How Chuuya met you (as a civilian)
You worked as an employee at a hatter's,
It was quite a good, well reputed place, meaning you had quite a lot of work to do
Chuuya heard a branch of one of his favourite hatteries had opened nearby and absolutely had to check it out and get himself a few new hats
So as soon as he had a day off, he came to the place you work, all buzzing and exited
He walked right in, wanting to check out the pork pie hats
You happened to stand near the pork pie hats, ready to serve customers
Strange coincidence, isn't it?
Anyways, this beautiful hunk of a man walks up to you and asks you about the hat that was one shelf too high for you
So you ask him to exude you for a moment, and come back with a stool
Oh? What's this? The hat's down?
Anyways, Chuuya explained that he got the hat down, to save time
You were still suspicious of him, but decided to let it be
All this time Chuuya was hoping you didn't look around while going to fetch the stool and catch him using his ability
Chuuya ended up buying the hat, and that's how you met him
He swung by the store suspiciously often too
Meeting you (as a superhero)
Let's assume this is your first time doing "superhero things"
You had transformed before and made friends with Trixx, but this was your first time actually going outside your room as a superhero
You heard some kind of ruckus was being caused at the back end of the alley
Obviously, you went there to check it out
As you leapt from one building to the other, a flash of red hair caught your eye
Wait... It looked....familiar???
The owner of the hair swung their leg, kicking a bulky - looking man in the face
The man crashed into the wall behind him
You watched on, impressed, as the redhead seemed short but was obviously well built
You jumped down, inspecting the area
Chuuya's head snapped to you, arms raised, ready to attack
"woah there, I'm not here to fight. The name's (superhero name you made up on the spot), I just wanna know if the man you knocked out was who I thought it was"
"oh so you know him? How convenient" he smirked, preparing to take you down
You sighed, repeating yourself
"I already told you, I'm not here to fight. And no, I don't know him. Now that that's over with," you swung yourself onto a nearby ledge, to exit through the roof "tata!"
He just stood there like 'huh'
He blinked, walking back to the headquarters in sort of a daze
He visited the hatter's wayyyy more that usual
He also happened to bump into you every time????
You kind of looked forward to his visits because of how often you saw him around
He wanted to meet you every time he visited the hatter's, and he told himself it was because you were a good employee
And you were a good employee, not that you weren't
But he found himself thinking of your face, the way your hair was styled, your eyes, your voice and the way you moved your hands-
Why was he thinking of you?????
You were just an employee at a hatter's

But after he came to that conclusion, he found himself thinking of you wayyyy more often
He slammed the door to his office shut, going to Mori's office to tell him he'd be out for a bit
"oh Chuuya-kun! Do you need something?" Mori's voice called from behind his desk
"yeah boss, I'm going out for a few hours. I just wanted to let you know."
"oh no problem! Let me know if you need anything else~"
Before Chuuya could leave, Elise called out to him
"Chuuya, can you come here for a second? Rintarou won't let me have this pastry, can you tell him I need to have it?"
She shot the Boss a disgusted look, and shooed him away when he tried to pick her up and explain to her why having too many sweets was a bad thing
Chuuya hid a smile, walking back
"Boss, please give Miss Elise her pastry. I'm requesting you. Would there be anything else, Miss Elise?" He managed not to laugh at his Boss, as he turned to the blonde girl standing next to him
"hmmm actually yes. Go tell that person you meet every day at the hatter's you like them and tell them I said hello" she casually went back to her crayons
Chuuya stood there, dumbstruck
Well, I suppose nothing escaped Mori's eye, huh?
Mori simply smiled at him, reminding him he "wanted to be out for a bit"
Chuuya turned away, managing to hide his tomato red face
He rushed to the hatter's immediately, of course.
