My new SMAU— The intro

Hi guys it's Mininigning and since I've not been writing much lately, I decided to do a SMAU. In this post I'll introduce all the characters and plot. There are abt 8 characters in total: [Y/N] and [Ni-ki] —the main characters; [Soojin], [Eloise], [Gigi] and [Heather]—the group chat girlies/yn’s besties; [Jay], [Sunoo] and [Jungwon]—Rikis friends. The plot goes like this Y/N and Niki have been enemies since kindergarten. One random Tuesday, Niki texts the group chat abt how his parents are dying for him-at the age of 19- are desperate for him to find a gf....

𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄   .   my   ability   to   grasp   in   depth   established   lore   is   at   times   ,   subpar   .   that   means   for   fandoms   like   dragon   age   ,   i   can   only   ask   you   to   be   patient   with   me   as   i   re-introduce   myself   to   the   space   and   learn   more   about   the   intricate   world   .   in   the   meantime   ,   if   i   get   something   wrong   PLEASE   let   me   know   privately   !   i'd   MUCH   rather   have   a   deeper   grasp   on   the   setting   i'm   writing   in   than   anything   else   .

some sick form of a game he's come up with , began counting down from ten to allow the other time enough to hide . vast open woods in front of them , though he's cheating already due to hearing each step they make crunching through leaves and branches . takes out a cigarette to light it , giving more time because he knows in the end he'll catch them regardless to how far they manage to run . ' ready or not , ' voice bellows through the trees as he stubs out his cigarette . ' here i come . ' / closed starter for @heavencalled , based .

i don't think i've talked about in on the dash in forever since i barely wrote in jay's modern verse before, but: a reminder that they were outed against their will after his fwb relationship with another player from a different club was discovered (and photographs were taken/circulated of them kissing). it was really traumatic for jay, but he "owned it" by acknowledging he was bisexual (in a press conference with the other player; they confirmed that they had been together, but then he distanced himself from jay + began to be really aggressive towards jay on the field during games) but he was not open about being nonbinary, for fear that he wouldn't be able to play if he didn't solely identify as a man. he's very proud, outwardly, and does a lot of charity work and tries to be a "role model" to show that gay/bisexual men can be footballers, but he still has a lot of fear about being out, and anxiety in general about the media (that any relationships he has going forward being exposed before he + his partner are ready for it).
