Ile de la Cité in Paris - Congress of the Universal Postal Union, A4 art print

The Universal Postal Union (UPU) is a specialized agency of the United Nations. Its aim is to promote the proper development and cooperation of the various postal systems of the world.

In 1947, the congress of this organization was held in Paris.

A stamp issued the same year by France took as its main theme the Ile de la Cité; a block of 4 unused and intact stamps decorates the assembly, they are in immaculate condition.

The montage that you have proposed is an illustration of the whole, with the block of stamps stuck on it; it is delicately wrapped in an envelope that protects it.

We no longer present Napoleon, but I offer two digital prints in which we find him in an unusual situation for him; you can judge from the first sight.

We will now detail them.

In the second view, we see it prominently, in the room where the senate of ancient Rome sat.We can note that his dress has nothing to envy to that of the Romans.

In addition, a touch of humor with the imperial eagle appearing in the center of the image.

A band of stamps recalls the many busts made to his glory.

In the third view, an impression which shows the coronation of Napoleon, with in the center the two main actors: it is the occasion to put forward a visual effect on this moment largely taken up by the painters of the time.

On either side of the image, busts are added, always to the glory of the emperor.

A bronze comes to join the party.

Finally a second strip of stamps representing the important episodes of his life ends this assembly.

The stamps in question were issued in 1972 by Fujeira; they are therefore vintage, have not been used and are pre-canceled. This creation is a unique piece like everything I create and it is a gift idea for those who love history, mainly Napoleon,

and for philatelists, because they will not have this UNIQUE copy.

The printing was done on high quality glossy photo paper: 280 gsm. You can keep these montages in plastic sleeves (which are provided), and collect them in a filing cabinet. Another solution, put them in a frame to decorate your interior.

The Bandiera brothers, encouraged by Mazzini, are determined to plan a raid on the Calabrian coast. They bring together a group of around twenty men ready to sacrifice their lives, including the Barese Vito Infante, the Calabrian brigand Giuseppe Melusi and the Corsican Pietro Boccheciampe. They set sail for their destination on June 12, 1844. Four days later, on June 16, 1844, they disembark in Calabria at the mouth of the Neto river, near Crotone with the intention of going to Cosenza to free the prisoners. politicians and issue their proclamation. They are betrayed by a member of their group, Boccheciampe, and by peasants who see them as Turkish pirates. A photo montage shows their execution in the valley on July 25, 1944.Images of our two characters have been superimposed; I added in addition the eagle appearing on the coat of arms of the Italian Social Republic. On this montage we find stamps issued in 1944 by this republic; they are new, vintage and have slight traces of hinge on the back.More details on these stamps in the last views. This magnificent photo montage, of digital art, allows you to discover a series of stamps issued in 1980, therefore vintage, by Mozambique.These stamps are new, in impeccable condition, and are found glued, thanks to an individual bag that houses them; they are not prisoners, which allows them to be admired and carefully put back into their cockpit.

The birds present are: - The Trogon narina (Apaloderma narina) is a species of bird in the family Trogonidae, endemic to sub-Saharan Africa. - The King crane (Balearica regulorum) is a species of large waders in the family Gruidae. It lives in the dry savannahs of sub-Saharan Africa, but it nests in slightly more humid habitats. - The red-throated Francolin (Pternistis afer) is a species of bird in the Phasianidae family. - The African Ostrich (Struthio camelus) is a species of runner bird in the family of Struthionidae. It is the largest of all birds today. - The Gambian army goose (Plectropterus gambensis), also called Gambian plectropter or more simply the Gambian goose, is a species of aquatic bird of the Anatidae family. It is related to the shelduck. - The eagle vocifer or Eagle eagle (Haliaeetus vocifer), also called African fisher eagle, is a species of raptors of the family Accipitridae. This digital montage shows two facets : philately with an image of Louis-Eugène Mouchon, French postage stamp engraver,

new technologies, with a portrait of Heinrich Hertz, German engineer and physicist renowned for having discovered the hertzian waves to which he gave his name; this portrait is put in a fictitious stamp showing the hertzian tower of Meudon (France).

The montage is enriched with photos to set the mood.

The strip of four stamps that represents all of this was issued in 1964 by France and is therefore vintage.

It comes in the form of four stamps framing a sticker with the PHILATEC emblem.It illustrates the double theme of the exhibition: on the one hand philately with the reproduction of two stamps in common use from the time of 1900, on the other hand the new technologies used in the postal and communications fields.

The Blanc and Mouchon types are reproduced by Jules Piel, with their old values ​​and in life size.

The other two stamps frank the postcard in the international regime. These two themes are reproduced by Claude Durrens, and which represent the progress of telecommunications and Post.

On November 26, 1929, Réunion saw an aircraft land on its soil for the first time in its history.It is then a real feat that we owe to Marcel Goulette, René Marchesseau and Jean-Michel Bourgeois.

Other celebrities have marked Creoles such as Rolland Garros, hero of the First World War, or the industrialist Maurice Samat, pioneer of local aviation who succeeded in 1933 in crossing between Reunion and Mauritius.

But we had to wait until after the Second World War to see commercial air traffic develop thanks to planes like the DC4, the Constellation or the Boeing 707.

These are the planes that we see on the photo montage with a view of the island of Reunion; to decorate everything, I placed vintage airmail stamps dating from 1947 and issued by France.

This creation is made in a single model, and the stamps are protected by a bag which prevents them from any risk of being damaged; these bags are stuck on the digital A4 print of the photo montage.

L'ancien sanctuaire a été détruit par un incendie en 1972 ; un nouvel édifice, oeuvre de Ricard Bofill, a été inauguré en 1976. A l'intérieur, on trouve une reproduction de la statue romane de la Mère de Dieu, ainsi que les sculptures correspondant aux sept Saints titulaires des sept paroisses andorranes, ce qui fait de Meritxell le Sanctuaire National. Cette reproduction figure en bas et à gauche de ce montage photo. Cette création est reprise dans la première vue, avec le bloc feuillet n°1 de 1982 émis par la principauté en l'honneur de la 1ère exposition officielle des timbres-postes andorrans. Ce bloc est vintage, de la poste aérienne et il porte un numéro au verso comme on peut le voir sur la vue 5. les informations philatéliques apparaissent sur la vue 6. Dernier détail, il est collé sur le montage grâce à un sachet sur mesure qui le protège de tout dommage. Même si le thème est inspiré par les timbres, cette création reste unique et vous ne la retrouverez nulle part ailleurs : il n'y a qu'un seul exemplaire, et il est signé.
