How do all of the slashers sleep with their s/o’s? ( this can be headcanons or whatever I don’t mind 👍)
it depends on what you mean by sleep.... if you get any.
WARNINGS : foul language, staring (art ofc), mentions of isolation, Brahms having mommy issues, and slightly suggestive content.
CHARACTERS : Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Bubba Sawyer, Brahms, Art the clown, Doomhead (31), Pearl, Tiffany and Chucky (poly (human forms)), and Carrie White!
let's get this shit on the road 🗣️‼️
JASON VOORHEES:
- usually he's on duty making sure the camp is safe. no trespassers tonight.
- you'd have to convinced him to come to bed. he's reluctant but agrees fairly quickly. any excuse to hold you is a good excuse.
- BIG cuddler.
- doesn't mind being the little spoon despite the size difference!
- as soon and you've turned away from him after he was so comfortable in spooning position he'll turn you right back to tuck you in his side.
- hardly sleeps (he doesn't really need it) but he's content with laying with you.
- when the sun rises he's back on patrol but he leaves you with the blankets wrapped securely around you.
MICHAEL MYERS:
- sleeps like a fucking corpse...
- you don't know if this man is alive or dead with his steady shallow breathing.
- he's a light sleeper. one and subtle movements and now he's up.
- allows you to cuddle near him but he'll be stiff and a board.
- he's so awkward with cuddling. give him time. (a lot of time...)
- if you're a deep sleeper he'd secretly lay on your chest just to hear your heart beat.
- when you wake up you could have sworn he laid on top of you. it's not like he'll confirm or deny. he'll just stare at you then walk away.
BUBBA SAWYER:
- my sweet cutie patootie just wants to be held.
- he WILL be little spoon. argue with ya mama.
- he's never really experienced cuddling but if you offer he'll never turn it down.
- he's so happy you can practically feel it radiating off of him.
- don't let that big man fool you! HE IS A SWEETIE PIE.
- If you want to be held he'll most definitely indulge. for a while until he's back laying on your chest with his legs intertwined with yours.
BRAHMS HELLSHIRE:
- where yo mama at bruh 😭
- you cannot get this cling bot off of you no matter how hard you try.
- he will cling to you like Mr. Crabs to his favorite dollar.
- he's always under you in some way shape or form.
- if you're AFAB or have any sort of chest... he grabbing it.
- this stinky man is the type to never be big spoon. he will always be little spoon.
- if you refuse he will be petty and go back in the walls.
- bonus points if he's extra petty and does stuff to disturb your sleep.
ART THE CLOWN:
- who you foolin by telling me this man actually sleeps?
- he will stay up and watch you sleep. silently mocking how you slob on the pillow and snore.
- sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night to see this mf squatting over you burrowing holes into your face.
- he WILL scare you awake if he feels like you've been sleeping too long.
- on a calm night he might actually lay beside you. he won't cuddle you but at least he's not doing anything... which you should most definitely be concerned about btw.
DOOMHEAD:
- he may be a freaky lil perv but he's a great cuddler.
- you'll end up sprawled out together in the wildest positions imaginable. but it's comfortable.
- he's the type to think if you sleep half naked or come to bed in less than you usually do it means his getting some tonight. (NOT)
- has to has his hands on you in some way for him to be sane enough to sleep.
- will use your thighs, stomach, sides, ass, or breast (for the people who have them) as a stress ball.
- If he had a stressful night all he want to do is lay between your thighs to ground himself.
PEARL:
- bless this poor girl.
- she is clingy and for all good reasons. she just doesn't want you to leave her.
- after the first time you've cuddled up together she doesn't want to sleep any other way.
- she'll always seek out your warmth in her sleep even if you're at work or doing something.
- she wears your shirts. using your scent to lull herself to sleep.
- her body migrates to you when you return to bed. immediately snuggling into your side or shifting until she's laying on top of you.
TIFFANY & CHUCKY:
- these two are chaotic sleepers.
- Tiffany on one hand likes for you to lay on her chest while Charles likes to big spoon.
- before bed he's always making lewd innuendos while humping your ass. you and Tiffany did hit him. it may have stopped the humping but it doesn't detour him.
- both likes switch positions. it's never the same one every night.
- if their both up and want a little something something you're in for a rude (good) awakening.
CARRIE WHITE:
- another one of my babies who just wants to be held.
- it doesn't matter which way as long as you hold her.
- she's happy everytime physical contact is Intitated.
- when you aren't around she holds and rocks herself to sleep. she feels so lonely in her room without you there.
- when she wakes up she stays in her spot. just admiring your features from her position in your arms.
- she feels safe and loved in your embrace and she wouldn't have it any other way.
You knew JENNIFER CHECK wasn’t going to love your Halloween costume
You knew the risk your costume presented this Halloween—you just didn’t care. As you adjusted the barely-there white fur over your butt and moved a strand of hair from in front of the little round ears you were wearing, you took a final glance at yourself in the mirror by your bed. With barely enough fur to cover the illegal-to-expose parts of your body, and a dusting of baby pink across your cheeks, you were the cutest and most naked polar bear in the world.
Your admiration of yourself was interrupted by a loud knock at the door. A closed fist BANG BANG BANG, actually. Grabbing your sparkly red flip phone to toss in your bag, you realized you’d missed several calls from your girlfriend, something you’d definitely never hear the end of.
Jennifer’s leopard costume had a lot more clothes involved than yours did. She was more of a just-cleavage-out girl, which your eyes obviously found immediately when you opened the door to her.
