Season 7 & Season 8
The goalie who has produced poorer results than you of late gets hurt, giving you a rare opportunity to play. You don't want it to happen this way, but you take any break you can get. You hop in the net, cold, and you stop a couple of pucks. Your team rallies around you. You start the next period as well, and you might just be able to end the losing streak. But then, your team decides that they'd rather put the other guy back in. Despite him not being particularly stellar earlier in the game, and now, he's coming in after getting stitched up. You don't get your break, and he ends up allowing two more to keep the losing streak alive. Not to fault Bernier for this loss, but if James Reimer isn't demanding to be traded as soon as possible as we speak, he's a stronger man than I'll ever be.
Jeff ("Jeffler") Veillete, on James Reimer (x)
Five Hole for Food has just started at Yonge Dundas Square! Both rinks are in use + Jeffler is already playing, although I don't think Steve Dangle is here. If you've got time, drop by and drop off a donation to support local food banks!

Some mornings Jeff felt like he couldn’t even get out of bed because of all the hiding he was doing. He felt like he was living a double life, one with Steve, and one with the rest of the world. But this morning, he knew anything was possible, maybe even coming out. Steve and Jeff had only come out to their friends, Adam and Chris, who were also gay. They were the only ones who got them. Jeff was tired of hiding. He just wanted his family and the world to accept him, for him. He knew they would, they loved him, but Steve was hesitant. He didn’t think that the world would be as accepting. Jeff didn’t care though, he was just sick of hiding. He got out of bed and started getting ready for the day.
When he was finished, he called Steve. He was going to lay it all out and tell him that he’s going to come out to his family.
“Hey, babe,” Steve said when he answered the phone after several rings.
“Hey….” Jeff started, but he lost his words.
“What is it?” Steve asked, he could tell something was bothering Jeff.
“Steve I want to come out,” He said finally. He felt a nervous sweat creep down his back. They’ve had this conversation before, and it always ended up in an argument. Steve thought that if Jeff were to come out, all eyes would look at him too, because they were together 24/7.
“Jeff, you can’t…”
“I’m doing it whether you like it or not, Steve. I can’t take this anymore, I want my family to know that I’m happy, and if you don’t like that, then maybe we shouldn’t be together.” Jeff snapped.
Steve took a long pause and then sighed, “Jeff, I love you. If this is what you want to do, then I’m behind you 100%. Just wait, I’ll come over. We can tell your family together, and then I guess we can tell mine too.”
Jeff smiled, “thank you, Steve, it means a lot. I love you.”
When Steve got to Jeff’s house, he was really nervous. He had put off telling everybody for so long, he didn’t know if he was ready. But Jeff wanted to, so he had to support his boyfriend.
He knocked on the door and Jeff greeted him with a warm smile and a kiss, but Steve pulled away, “not right now,” he said.
Jeff rolled his eyes, “fine.”
Steve took Jeff’s hand and led him to the bedroom, “before we do this, let’s have some fun.”
He pushed Jeff onto his bed, and slowly slid Jeff’s pant down, and then started on his own. He got everything off and then started slipping into Jeff. He was almost all the way in when Jeff’s bedroom door opened. Both Jeff and Steve looked up to see Jeff’s mother standing there.
Steve whispered a faint “fuck” into Jeff’s ear. Jeff looked at Steve and quietlu sighed, “Caught red handed.”
Jeff turned his attention to his mother, still standing in the doorway, utterly shocked.
He shrugged, “Mom, I guess this is a good time to tell you, I’m, uh, I’m gay, mom.”
"What the fuck was that, Steve?” demanded Jeff angrily once he and his boyfriend, Steve, got home from dinner.
"What do you mean?" asked Steve walking into his apartment, completely oblivious to Jeff’s anger.
Jeff and Steve had been at a restaurant celebrating their 6 month anniversary when the waitress started hitting on Steve, and Steve did absolutely nothing to stop it. Jeff gave him the silent treatment the entire way home.
Jeff took a deep sigh and followed Steve into his apartment. He walked to the couch and sat down. He hung his head down and put it in his hands. Steve stood there, confused. “Jeff, I’m not a mind reader…” He said.
Jeffler sighed again. “You know why I’m mad, Steve.”
”I really don’t,” Steve hesitated, he knew why, but he didn’t want Jeff to know that.
Jeff stood up and narrowed his eyes at Steve. “Oh,” he started, “So were you just being friendly, then?” He put emphasis on the word friendly.
Steve rolled his eyes. “Why are you so angry? The waitress was being nice, I was only returning the favour!” He explained.
Jeffler wasn’t buying it. “You always do this, Steve!” He shouted. “You act like I’m not there when there’s a girl around! It’s like you’re ashamed of this, of us, of ME!”
Steve could see the anger in Jeff’s eyes, but he couldn’t respond. “Jeff, I-” he started.
"Save it, Steve. I’m going home." Jeff snapped and stormed out of Steve’s apartment, slamming the door behind him.
Steve sighed and walked to his bedroom, alone. “I love you, Jeff.” he whispered. He turned off the light and jumped into bed after putting his pajamas on. He exhaled once more before going to bed for the night.
———-
When Jeff woke up the next morning he was still angry. He checked his phone to see if Steve had called or messaged him to apologize. He hadn’t. Jeff shook his head and got out of bed.
He walked into his living room en route to the kitchen to get breakfast before taking a shower. When he got into the kitchen his mom was talking with somebody. He realized it was Steve.
"Hey, Jeffie." Steve smiled at him. Jeff couldn’t believe that Steve was standing here, talking to his mom like nothing was wrong. He coldly sup nodded Steve. He got a bowl of cereal and trudged back into his room while Steve followed behind him.
"Are you seriously still pissed off?" asked Steve when they got to the bedroom.
Jeff with seething with anger. “How can you act like nothing is wrong? You don’t care about this relationship, do you?” he roared.
Steve went white. “Yes, I do, Jeff. I love you.” he whispered.
"Doesn’t feel like it.." Jeff complained.
Steve had an idea. He sat down on Jeff’s bed and pulled Jeff closer to him. “I have an idea, come here.” He pulled Jeff onto the bed. He rolled on top of him and started pull down Jeff’s pajama pants.
"Steve, stop…" Jeff started saying, but Steve interrupted him. "Jeff, shh. Let me show you how much I love you." He finished with Jeff’s pants and started on his own. He slipped them off and dropped them on the floor.
"This is how much I love you, Jeff.." He muttered into Jeff’s ear.
Jeff lost his mind with sensation as Steve placed his member into Jeff’s derriere.
