I don’t know about you, but as I lay here in bed I can’t help but be amazed at all the great things the Lord does for us. He is the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning, and the End. Who else could dare say those things? It just astounds me. I am amazed. How could anyone not want to encounter the love and power of Jesus! His love is contagious. We should all strive to love the way he loves us. I have been really into watching videos on YouTube where people all across the country and the world meet Jesus face-to-face. Where they find a unique and specific encounter with the love of Jesus Christ. The more I talk about it, the more joyous I become. He makes me so excited and happy, no matter what the days bring. I just want to shout it from the roof tops that JESUS REIGNS AND HE LOVES YOU SO SINCERELY! He created every little thing about each of us and knows us by our names! How incredible is that?! Like WOW! I think the coolest part about being a believer is that I get to reach out to the lost and the hopeless and speak life into their lives. Because that is what Jesus does, he speaks hope to the hopeless, life to the lifeless, and love to the loveless. (honestly the list goes on and on)
What makes Christianity stand out from other religions? Well, Christianity isn’t bound by a set of rules/laws, but by a personal relationship with Jesus. All you have to do is ask him into your heart, and you are saved! That doesn’t mean things won’t be difficult, but when times are difficult you have a shoulder to lean on, a protector, a defender, a best friend. He is always there to lift your spirits and speak life into the depths of your soul! There is nothing more satisfying. :)
