started watching Criminal Minds so the natural course of action was for me to draw a non canon ship. its the law

Okay but I can just imagine someone like Luke or JJ getting into a really heated and angry argument with someone and so Matt just has to lift them up and take them away before they do something drastic.

Brooklyn Nine Nine style, I love it

“I mean seriously,” Sandwell, the white collar agent that likes to take coffee from the BAU’s pot says, “the guy’s a twig. And a total geek.” He waves his cup through the air, passionate. “I get that Agent Gideon helped him coast so he could get on your team, but the guy’s been gone for years now. I don’t get why you guys still keep him around.”

Matt can see the moment J.J snaps. From what he’s heard, this isn’t the first time Agent Sandwell has made these kinds of comments about Reid. He sees her eye twitch, and braces himself.

“You know what?” she says, voice full of anger. “Just because you couldn’t make the cut doesn’t mean you get to be mad at Reid for it. It’s not his fault that a man eight years younger than you makes a better profiler.” Matt winces, but she’s not done. “Reid made this team better from the moment he joined, and to be honest, I’m so glad I get to deal with him instead of you.” She takes a step towards him, and Matt swears he can see her whole body vibrating. “You’re pathetic, and a bully, and you wouldn’t have lasted six months in the BAU.” Her voice is rising. The few other people still in the office are starting to stare. “Reid is brilliant, he sees patterns the rest of us can’t, and I’m sorry that you’re so insecure in your masculinity that you can’t see past the fact that he’s skinny and reads more than you do - which I doubt is hard - “

She’s started to yell, and takes another step towards him. Matt thinks it’s time to intervene, and tries to get in between them, but J.J shoves his placating hand away. “He’s tough, he’s survived things that would make you run for the hills - “

Matt, seeing this isn’t going to deescalate without physical interference, gets behind her and, panicking slightly, wraps his arms around her waist to pull her away. She doesn’t even seem to notice, shoving a finger in Sandwell’s face. “You’re not cut out for this job, Sandwell, and if you think you can best Reid in anything I’d love to see you try - “

Matt lifts her off the ground and starts backing away, J.J continuing to shout and flail her arms as he does so. Sandwell looks furious, and maybe a hint scared, and says nothing to interrupt her tirade. When they get far enough away, he simply turns tail and runs for the door.

It takes a good thirty minutes to calm J.J down, and only after Matt promises her Sandwell will never step foot in the BAU offices again.

After a quiet chat with the agent the next morning, he feels confident that he’s made good on his promise.

Top 10 of my favorite tv shows

9. Criminal Minds

So at the ninth place we find a show that has been with me all my life. Seeing that I’m 20 and in these days the 14th season is coming out, we can say that I really grew up with this show.

Weird, you may say. How can a five years old girl find herself watching Criminal Minds? The answer is my mum. She has always been passionate about crime shows and books and so she passed this love to me.

Of course when I was five I couldn’t understand the cases or the storyline, but I vividly remember how I liked all the characters.

After 14 years some old characters have left, some new one have come, some went away and came back. However I’m still here, loving this team like a fictional family.

Crime shows are often very similar, but in Criminal Minds I found something different, for me it has that je ne sais quoi that makes it special.

In every episode there is a case that is always solved but, hey, those cases are amazing. I mean in how many shows you see the unsub transforming his victim into a puppet? Or making candles from women’s fat? After this things they had me totally sold.

Beautiful is also how the solve it. For once it isn’t focused on the science but psychology, and I love this. I mean, I’m a chemist so I love science, but it’s so cool to try and enter the mind of a serial killer.

And then next to the various cases, there is the storyline of the characters. Has I have already said I have a special connection with them that has been formed throughout the years. However I bet that if you binge watch it you inevitably end up feeling a same connection. There are some episodes that are so hard to watch but make you feel so much empathy. They are special to me.

Favorite character: Spencer Reid

I dare you: watch Criminal Minds and try not to fall in love with this little cute genius cupcake.

Spencer Reid is my first fictional crush and he will always be in my heart. He’s special, a pure soul. Life has been so hard on him but he keeps fighting no matter what. At first sight he seems so delicate, but he’s actually the strongest in there. I’m so proud of his growing up.