“Can I get a sec before you start lezzing out?” Jen rolled her eyes, pushing past you into the entryway of your house. With a giggle, your eyes snapped away from her tits and to her face, which was perfect and visibly irritated with you.
She didn’t say anything for a sec as she reapplied her sticky lip gloss, drawing your eyes to the lilt of her lips and then the rest of her costume—a leopard catsuit with her favorite boots, a fresh manicure, and little cat ears perched on top of her blown-out hair.
“You look cute.” You offered with a grin, before she could crucify you for being half naked.
“Yeah—not like I’m working the corner, I hope.” She gave you a pointed look and laughed, though it was clearly at you and not with you, as she crossed her arms.
She was always like this when you dressed too skimpy. Jen never said anything if your skirt was too short, as long as you were wearing a long sleeve shirt; she never said anything if your shirt was too low-cut, as long as you were wearing jeans. It was all about balance, with her.
“It’s tight enough for that.” You pointed out. You could see the outline of her bra underneath it, and you swore you caught a glimpse of her g-string print in the back, though you hadn’t been lucky enough to get a longer look.
She just made a low noise in the back of her throat, kind of like a hmph, but more offended and less bratty. You were surprised she wasn’t giving you more trouble about this.
“Are you ready to go?”
She paused as she tucked her lip gloss back into her bag.
“You’re not really going out in that.”
Ah. There it was.
“It’s cute! Besides, if I get cold, we can take those Ghoul Gumdrop shooters from the bar—the ones you like so much. They’ll warm me up!”
Jennifer looked tempted by their mention, but it didn’t deter her, “Everybody’s gonna think you’re a slut…” She said it with a little grimace, like she was just letting you know for your own good, and not like she was going to be the one calling you that.
You pouted slightly, taking a couple steps towards her in the hallway. She didn’t move away, but her piercing blue eyes were unrelenting in their gaze.
“Come on, Jen. You know I’ll be with you the whole night. No one will even be looking at me, they’ll be too focused on youuuu.” You said it in a singsong voice, and saw her eyes narrow a little bit as she considered it.
While she thought, you leaned in to press a little kiss on her lips, and she let you. Her sticky pink lipgloss messed up your polar bear makeup almost instantly, but you didn’t mind as her lips softened against yours and you were met with her familiar smoky, cherry flavor—one you were practically addicted to by now. When you pulled away from her, she looked much more convinced.
“If that geek from your film class is looking at you again, I’ll totally go all Michael Myers on his ass,” she huffed.
“I know.” You said with a little smile.
After a pause, she gave you a kiss back, one that lasted a little bit longer than it should’ve from someone who was allegedly too embarrassed to be seen with you.
“Whatever.” She conceded begrudgingly, and you failed to conceal your grin as she stomped back over to the door, pulling it open to head out to her mom’s Sebring for the party. “Just get in the car before it hits midnight and that dumb costume turns back into a radish or whatever.”
You practically floated down the stairs behind her.

*JJ’s POV*
I had just poured a second cup of coffee when my phone buzzed in my blazer pocket. It was one of Y/N’s friends. I answered on instinct.
“Agent Jareau.”
The voice on the other end was frantic, feminine, teenage, and scared.
“Mrs. Jareau? I-I mean JJ? It’s Emma. I’m one of Y/N’s friends. We were at the party together, and we can’t… we can’t find her.”
My blood ran cold.
“She went to use the bathroom like twenty minutes ago, and we went to get drinks while we waited, and when we came back, no one was in the bathroom. We’ve looked everywhere. I tried calling her, but her phone’s off, or dead, or something-”
I gripped the phone tighter.
“Emma, listen to me. I need you to take a deep breath.
“I’m sorry!” The girl sobbed. “I don’t know what to do!”
“You did the right thing calling me.” I said quickly, voice steady even as my stomach churned. “Stay at the house. Stay with your friends. I’m on my way.”
I ended the call and turned to see Reid standing in the doorway of the frieding room.
His brow furrowed. “Everything okay?”
My voice was low and tight. “Y/N went to a party with her friends. She begged Will and me to let her go. We said yes… Trusted her, but her friend just called and said she’s missing.”
The room had gone silent. We were already working on a case of a serial abductor targeting teenage girls… girls who disappeared from parties. Girls who were found two days later in isolated wooded areas, strangled and posed like sleeping dolls.
Now Y/N fits the victim profile exactly.
“JJ,” Emily said carefully, “this could be unrelated.”
I looked at her, pale but composed. “She’s sixteen, blonde, and athletic build. She was at a party with weak supervision. Her phone is off. She’s been missing nearly thirty minutes.”
Morgan stood. “I’ll head to the party location. Maybe someone saw something.”
“I’m coming with you.” Rossi said.
Hotch nodded. “We split up. Garcia, get street cam footage from that street and the surrounding blocks. Any license plates leaving the area. Find any device that pinged near that location in the last hour.”
I was already halfway out the door.
“I’ll go home. See if maybe she came back somehow. Will’s there.”
Hotch grabbed my arm. “JJ, we’re going to find her.”
I nodded one, but my eyes said everything…
*Morgan’s POV*
The place was chaotic. Loud music, teens pouring out into the front yard, a few already dispersing once sirens showed up. I flashed my badge at a group of startled kids.
“FBI. Where’s Emma Johnson?”
A girl waved us inside. “She’s in the kitchen, she’s been crying.”
Emma sat at the counter, mascara streaked, Y/N’s phone in her shaking hands.
