It was just kinda.. useless? It was all “Oh that’s not a good talent what’s your real talent oh wait that was a good talent after all” and I’m not really sure what prompted all of it anyway. Were we supposed to be questioning smoky quartz’ worth or something? I mean, I get that she’s a bit of a mess, but we already knew she was decent at fighting and that the yo-yo was cool and useful. And why fuse into Sardonyx in the first place? So, Smoky is wrecking up the place and maybe that’s why they fuse, but they didn’t even, you know.. ask her to stop? Did Pearl and Garnet just get so exited and wanted to join in the fusion fun? 

Ugh, I dunno, it just felt like it was random for the sake of randomness.