I’m proud of you, nerdy little boy who stole my heart and is never going to give it back to me.

TRUTH OR DARE

Can you trace back the address of the UnSub?” The question asked by Alvez gets a lot of different reactions: Garcia, from the other side of the phone, snorts loudly enough that everybody can hear her. JJ and Rossi barely hold back their laughter.

“What kind of question is that, Newbie?” comes the answer of the Tech for the BAU team. “When are you going to realize that I am the oracle of this unit?” The mentioned agent giggles openly, the usual amused smirk stamped on his face, as he likes being treated like that by Garcia.

“Can we get back to the case at hand?” Prentiss is really starting to not find their usual banter funny anymore.

“I already sent the information requested by Alvez to your tablets.” The top professionalism you can expect from Garcia.

                                                     ** She opens the door of her office with a sigh. The jet should land any moment now, so she can go back home and sleep like there is no tomorrow. She yawns again as she bends over the main computer to close the whole system. She is really tired. She will ditch him tonight. Not even the thought of his muscles or his warm hands trailing her body is enough to give her back some energy.

As she giggles at the silliness of her own thoughts her eyes catch a shadow behind her back. She watches too many spooky tv shows as CSI on top of her job. And still she doesn't turn around. She closes her eyes as to find the strength to react as a hand covers her heart. She can't even scream before another one is covering her mouth.

And then, that voice.

“I'm sorry, Chica, didn't want to scare you.” finally she turns around to see him. He looks real sorry, but she can't forgive him yet; her heart is still thundering in her chest.

“Shouldn't you all land in fifteen minutes?”she manages to ask. Her hands twitch from the need to slap the sweet smile out of his face. He then takes her hand and traces every finger with his own.

“We arrived a little earlier and I wanted to surprise you. You look so beautiful and natural when you think nobody's here.” Penelope looks up, annoyed by his ability to always string her chords just right.

“Well, shall we go home?” he nods. He gets close to the door and looks around suspiciously.

“All clear,” the man whispers as he goes out. She digits her usual code in the security system before joining him. When she turns back Luke is not around anymore. She sighs as she starts walking towards the elevator. “Still here, Garcia?” he teases her as soon as she reaches him.

“You have a problem with that, Newbie?” she taunts back to the benefit of a crowd that is not even there. A sound makes them wary of someone coming up with the elevator. In an excess of diligence they even set their look in the usual scowl every member of the BAU is used to see on their faces when they are forced to interact. Fortunately, because the doors open to reveal JJ.

“I forgot my car keys.” she shrugs. But she never looks away from them. The two of them say nothing in return. “Goodnight Luke, goodnight Garcia.” she trots in the direction of her desk, but there was something strange in her voice during the whole exchange that leaves Luke very suspicious.

“Goodnight!” they answer a little too late. As soon as they enter the car, he is annoyingly shaking his head.

“Luke?” she calls.

“Not here,” he answer almost in code. She just gives up. As soon as they are far from the FBI building he starts talking again. “Lately JJ is observing us too much...I'm sure she suspects something.” She tries not to laugh in his face.

“We are literally surrounded by profilers. How could you have thought we could hide our relationship?” to be real honest, his desire to keep them a secret is starting to bug her. And hurting her a little. “Are you ashamed of me? I am not enough for you?” her tone is sad now.

“No, Pen, we have already talked about this. You know that it's not that. But I would like to maintain my job and my private life separate for a little while longer. I don't want to take home with us the horrible things we have to see everyday.” It's a valid concern and Penelope believes him. “

Still, that doesn't change their current situation: JJ believes there's something between us since even before we started dating,” she confesses him this little detail he didn't know.

“What?!” He hits the brakes harshly.

“Well, she always picks on me about it on girls night” He parks the car in front of her apartment. “I can't really keep it a secret from her,” she admits. He then grabs her hand between his and looks at her with a serious expression.

“Penelope, promise me you won't tell anybody, not even Jennifer.” She looks back at him bewildered. “Try to resist at least some more time.” Cornered, she does exactly what she wasn't supposed to do again.