“I found it in the hallway…” She whispered. “Outside the bathroom… The screen’s cracked. Someone must have stepped on it.”
I took the phone gently and turned it over. No charge, but a faint smudge of blood on the screen.
I looked at Rossi. “We need to lock this place down.”
Rossi nodded grimly.
*JJ’s POV*
Will stood in the living room, half-dressed, eyes wide.
“She’s not here.” He said before I could ask. “I haven’t seen her since she left with her friends.”
I swallowed hard. My voice trembled.
“Will… I think she’s the unsub’s next victim…”
He sat down slowly, like his legs wouldn’t hold him anymore.
“God…”
I knelt in front of him.
“I need you to stay calm for the boys. I’m going to find her. We’re going to bring out baby home.”
Will nodded, his hands trembling. My phone buzzed, it was Garcia.
“Tell me you found something.”
Garcia’s fingers flew across the keyboard.
“I have a hit. One of the neighbors had a Ring camera facing the street. A dark van pulled up behind the house at 9:26 PM.. Left at 9:29.”
I rushed over to the office as fast as I could. Will promised to keep the boys in the dark about their sister, and I promised again I’d bring her home. As soon as I got back to the office, I went right for Garcia’s cave. I leaned over her shoulder.
“Can you get the plate?”
“Partial. Illinois plate. 4R2- something. But that’s enough to narrow it down. DMV shows five possible matches in the area. One of them? Registered to a Walter Piers, 46. Used to be a delivery driver. Fired two months ago for surveillance complaints.
Emily’s eyes narrowed. “He stalked girls on his routes.”
“And he’s not at his home address.” Garcia added.
Hotch turned. “Bring up his last known locations. Phones, anything.”
“Y/N doesn’t have two days…” I whispered.
*Y/N’s POV*
I drifted in and out. My body was heavy and sluggish. A metallic taste coated my tongue. I opened my eyes briefly and saw concrete walls, a single dim light, and a drain in the floor. I was shackled to a pipe by my ankle. My wrists were zip-tied. There was a table across the room with knives on it… and a camera. I tried to scream, but my throat only rasped. I passed out again.
*JJ’s POV*
“Walter Piers was a foster kid,” Spence said, pacing. “Bounced around the system. His records show multiple incidents of inappropriate behavior toward younger female foster siblings.”
“Targeting teen girls at parties is his way of controlling what he never had.” Rossi added.
“He waits for them to be alone. Vulnerable. He uses Ketamine or something similar to subdue them. They never remember how they got taken.”
“He doesn’t keep them long. Less than forty-eight hours. He’s trying to recreate something, but when it fails, he kills them.”
I stared at the photos of the previous victims. Each one could’ve been Y/N…
I stood. “Where is he?”
About two hours later and Garcia’s tracing of fuel charges and cell tower pings led to an abandoned roadside motel. Pierce had been squatting there for weeks. SWAT moved in fast. I was right behind them. We breached the door at 11:27 AM. The room was dark, empty. But in the bathroom, locked behind a thick steel door, we found her. Y/N was curled up in the corner, eyes barely open, wrist zip-tied and bloody. I pushed past the agents, heart in my throat.
“Y/N!”
My daughter blinked, dazed. “Mom…?”
I dropped to my knees. “I’ve got you, it’s okay. You’re safe, I’m here.”
Hotch stood in the doorway. “Suspect’s gone.”
Y/N slept for hours. IV in her arm, heat monitor beeping slow and steady. I never left her side. Will sat on the other side of the bed, holding our daughter’s hand. Spencer was watching the boys for us.
“She’s strong.” He whispered. “Like her Mother.”
My eyes were red. “I thought I was going to lose her…”
“You didn’t.”
There was a knock at the door. It was Garcia, with a bag of clothes and a stuffed unicorn.
“She always liked these.” She said with a sad smile.
I hugged her, hard.
We caught Walter Piers six hours later, at a bus station, trying to flee to West Virginia. He didn’t speak at first. Then he asked one question.
“Did she cry?”
I sat across from him.
“Yes. But not because of you. She cried when she saw her family. When she knew you didn’t break her.”
He sneered. “They all break.”
I leaned forward. “Not this one. Not my daughter.”
I left the room without another word.
*A week later*
Y/N sat on the porch with me, sipping juice through a straw while her brothers played in the front yard. She wore a hoodie two sizes too big and had new scars forming on her wrists. She hadn’t said much since the hospital. But today, she broke the silence.
“Thanks for finding me.”
I blinked away sudden tears. “Always.”
“I don’t think I’ll ever go to another party again.”
I smiled softly. “We can live with that.”
Y/N leaned her head on my shoulder.
“I thought I was gonna die alone…”
“You never were.” I whispered. “You never will be.”
Jennifer: Some people are like slinkies.
(Y/N): What...?
Jennifer: Not really good for much but they still can bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
(Y/N): .... Please... Please don't push Needy down the steps.
Jennifer, pushing Needy down the stairs: Too late.
i remember seeing you saying you wanted some le sserafim requests so here i am ig i hope you don’t already have too much of them. yunjin x reader where reader is added to the lineup and gets close to all the members except yunjin who acts cold towards her for no reason. but then she finds out it’s actually cuz their dance/ singing coaches keep comparing them saying yn is better… so she became jealous for no reason. <3
huh yunjin x reader; idol au
warnings: unfair treatment ig?; jealousy; replacement member
getting added to the group after the debut was a bit rough, but your members made it bearable. le sserafim debuted as 6-members girl group and (funny story) their second mini album had 6 performers too.
during the period between the debut and the first comeback, a member of the group that you never got to meet, garam, left because of some scandal. then, they added you!
while at first you thought the group would be distanced (because no matter how you look at it, you replaced the girl) they didn’t care. even better, the oldest two immediately started treating you as one of their own. the younger two also looked up to you as their unnie, especially manchae. even the public didn’t seem to mind your presence all that much.
but of course things couldn’t be too pretty for you.
