about Theodore's deal. The god of death and the goddess of vegetation wanted a child, but they were unable to conceive.
They wanted Nicky to be their child, and he refused.
Nicky told Theodore that he didn't want to leave his friends, but right now, it felt like he was going to regret not taking the deal.
Gods had a lot to offer humans, more beyond comprehension. If Nicky took the deal, he'd be blessed with a warm bed, delicious food, everything he ever dreamed of.
But Nicky kept telling himself that it was worth it. His friends were worth more than any deal.
But another day came, and Nicky was just walking in the field, and he was instructed by his mother to trim the grass. It was getting a little long.
Nicky so badly wished he had cut the grass sooner, because about an hour or so into it, he felt a stinging pain in his ankle.
He fell down, and that's when he heard a hissing sound moving away.
He'd been bitten by a snake.
Nicky called out for his mother, and she ran out and carried him back to the house and laid him down on the sheets.
"Mama! Papa! It hurts!", he wailed.
His father wrapped up the snake bite, but Nicky was still in so much pain. His ankle was starting to turn a bit pale, and now Nicky was beginning to lose all feeling in his ankle.
"It hurts! It hurts so much!"
"Shhh, baby. It's okay. Please don't cry.", his mother tried to calm him down, but it wasn't working.
Suddenly, it began to storm really hard outside, and Jay closed the curtains, but that only did so much to protect them from outside.
2 figures appeared outside the door, and Nicky saw that it was Theodore and Diane.
"Oh dear, you poor thing."
Diane went over to Nicky and gently touched his ankle. When she did, the snake bite suddenly disappeared, and Nicky's ankle didn't hurt or feel numb anymore.
"Thank you so much!", said Luanne. "You saved my child."
Diane nodded. "Yes, I did.", she said, sounding sad. Tears began to fall down her face. "I just wish I could have my own child."
Nicky looked at Diane as she cried, and she started to really feel bad for the poor goddess.
All she wanted was a child.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt to take the deal, just to make the immortal woman happy.
"I'll be your child."
Jay and Luanne looked at Nicky in shock.
"Nicky, what are you doing?", asked his mother.
"Mother, I just don't want Theodore or Diane to feel sad anymore.", said Nicky. "I want the gods to feel happy, and if that means being their child, then I suppose I can do this."
Luanne started to cry, and she wrapped her arms around her child, internally cursing the gods for ever considering taking someone else's child just to fill the void in their immortal hearts.
"I promise you 2 that I will take good care of him.", said Diane.
Theodore held Nicky's chin in between his fingers. "You will learn what it's like to have more than you had before, to not feel pain, to be protected from evil."
A portal opened behind the 2 gods.
"Shall we go now, Nicholas?"
Nicky hesitated for a moment, then he hugged his parents one last time, letting them cry into his shoulders.
Once they pulled away, Nicky looked back one last time before he followed Theodore and Diane into the portal to their home.
