I just imagined an alternate universe where rock lets jayfeather stay as jays wing longer and get with half moon and then when she has kits it’s the original dove lion and holly and jayfeather has to just kinda…deal with that, tfw your wife gives birth to your siblings and you have to pretend like that not a thing that happened

Jayfeather pre-Last Hope has dreams about Half Moon and mumbles her name in his sleep.

JayfeatherXHalfmoon was always kinda odd to me ngl. I feel it was confirmed Jayfeather and jay's wing were separate in starclan? And if that's the case Half moon would go to starclan and be with Jay's wing. She didn't know Jayfeather when they were together, he was just pretending to be the cat she liked. While i could see Jayfeather having a thing for her, i don't think i could see it reciprocated. That was always a weird plothole in the books to me
