Recently found you and have been devouring your TAZ fic (and reJEANcy is killing me)! Looking back at some of your older stuff, though, I wondered if you had planned out how the reveal in "That's a Candlenights to me" was gonna go? Because as much as Lup and Taako yearn, they would also 1000% kill someone who would 'cheat' on their sib, so I'm kind of dying to know how THAT all works out! :)

(For those of you who weren’t around for this one, “That’s a Candlenights to Me” is a funny Candlenights romp in the style of a Hallmark holiday movie that you can catch up on Here)

I haven’t planned it out completely; you’re completely right that the twins would destroy anyone who dared to “cheat” on their sibling. But it was going to be at a Big Fancy New Year’s Party that Taako, as a famous chef, was invited to attend. And wherever Taako goes, Lup goes, and every event organizer in New York knows this by now. So it ends up that each twin gets an invite and a plus one. So they bring their plus ones.

So obviously the two “couples” get separated during the party and end up with the person they’re actually in love with, and let’s be real, it’s probably Taakitz who fucks it up, and honestly probably Kravitz. This poor gay boy has had a glass of champagne and is hanging out with a Very Pretty Boy and idk the Tension is High and they probably just kiss or something and then there’s an explosive “WHAT THE FUCK YOU’RE MY SISTER’S BOYFRIEND” and Kravitz, who is in Too Deep is like ohnoohgodwaitnoI’mgay which only makes it WORSE, and there’s a Scene

At which point Lup arrives to see Taako screeching at this boy and she’s kind of like oh NO Taako it’s fine it was fake the whole time! And then of course Barry doesn’t seem terribly concerned that his “boyfriend” was with another guy at this party and oh yeah that’s fake too and they all have a good meltdown over how ridiculous their lives have been for the last month, but like... a good meltdown with a fair amount of laughter. 

And you know. They swap and go home with their desired partner for to Date and it’s nice.

Requested by @jbluphin. “I’ve never been on a boat before! This is going to be such an adventure!” Arthur refrained from mentioning that she had been smuggled out of her homeland on a boat. Lucky stood right by the railing as the boat chugged away from the shore and out into the Mediterranean, and Eames pointed out pretty bits of shoreline, and birds swooping overhead. Lucky frowned and said, “Okay, what happens next?” “Nothing,” Eames said. “This.” “This is boring,” Lucky said. “I thought there’d be adventure.” “Only if the boat sinks,” Eames said. Lucky brightened. Arthur said, “We’re not sinking the boat.”

Do you have any headcanons about Clark's introduction to Lois (either as himself or as Superman) and how he got his job at the Planet? Or is this planned for a future story? (I love your Clark, he is the best.)

He got a degree in journalism from Columbia, and also is just a really good investigative journalist (because he can see through walls) (and he has super hearing) (he’s a cheater). Lois skipped college and went straight to traveling the world and writing amazing shit. She’s got more experience and she’s the loose cannon real pissed about getting tied to this by-the-book backwoods nerd (she gets less pissed as time goes on) (but he is always pretty infuriating so there’s a baseline pissed level where Clark is concerned).

It definitely snows in Vorbarr Sultana! I picture it with a lot of cold and snow in the winter with more snow than rain in general. Warm but not overbearing summers. A slightly less intense Montreal, maybe?

Yes -- there is snow and ice. In Winterfair Gifts, the whole garden is covered in ice and snow and of course Miles wants be OUTSIDE in it.

I know that feeling. Listening to Captain Vorpatril’s Alliance audiobook was the *weirdest thing* VOR-pa-tril is how I always thought of it. And it kept coming vor-PAT-tril.

THAT’S THE ONE I’M LISTENING TO! and man oh man that vor-PAT-tril is going to be the end of me. I’m also getting really thrown by how he pronounced vorrutyer for some reason???? (and he’s using the english pronunciation of Ivan instead of the russian which is half the joke and he’s insisting on on pronouncing ‘kou’ as ‘coo’ and and and)
