Something wasn’t right. She could feel the change instantly and the moment she looked out the window she could SEE it too. Coruscant didn’t look like this the last time she had been here. The shining pyramids on top of the Jedi temple were gone, she couldn’t see the fellowship plaza from here anymore. What was going on? How could entire parts of the planet’s architecture suddenly vanish like this? After shaking off the initial confusion she attempted to contact her aunt just to be met with nothing but static through her comm. Had something happened to Jaina? Was she alright? Had it not been for her training she might have started to panic at this point — instead she took a step back, forced herself to take slow, deep breaths and analyse the situation at hand. Clearly, something had CHANGED about where she was although she couldn’t pin down what exactly. Her priority would be trying to find her family, see if they had any explanation for this. Her best bet would be returning to the temple, attempt to track down master Skywalker.
She had barely reached the grand staircase leading into the temple, stairs she was pretty sure should not EXIST like this anymore ( hadn’t the Vong destroyed this part of the temple and then rebuild it differently? Or was she confusing her history now? ), before suddenly feeling a familiar presence. Instead of feeling relief however she suddenly felt dread rising in her. Father — ! The pure shock of feeling his presence again almost made her tremble. No, he is dead, he can’t be here. Upon further inspection she realised it wasn’t him. But it felt so much LIKE him ...
She looked around, trying to find the source of this sudden connection when her eyes fell upon a young man near the temple’s entrance. The strange feeling came from him. “ Excuse me, I think I’ve gotten lost would you be so kind to — ” She didn’t finish her sentence, heart stopping as the stranger turned around and she saw his FACE properly. She knew this man, this boy. She had seen holos of him on her grandmother’s desk, on the wall of their apartment. Standing in front of her was her uncle, Anakin, a man she had heard countless stories about, a man whose kindness she had always admired. But if he was here, ALIVE, young, what did that say about the mess she had gotten herself into? Could it be a trick? Had the Sith found her or was the force trying to tell her something?
