JENJI KOHEN MADE GILMORE GIRLS?!? WHY CAN SHE NOT GET OFF HER OWN FUCKING DICK
Literally every show she's ever done has been the exact same template. Self centred thirty-something woman fucks everything up for her family and friends time and time again but everyone loves her regardless. At least Lorelei is a decent human being. Nancy and Piper are fucking awful people and progressively get more and more unlikable throughout the series.
If you can't understand why I love this cast so much, watch a snippet of this, because they are fabulous in every second of it.
Orange is the New Black
Its a really cool show and i love the premise of it. Its not a dark scary male jail drama but a really funny womans prison one. I do not like the main character Piper Chapman and i hate her boyfriend Larry even more. Her friend Holly is very pretencious and kind of shallow but her husband is laid back. Her brother is also a cool character. But i mostly watch it for the other inmates. They gave them good stories and awesome personailities. My personal favorite story is Dya and John. He is incredibly sweet and caring and to love someone like her is amazing how much he does. I dont know whats shes in for yet but its most likely not that bad. Also its kind of a alarming how it hasnt been that long but they are already in love, at least she thinks so. Also its adorable that he only has one leg and it doesnt matter. It doesnt signify him.
I like the way it flashes back to how they get in prison in the first place. Its nice to see that they reason they are there isnt too bad or only for caring for someone else. LIke Claudette. She did but she had too because of the business she was in but for the girls she was caring for. It was inspiring even thought someone got killed. Or Tricias story. it was sad but she was honest. It was so sad to see her go though. I hope to finally see what happens with some of the other inmates stories like Lorna or whatever her name is with the "fiance" or Poossay (however you spell it) they are two of my favorites.
I hope this show gets another season its really awesome!