“I promise.” They seal the deal with a kiss.

She shouldn't have drunk that mai tai cocktail. And the next. And the next. But what you shouldn't have done always comes too late, when the milk had already been spilled. Maybe if she had stayed sober, she wouldn't have accepted that dare. Anyway it's pointless speculating about that now. It was Tara's fault. She insisted to end the night with a stupid game they all have done in their youth.

Truth or dare.

Emily had chosen truth and she has revealed that she had a crush on Hotch while he was still married to Hailey. She has pined for a while but now she was with Mark and was over it.

Doctor Lewis decided to tempt fate. She opted for a dare and she couldn't oppose to the difficult task her very tipsy co-workers have decided for her. That should have made Garcia suspicious, but she really didn't realize how things were developing at the moment. They dared Tara to say to a random guy at the bar that she found him attractive; with very explicit terms. That way she scored a date with a very good looking guy, between the hollering and the laughters of her friends. After all it didn't go so bad for her.

JJ, the only one married in the group, at first had chosen truth, but when she refused to admit if she ever had thought about Spencer as anything more than a friend, she had been dared to get a tattoo and, since the situation had become even worse than the beginning, she promptly confessed that before meeting Will she did think about the possibility for her and Spencer to be something more.

Then it was Penelope's turn. The sober part of her was afraid of what they would come up with, the other 90% was too gone and in the game to care. She chose truth. She should have known better. “

Do you like Alvez?” JJ didn't waste any time, going straight to the point. Since the other two were curious too, there were no objections. “So? Are you in love with him?”

“You can't say you are not attracted to him, he's so hot! With those muscles that shirts can barely contain...”Tara licked her lips mischievously.

“Right! And his voice is also hot...well, Stephen's better, but...sorry, Mark!” Emily laughed. She hadn't liked listening to what they had to say about her boyfriend.

“So, Garcia? You have to answer, do you like Luke or not?” JJ tried to put them back on track.

“I prefer...dare,” she mumbled. The mischievous look on her friends' faces blinded her like artificial lights in Las Vegas. She should have known better.

“Okay then, call him and say you love him.” Emily's tone was serious and has lost all playfulness.

“Even better, tell him you had a wet dream about him last night and...” don’t they mean even worse?

“Hold on, I have the perfect dare.” JJ’s smile scared her a little. “You can admit you like Luke or...you must kiss him.” The other two women nodded their approval to the change of the dare.

She tried to buy some time: “But when? He will be asleep by now...” that was a lie; she knew he was waiting for her to come back while watching some game.

“Are you kidding? It's not even that late! I will call him myself, you could warn him and ruin the dare.” and like that she watched as her last chance to save herself vanished.

He arrived. “Hello, ladies,” he avoided to look at her because his angry stare would had been revealing.

“Evening, Luke,” JJ kept leading the game. “Penelope has something to say to you.” At that point he couldn't avoid looking at her. The other girls pulled Penelope towards him.

“This isn't my idea,” she murmured a moment before she pressed her lips to his. His taste, his smell, the perfect fit their mouths have against each others, everything was familiar to her; everything about that kiss could have lead the profilers to the conclusion that this was not their first kiss.

So it was actually Luke's fault, because he couldn't resist to kiss her back. With passion, maybe too much passion.

* When you fall in love your stare weighs...*

At that point they definitely ended the game.

“BAU’s office of knowledge on the speaker, what can I do for you?” Her fingers are ready to start any research needed.

“I need a list of people entering that bar between 8 and 9.30 AM?” Asks the male voice at the other side. She is going to start her magic. “Ah, one more thing, Penelope.” She trembles as he addresses her like that on a work call. “I forgive you for breaking the promise.” Her shoulders relax.

“Technically, I didn't break anything. I said nothing about us, it was your reaction that confirmed their suspicions,” she answers jokingly.

“As you say,” he replies.

“I sent you the information you asked for,”she declares. Silence.

“Thank you.” More silence. “I have to go back to the others.” She nods but he can't see her. “Ah, Garcia,” he uses her surname on purpose. “I love you.” Laughter answers his confession.

“I love you too, Newbie.”