“okay, let’s try from the top?” you all nodded to the choreographer, standing up from your break.
“chaewon unnie, could you pass me my water?” you asked your leader softly, hoping to get one last sip before continuing the practice. weirdly enough, she didn’t notice you speaking to her, as she was focused on yunjin.
the american walked back from the choreographer with a frown on her face, as often these days. her eyes suddenly met yours and her grimace deepened.
huh yunjin: the one member that didn’t like you.
you really had no idea know why, but every time you as much as stood within two meters to her, she’d glare at you.
“are you okay, unnie..?” her unreasonable hatred towards you would never stop you from trying to befriend her…
her shoulder bumped into yours as she walked. “i’m fine.”
…because you might or might have not liked her.
yunjin didn’t like you. that was easy to say. did she hate you though?
she stopped in her tracks to ponder over the thought.
she shouldn’t hate you. it wasn’t your fault the choreographer noticed a similarity in your dancing styles and kept pointing it out to yunjin.
it was well after practice finished as she was walking to the dorm (courtesy of staying back to perfect the dance). she knew chaewon was probably worried.
or was she? she’s been staying late in the studio ever since you joined the group.
yunjin was so lost in her thoughts she didn’t even realise she arrived at her dorm.
rummaging through her bag, she fished out her pair of keys.
*click*
the doors were unlocked. chaewon was probably waiting. will she be scolded again?
yunjin sighed. she always gets.
“you’re late again.”
yunjin ignored the comment from her leader, placing her bag next to the doors. she took of her shoes and put them in her place.
weird, your pair was missing.
“we were worried.”
“i know, unnie.” she fought the urge to roll her eyes.
“…y/n was worried too.”
“okay.”
chaewon walked up to the younger girl and placed her hand on her shoulder, turning her forcefully, but not too hard.
“i don’t know what is your problem, but you need to resolve it. it’s affecting the group, even the public noticed you two!”
“oka-“
“don’t okay me, damn it!” chaewon sighed, running her hand through her hair to stop the stray strands from tickling her face. “y/n went to look for you.”
“huh? why would she?”
“because i asked her to talk with you. because you’re too much of a child to do that yourself apparently.”
yunjin frowned at her leader. “what goes between me and y/n is not of your business, unnie.”
“find her before i make it my business.”
yunjin cursed herself for never bothering to ask for your number. it made finding you much harder. there was still one thing she could do…
now her phone rang, the line quiet. she should’ve expected that, idols don’t tend to pick up unknown numbers.
“hello? yunjin unnie?”
she was a bit taken aback. you had her number?
“y/n? you have my contact?”
“i got it from chaewon unnie… i got you a iced coffee, she said you stayed back after practice so i thought you might be thirsty, unnie.. where are you?”
her heart skipped a beat (she denied it in her head) as she heard your words.
“i’m..” yunjin cleared her throat. “i’m outside our dorm, where are you?”
“oh, i think i can see you, unnie!” the call ended and she heard fast footsteps approaching her. she turned around and saw you running to her, trying not to spill the mentioned coffee.
as you got closer and closer, she couldn’t help but wonder why did her face feel so hot all of a sudden?
yunjin closed the doors behind you. when she glanced around the room, there was no chaewon in sight. at least she didn’t have to listen to anymore of her rants.
“unnie..?”
yunjin looked back at you. “yes?”
“why do you.. hate me?” no. she didn’t hate you. she shook her head slowly.
“i don’t.”
“you do, unnie..”
“i don’t hate you, y/n. i just.. i’m not fond of you..?” she saw the look of hurt flash in your eyes.
“i don’t understand why, unnie!”
“stop yelling, you’ll wake the others up.” her voice was cold, yet she felt bad when you looked away from her.
“can we just… talk? please unnie, i want to know what i did wrong..”
a scowl appeared on yunjin’s face. “that’s the problem. you didn’t do anything.”
“huh?”
“you’re just so perfect, everyone loves you! you appear in the group after debut and suddenly its not about being a good dancer but ‘y/n is in the group only for a while and she’s better than you’.”
she saw you freeze. “what do you mean…?”
“i’m tired of being compared to someone who barely got in the group.” she walked away after that. she probably shouldn’t, her words were more hurtful than she meant them to be.
practice the next day was awfully calm. yunjin wasn’t called over by the choreographer this time, much to her surprise. instead, you walked over to the trainer.
“you made up yet?” chaewon appeared on her side, drinking from her water bottle as she looked at the american.
“not yet, unnie.”
“oh? i thought y/n told the choreographer that she shouldn’t get the solo part in the song because she wanted to share it with you or something.”
“what?” yunjin whipped her head to look at you, then back at chaewon. “i-i’ll be right back, unnie!”
she speed walked do you immediately. as you noticed her approaching, you gave a small smile.
“yunjin unnie?”
“you gave up your solo part? why?”
“oh..” you giggled softly. (i’m sorry 💀) “i thought that if i didn’t have a solo part.. my dancing wouldn’t be that visible and the choreographer would stop comparing us..”
“yah..” yunjin flicked your forehead. “you’re stupid. you don’t do stuff like this just because i’m jealous!”
