Boo! 👻 Sudden fanfic update!

Nahh, it's not a Halloween fic, or even relevant to the season. I just didn't feel like proofreading more than I already had. So I figured I'd have a little fun and jumpscare people with an out of nowhere update after a four or five month wait.

This chapter features a lot of Pizzazz pining over Jerrica, messy burgers, party planning, Pizzazz having to deal with a small child, Rio being Rio, and Roxy giving Stormer a stress headache.

Pizzazz never stopped making Jerrica's life a little difficult. It's just in a different way now. #workplaceromance

I used another drawing base/reference by @albanenechi (link) Of course it was to draw more gay Jem fanart. What else would I do?

I couldn’t resist drawing a Jerrazz version of that Barbie movie meme. I immediately thought of Jerrica and Pizzazz when I saw it going around. After I got a good ways into this I decided to also do a version with Jem as Barbie instead of Jerrica. Drawing that pose was kind of nightmare so I honestly just converted Jerrica into Jem instead of redoing everything. Hands are hard.

And in the aftermath of the confession Jerrica ended up bumping into Pizzazz in the last place she had expected and at such a low point in her life too. But sometimes these things have a way of leading to fun experiences.

Oh snap, this is my 60th fanfic on AO3. Anyway, when I did the Barbie mugshot meme for Jerrazz I started thinking about what would lead to it. The events end a little differently in this fanfic than they did in that fanart. Nobody gets arrested, shockingly.

A summertime shopping trip with Jerrica gave Pizzazz a sudden realization. It had been in the back of her mind for a while, years even, but this was when it hit her. "Damn Jerrica is attractive." Problem is, Jerrica is married to Rio and a mother of twelve. Well crap. *Takes place in a time where they're friends through K&S, and The Misfits end up working for Jerrica because Pizzazz got sick of Riot and Eric.

Okay it's done. Pizzazz's Crisis is up. This is a ficlet where I imagined a scene, shot awake, and needed to write it out. It's Jerrazz and a silly premise and I have no excuses.