What they think about your superhero self
He thinks you're smart, cunning and low-key manipulative LMAOO
It's in a good way tho, you can manipulate bad guys into falling for your tricks and traps
So it's a good manipulative, and you never use it against your friends or people you know
I mean, it made sense as you were a fox but it still caught him off-guard
Best part, you did not remind him of Dazai, despite being pretty similar to him
That was the biggest relief
In short, he's intrigued by you
No puns intended with the "short" part
How he figured you were (superhero name) and how he asked you about it
He noticed that (superhero name) looked very familiar, though he denied the fact that they looked like you.
You and (superhero name) were quite different at first, you being more soft-spoken, down-to-earth and generally speaking, non-suspicious
But the more he thought about it, the more you seemed connected with the fox
For one, you have a very similar, almost same voice
Not to mention, the eyes were the same, exept the fox's seemed more cunning and deceptive
Your normal eyes usually held no deception, as none was needed
(superhero name) often used her hands to gesture towards things, which was something you did
He came to the conclusion that you might have a twin, because in his eyes you were too pure to be deceptive and cunning
Smh Chuuya really?? A twin??
He decided that he'd ask you out for a drink first, so as not to seem creepy
Like who'd just walk up to a random employee at a hatter's (although he was infatuated by them and in love with said employee) and say "You got a twin?"
So he conveniently slips into the shop just as your shift ends, offering to take you out
At first you're giddy because "oh my god the redhead guy who I have a huuge crush on just asked me out what do I do what do I do-"
Your co-worker, a middle aged lady (who was having the time of her life witnessing a blossoming romance) sighed, walking over to you
She placed a calming hand on your shoulder, leaning over to whisper "go for it. I know you want to and he does too"
That gave you confidence, and you said you'd meet Chuuya outside in five minutes
Jess this is literally just him asking her out not a marriage proposal stop being so dramatic
You turned around and hugged her, thanking her
"Now go, the young man is waiting for you. Keep him okay? He's a good one" she said, giving you a fond look
You blushed, thanking her again and making your way out
You and her hadn't been particularly close, but you were glad she was there right then
You stepped out, taking a deep breath
You opened your eyes, finding Chuuya waiting for you to your left
He took you to a nearby café and bought you your favourite drink (don't ask how he knew you liked it, he just had a gut feeling and hoped you liked it)
How Chuuya feels about you being a miraculous holder
Chuuya would definitely feel a little less worried about you, but would take it upon himself to teach you some fighting techniques
He'd feel they wouldn't just help you with self defence, but if you had to fight someone you'd have a solid base
He is the best martial artist in all of the Port Mafia after all
It's only natural that he teach his s/o a few things too
(y'all got together after that little cafe date btw I'm sorry I forgot to mention that)
He'd trust you completely, as you saw his "civilian" and "Mafia" side too, so there wasn't anything he had to hide from you
Even if there was, I don't think he's the kind to hide things from his partner
Like, he'd tell you about eventually, after having shown you his ability and desperately hoping you wouldn't leave him
Don't leave him 😁 yes that's my form of a threat
You don't leave him, being intrigued by his ability
And this leads us to the next part
Since it was "sharing secrets" time, you tell him about your kwami, Trixx.
He knew that you were (superhero name), because you told him that day at the cafe, but you didn't really give him the details
So after you do, he sort of co-relates it with his ability
He thinks Trixx is smart cunning and kinda cute
Like who wouldn't want to have a cute fluffy creature which grants you superpowers??
He's low-key cautious around him because he knows exactly what it's like have an entity who grants you powers
He knows it's up to the user whether to use them for good or evil, but he's still a little cautious
But he's usually pretty chill about it
What your relationship is like after the reveal
It doesn't really change much as such tbh
He still goes to the hatter's every free second, and gets you your favourite drink
He trusts you more now though, because he's loyal like that
He'd open up to you about his past, heart nearly beating out of his chest with the thought of potentially losing you
You accept him, and he couldn't be happier
He'd suggest moving in with him, and you do
So now you live together with him, and though he goes away for days sometimes, you guys make it work