“i didn’t want you to be upset, unnie!”
“i’m upset now, y/n. go to choreographer and get that part back right this instant!”
“but unnie..”
“no but’s. if you do that, i’ll come to buy *you* iced coffee today instead of staying back, okay?”
she smiled when she saw your eyes shining like a little kid’s. “okay, unnie!”
a/n: this takes place during ‘rusty’ where the bau deals with an unsub who believes he’s from a parallel universe. and honestly, this idea has been in my drafts since the episode aired almost 3 years ago

when R encounters a case where an unsub believes he’s from a parallel universe, she finds that there’s more truth to that claim than she’d like to admit
i do not give you permission to repost or translate my fics on any platform - likes/reblogs are okay and are much appreciated
A famous writer once said ‘we must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.’
And if that wasn’t the most apt description for your life, you didn’t know what was. Albeit the life originally planned for you didn’t exactly line up with the life you were living now, it still kept you alive. But no one in your present life knew about your former one. Hell, you’d surely be locked up on insanity claims if you ever broached the subject. Especially being surrounded by a team of psychological profilers.
But this current case was threatening to reveal your past. And you didn’t know how much longer you could keep up the lie…
You and your team were investigating the vast number of decapitations of father figures and were struggling to find a connection; only believing that the unsub was simply killing surrogates of his own father for reasons yet to be revealed. But it ended up being so much more than that.
As you continued to work the case, though you couldn’t pinpoint it, you had this lingering feeling of being watched. You’d even caught glances of familiar eyes staring at you. The more you tried to shake it off, the more foreboding the feeling became. And it had all come to a head when the BAU were looking at the victims’ bodies in the Denver police station.
Your eyes narrowed as Luke placed post-it notes of symbols next to each contusion found on the different bodies. The symbols were eerily familiar but your mind struggled to make the connection.
“They may be mathematical symbols, perhaps part of a larger expression.”
Catching the last part of Tara’s explanation, it was like a switch had gone off in your brain. You hadn’t seen this equation, or at least these characters that formed part of the equation, in several years.
Oh shit.
“Schrodinger’s equation.”
The words slipped past your lips before you could stop it.
“You’re right. They form the basis of Schrodinger’s equation.” Spencer agreed as he walked up to the board and wrote the full equation down.
Seeing the expression face-to-face, so to speak, had you fighting to keep your panic under control. Between the feeling of being watched to this case to the equation which you’d vehemently used with an old team member to perfect a certain time travelling device, you worried at how much water this case held.
“It describes the probability that a particle will behave in a certain way in a certain place in a certain time.” Spencer continued to explain.
“The wider implications of this gave rise to Everett’s ‘Many Worlds’ theory. Which is that reality is, as we know it, is only one of many possible universes.”
Almost as if on autopilot, you gave a brief insight into something which had taken up a significant amount of your time in your previous life.
You’d realised your slip when you saw your whole team looking at you, even Spencer, with confusion written on their face. Whilst they knew you were smart, when you’d taken upon this life, you deliberately omitted several details, such as your affinity for science and all things physics, specifically inter-dimensional travel.
“Oh I-uh-saw it in a tv show once.” You lied, clearing your throat in an attempt to provide yourself with some sort of a reprieve. Luckily, that came in the form of Tara, who’d jokingly referenced ‘Doctor Who’.
“Okay, so does our unsub think he’s in a parallel universe?” JJ, your partner, asked which only facilitated the pounding of your heart. More so because you’d been on edge ever since you’d taken this case than in fear of your team finding out who you really were.
The rest of the debate became muffled as you drowned out your team’s voices - too busy on finding the missing link that was the linchpin of what you were feeling than adding to the conversation.
“Hey. Hey.”
The gentle rouse of your shoulder coupled with the whispered shout of your name had you jolting as you tried to clear your mind. Blinking, you looked up from your chair to see a blonde staring down at you.
For a moment, you could have sworn it was your old captain.
But that didn’t make sense.
She couldn’t be here.
None of them could.
Shaking your head to clear the cloudiness, your eyes refocused as you looked up at JJ.
“You okay? You seem a little distracted.”
The seasoned profiler’s eyes were narrowed in concern as she tried to discern your behaviour.
“Y-yeah, I’m good. Sorry, just got a lot on my mind.”
“I’ll say. You even sounded like Spence for a moment there with all that science-y talk.” JJ joked, playfully nudging you with her shoulder.
“You know you can talk to me right? About anything?”
The previous levity in her voice was replaced with a tone of seriousness and motherly-esque concern.
Thankfully, before you could give another half-assed excuse, Emily burst through the door.
“We got another victim. Let’s go.” Your Unit Chief called after you so you followed her and Mendoza to the crime scene.

After you’d all collectively delivered the profile, your team, specifically you, JJ, Tara, Reid and Luke converged back in the office as you tried to predict the unsub’s next moves. Albeit, you were distracted because the nagging feeling of being watched had come back.
Canvassing the office, you looked to see if anyone was paying any particular attention to you or your team - which was when you finally locked eyes with a patrol officer. Analysing their behaviour, they didn’t carry themselves in the normal way cops did, which inherently raised further flags in your mind.
“Maybe we just need to step back and look at things differently.”
As JJ spoke, you excused yourself. Ignoring the confused protests of your team, you walked up to the officer and stopped in front of them.
“Who are you?”
The officer’s lips curved into a smile but what stuck with you was how familiar the smile was. Almost as if you’d seen it before.
