So my Jeep is still at the dealership currently waiting on an inspector. Dealership did a compression test and found cylinder #1 at 90 lbs and cylinder #3 at 140 lbs. #1 also had oil in it and a gunked up spark plug (that had just been replaced when I paid for a tune up at the beginning of August). So that happened. @troublemaker4x4 pulled the dashcam video from @kool_kid1999's jeep. I don't run wheel spacers, but I did go to Discount Tire before the trip to Moab and had my wheels re-balanced. Sheared off two studs. We were able to find 3 nuts on the trail behind me. The holes in the wheel were destroyed. The 3 lug nuts were enough to limp back into Moab. $170 repair job at the Moab 4x4 Outpost. Discount Tire replaced the wheel and reimbursed me for the repair bill. Just lucky it didn't happen at high speed! Lesson learned? Always check the torque yourself on wheel lug nuts after work is done on a wheel. Second lesson?
