Reverse isekai AU. A what-if the core Spaghetti trio was transported to the Nirnama world setting and had to adapt there until they found a way back. But in the meantime, through a chain of events, Spaghetti unwittingly adopts a then young Tuha post-tourney and raises the boy in the good ol' Spaghetti fashion, this time with Borscht and Oyster having a hand in child rearing. What could possibly go wrong? (A lot actually!)
Lots of traveling beyond the novel's established borders during the time period it's set, found family moments and Spaghetti still being the epitome of 'a father to his men but kind of emotionally constipated'. And we eventually get back from canon divergence to canon compliant events XD
Probably one of the wholesome things ever brainstormed in my life.
Addendum: for those of you who don't know, Tuha is *not* the protagonist nor the hero of the story. He's someone else and we're trying to give him at least one happy story because he deserves it.