“Wow, I’m offended.”
As you opened your mouth to speak, you were suddenly flanked by JJ and Tara.
“Who are you?” This time, the question was sternly repeated by JJ.
Instead of outwardly replying, the officer leaned in closer to you - unknowingly to you, they slipped something into your pocket - and whispered something that had your back straightening and the hairs on your neck standing up in revered shock.
“Hey, lil T.”
Your jaw practically dropped in shock. It was a nickname you’d not heard in almost 3 years and only one person called you that.
Charlie.
Your team members were too focused on your reaction to notice that the shapeshifter had disappeared.
Suddenly the pieces began to fall into place.
The familiar eyes you kept catching lingering on you belonged to Charlie, a notorious shapeshifter who was a member of the Legends. That likely meant that the rest of your old team was here, including your sister.
And if they were here, it meant that someone was displaced out of time or universe and, considering the nature of your current case, you’d correctly figured out that it was the unsub you were searching for. He really must be from a parallel universe. Another Earth.
But you couldn’t figure out how he got here.
Especially after the Crisis on Infinite Earths which led to the formation of Earth Prime and your eventual move to this Earth.
“Who the hell was that? Did you know them?” JJ asked, her hand on the small of your back.
Instead of replying, you were interrupted by a vibration coming out of your blazer pocket. Fishing in the pocket, you pulled out the phone and stared at the device. Answering the phone, you spoke cautiously, “Hello?”
“God, I have missed your voice!”
“Cisco?!” You whisper shouted into your phone.
Why was he randomly calling you out of the blue? Unless…oh fuck.
“I’ll be right back. I’m fine, I promise.”
Not waiting around for JJ or Tara’s reply, you walked into an empty office and began to speak freely.
“What the hell is going on, Cisco? Why is Charlie here?”
“Yeah, um, about that…”
“Let me guess, someone stole one of the extrapolators, didn’t they?”
There was a slight pause before your friend answered, “Maybe.”
“Fuck. This is not what I needed right now. How did this happen?”
Cisco then went on to explain that meta human who had once had razor sharp knives for hands had somehow broken into Star Labs and stolen the inter-dimensional travelling device.
You scoffed at his explanation, “Explains why this guy’s able to decapitate heads so easily. God, how many times have I said that you guys need better security?”
“Back up, decapitation as in heads removed from their bodies? Oh, that’s nasty.”
“It’s also my job to catch this person, Cisco. What the hell am I supposed to do?”
“Well, from what I can tell from the location tracking and mechanical data, the device is broken which is why this guy hasn’t travelled back to Earth Prime. But you’re gonna need to get that device back before you arrest him.”
“Now, how in the world do you expect me to do that?”
✧── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
After ending the call with Cisco, you knew you had to clear things up with JJ before you could follow his instructions. Dragging the latter into the empty office you’d just been in, you watched as she stared at you with her arms folded across her chest.
“Are you in some kind of trouble? Tell me I shouldn’t be worried.”
“I’m okay, JJ. Honest. I just-” you sighed, “I didn’t realise it but I know that officer. They were from my past. A long time ago.”
“And that phone call?”
“Was from an old friend I’ve not spoken to in years. It just surprised me, is all. But I promise I’m okay. Go on, use those profiling, lie detector powers on me. You’ll see.”
JJ laughed dryly before smacking you on the arm, “Shut up.”
Then she sobered and abruptly brought you in for a tight hug which you returned.
“I’m here for you, alright? You’re my family and I love you.”
“I love you too.” You replied back before smiling when she pulled away and held your face in her hands.
In the corner of your eye, you spotted Charlie in the far end of the station signalling for you to follow them.
“How about I get us some actual drinkable coffee from one of the coffee shops near by whilst we’re waiting for Garcia to come back to us?”
“Sounds like a great idea. I’ll call you if anything happens.”
Your timely suggestion was merely a ploy to get out of the station so you could meet up with the Legends like Cisco had instructed you too.
Reaching the empty alley way that Cisco had led you too, you rocked back and forth on your heels before turning when you heard the voice behind you.
“Lil T. It’s so great to see your face.”
You couldn’t help the smile that painted your face when you saw Charlie in their true form and moved to hug them.
“I still can’t believe you’re here.” You said, hugging your friend closely.
Opening your eyes, you froze when you saw two other people approaching. One of whom had tears springing to your eyes.
Pulling away from Charlie, you flung yourself into your sister’s arms as the tears fell shamelessly down your face.
“Oh my god. Zari, I never thought I’d see you again.”
“Me either. I’ve missed you so goddamn much. Are you okay?”
Your sister asked, cupping your face similarly to how JJ had done so minutes earlier.
“Better now that you’re here.” You hugged Zari again, your head resting against her neck as you tried to engrave this moment in your mind forever. Especially since you didn’t know when you’d next be able to see her again.
“What am I? Chopped liver?”
You laughed at your old Captain’s interruption and hugged her too, “Hi, Sara.”
After you’d all quickly caught up, you’d relayed what Cisco had told you causing the three of them to nod.
Grabbing your hand, Zari slipped the bracelet on your wrist, knowing you knew exactly what you needed to do.
✧── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
“We should split up.”
After your conversation with the Legends, you’d gotten a call from JJ who’d told you that they’d figured out the unsub’s identity and where he’d likely be. Which is how you ended up at the entrance of an abandoned gold mine.
Running into the mine, you weaved in and out of the tunnels trying to locate Kyle Peters. Then you heard cries and yelling which led you to the unsub and the two children he’d kidnapped. You knew your team was following closely behind you so you only had a small window of opportunity to get what you needed.
As Kyle continued to wrestle with his demons, you peered your head around the rocky man-made tunnel and used the air totem that Zari had given you to discreetly lift the broken extrapolator from his jacket pocket that was close to him and use the wind powers to let it travel to you. Grabbing it with your free hand, you pocketed it with a relieved sigh and then stepped out into the open to confront the unsub.
The rest of your team flanked you as you tried to talk the unsub down.
“Kyle, I get it. Believe me, I do. I know what it’s like to be displaced from your home, your family, from everything you know and to find yourself alone in this new world.”
“No! I have to fix it!”
You knew you had to steer the conversation to prevent any mention of the extrapolator device.
“But you have to face the truth, Kyle. These sacrifices you’ve been making won’t fix things. It won’t bring back your son. Kyle, face the truth. He’s gone. Ethan’s gone.”
You countered, keeping your voice level as your gun remained trained on the murderer.
“God, I’m so sorry.” Kyle started to cry as he dropped the axe to the ground.
Holstering your weapon, you approached the unsub and cuffed him before handing him off to another officer.
“Here you go.”
You said, handing the broken extrapolator to Sara who thanked you.
“Oh and you can take the totem back. Thanks for letting me borrow it.”
Zari stopped you by placing her hand on yours, “Keep it. We found a way a while ago to split the power in two so now we can both have one. It also means we’ll have a way to see each other. In the totem, I mean. We can be connected.”
“We’re always connected, Z.”
“You know there’s always a spot open for you if you want to come back.”
“I appreciate it but I think I’m okay here. This is my life now. And honestly, it’s a good one. We get to fight bad guys and not those with powers and stuff and we’re making a huge difference here.”
Sara nodded in bittersweet resignation.
“I’m going to miss you.”
You hugged Zari again, “I’ll miss you too. I really should be getting back but say hi to everyone back home for me, will you? And tell Cisco that I’ll kick his ass myself if he lets another one of our tech pieces get stolen again.”
“I’ll pass on the message.” Sara said as you all laughed.
✧── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
Having finished with your debriefs - and finding relief in the fact that Charlie had memory wiped Kyle’s mind so he wouldn’t reveal the extrapolator’s existence - you were on the jet back to the BAU with your team.
“All this talk about alternate realities. Who do you think you’d be in a parallel universe?” JJ asked you and Reid.
You laughed as Spencer explained why he’d be a cowboy and how the rest of the team fit into his world.
“What about you?” JJ turned to face you.
Laughing to yourself, you realised that this was the one time you could actually tell your team the truth and not worry that they would commit you.
“I would probably be a part of time travelling legends who rectify anachronisms or wrinkles in time with the help of our other Earth-bound superhero friends who fight crime. If all of that existed, of course.” You added when JJ smirked at you with a raised brow.
Her focus then shifted to the bracelet on your wrist.
“Oh hey, I didn’t see that bracelet before. It’s beautiful.”
Looking down at the totem, a soft smile appeared on your face, “It’s a family heirloom. I have one piece and my sister has the other.”
JJ reciprocated your smile as she wrapped her arm around your shoulder, allowing you to burrow into the blanket that she had draped over her.
With JJ’s cheek resting on your head as she hugged you close, you felt your heart settle.
Deep down, you knew you’d made the right choice. The Legends was your past but the BAU and this team were your future.

You and JJ had been together for years, starting from when she first started working at the BAU to now.
You understood that she wasn’t very open with her personal relationships, because you knew that the job was her main concern, and it was yours too, but that didn’t stop you from seeing a future with her, to wanting to get married and adopt children, no matter how grueling any of those processes may be.
It was late at night when you brought it up, the two of you getting ready for bed.
“Have you ever thought about getting married?” You piped up from behind her nervously, playing with your fingers. You were in bed while she sat at her vanity, removing her makeup from the day and brushing through her blonde hair that you loved so much.
“Occasionally, why?” Her eyes met yours through the mirror.
“Well, I’ve been thinking about it… a lot,” You laughed a little to yourself, “And I want to.” She went silent before looking back at herself.
“We can’t.” Your eyebrows furrowed, “Why not?” You couldn’t help but ask, a pit of sadness settling deep within your stomach.
“Because it’s too risky.”
“Risky, JJ? It’s- It’s not. If you're worried about what everyone else will say, I- I’m pretty sure no one’s going to judge us, they’re our family. Gay marriage is legal here and…” You were cut off by her. “I don’t want to argue with you about this, not tonight, alright?” You scoffed, throwing the blankets from over your legs as you got up.
“Then when are we going to talk about this? Because we’ve been together for long enough for it to be time to talk about it!” You were growing to become upset, mostly because you felt as though she was treating this conversation as bothersome.
“What’s the point of talking about it if I tell you the same thing every time?!” She was becoming agitated too. It was true, you had tried to talk to her about this before, and she had said she wasn’t ready to consider the possibility just yet, and you respected that, but it’s been a significant amount of time since then and it was clawing at the back of your brain like an itch you couldn’t scratch.
“Then you’re right, there isn’t a point to any of this.” You grabbed your pillow off the bed. “Where are you going?” She asked in confusion but partially in concern.
“I’m sleeping on the couch tonight. I can’t- I can’t be around you right now.” Your heart broke when she didn’t fight for you to stay, which was a selfish thought you must admit.
You guys haven’t been able to talk about it since then.
It wasn’t every day that you could say that someone could say that they’ve been held at gunpoint, especially at the hands of a very erratic unsub. It was between Spencer or you, the man practically playing a game.
You shared a look with Spencer, one that said you were about to do something that was impulsive and stupid. Swallowing your nerves, you charged at the unsub, his gun going off as you tackled him to the ground. It pierced your bulletproof chest, knocking the air out of your lungs as you wrestled with the man, but backup was quick to arrive and pull him off you.
As you sat on the steps of the ambulance, you were assisted in taking the vest off, a hiss falling from your lips. You could tell that the bullet left a bruise. What you weren’t prepared for was a very concerned JJ, storming up to you and pulling you into your arms the best of her abilities.
“JJ?” You asked softly, wrapping your arms around her back. “I can’t believe you did that.” You heard her mumble against your hair. “Well, if I hadn’t, I was pretty sure Spencer was going to get hurt. I rather it be me than it be him.” She just sighed, pulling away from you but leaving her hand on the side of your face.
Her pda made you nervous, but you were sure by now that the rest of the team had picked up on what was going on quickly. “I hate that you did that, but I would have done it too, so I can’t be too mad at you.” For the first time since your fight, she smiled at you.
“I’m sorry, for how the other night went. It was insensitive of me, and I should’ve tried to hear you out but… I’m scared, scared of losing you, and I thought that maybe if we didn’t get married or if I didn’t even think about it, it would make the impact hurt less; but after what happened today, I would say that it was a stupid thought.”
You rested your hand on top of the one holding you, brushing your thumb against it comfortingly. “It’s okay, I wasn’t being very considerate either. It’s just- I love you so much, and I can’t imagine not having you next to me for the rest of my life, but if just being your girlfriend is what you can handle then… then I’m okay with that.”
“I love you too, and marriage isn’t completely off the table, I think we’ll be a bit more level-headed about it this time.”

Jennifer Check X Male!Reader - Headcanons
Pairings: Jennifer Check X Male!Reader
Characters: Jennifer Check, Reader
RATING: PG
⚠️Warnings!: Non-explicit implications of sexual activity (basically a YA not at all description of sex).
✨Jennifer is bi (female lean) and has a hard time trusting any men, so if you caught her eye and she sees you as more than another lamb to the slaughter, you’ve got to be someone special.
✨You met when because you both went to the same school, and share the same science class.
✨Jennifer was your lab partner and that’s how you started talking. You knew she was the one of the most popular and beautiful girls at the school, but at first you weren’t that interested.
✨I think that’s part of the reason she found you so attractive. She liked that you weren’t always trying to get her attention like the other boys at school.
✨She would subtly flirt with you while you worked on your assignment, and you’d sometimes flirt back, but only really for fun. You made it clear that you were only really interested in getting through school in one piece and focus on your future college/uni prospects.
✨Jennifer is definitely gonna tease you for this, but inside she finds it pretty charming that your so dedicated to your schoolwork.
✨After she gets turned into a succubus, she’s gonna try to pursue you more aggressively. This is in your final year of high school, close to prom, when you’ve finished your finals and there isn’t really much left to do, but wait for the letters to come back from the universities/colleges you applied for.
✨At this point you start to really see Jennifer as someone you could build a relationship with, though you can tell something is really troubling her behind her very overtly promiscuous attitude.
✨She’ll most likely be the one to ask you out somewhere where you can be alone, like a picnic under the stars after seeing a movie. Her plan is to kill you like all the other boys who came before.
✨However, when you express to her that part of why you were really into this intimate date was you wanted to make sure she was doing okay, because you had noticed how much her attitude and behavior had changed and you were worried about her, she’ll pause.
✨This moment of hesitation is because she hasn’t really been asked (outside of Needy) how she is doing by anyone. Her parents are basically absent and indifferent to her suffering and trauma, and all the boys who express interest in her are more invested in getting in her pants then talking about her struggles.
✨She won’t believe you at first and try to get you in a compromising sexual position so she can gauge your response.
✨You’ll push her off you and say your not ready for that kind of commitment yet, and your interested in really getting to know her on a personal level, outside of the conversations you’ve had at school.
✨She’ll act angry, but when you really push that you just want her to be happy and okay, she’ll start to calm down and eventually that will turn into tears.
✨Jennifer hasn’t really gotten a chance to open up to anyone about her traumatic experience at the hands of Low Shoulder, who sacrificed her. She’s had a hard year and an even harder time coming to terms with her new life.
✨She won’t know how to give you all the details at first, but she’ll tell you some approximation of the truth (leaving out the part where she was turned into a succubus).
✨You’ll sit there and listen politely, hanging on her every word and making sure Jennifer knows you're really listening, you care about what she has to say.
✨When she’s done it’ll feel like a weight has been lifted off her to some degree. She’s still holding onto her demonic secret, but she’s told someone what happened and it feels liberating enough, that she’ll hug you all of the sudden. A way of saying thank you for being there and listening to her without judgement.
✨After that night, she’ll want to spend a lot more time with you (like a loooot).
✨You’ll be attached at the hip and it’ll encourage her to be less liberal with eating/killing random boys.
✨When you graduate she’s gonna want to do something spontaneous, like a road trip to Mexico.
✨On this trip she’ll feel comfortable with finally bringing up status as a succubus and saying how being with you has changed her perspective on how some men are actually not complete douche nozzles.
✨You’ll be shocked obviously, but you’ll come around to it, and except Jennifer as the girl and demon you’ve fallen in love with, despite her habit for killing nasty men.
