The sails were being hoisted up by the crew as the captain yelled at them, “Hurry up you idiots, this doesn't take all day!” the captain continued to yell at them as the ship sailed toward land.
The ocean waves rippled across the ship’s edges, pushing the ship back slightly before returning to normal. A few moments later the ship docked and the captain and his crew started to file out, scanning the area the captain laid his eyes on a dark haired man.
The dark haired man was smiling — his bunny teeth showed and oh did the captain find that adorable.
The captain started to walk towards the man, ignoring his crew's call for him.
The dark haired man was gently getting tugged towards another direction. As he was walking away the captain sped up and started to jog and called out for the man, “Hey!” the dark haired man turned around at the sound of the voice.
“Hello?” the man turned his head in many directions before setting in front of him, hearing footsteps approaching.
The captain stopped in front of the man and out stretched his hand, “I don't mean to disturb you but I couldn't help but notice how handsome you are.” the man tilted his head slightly before smiling, “I’m handsome?” the captain nodded.
“Oh very much so, strikingly beautiful I might add.”
The man’s smile grew wider — his bunny teeth being very noticeable.
The man continued to look in the captain's direction, “I should really get going now.” the captain's eyes widened slightly, “Wait!”
The man turned is head back towards the captain, “Yes?” the captain looked at the man, “I have something to ask you..”
“What is it?”
“Do you always turn your head when people speak to you?”
“Yes.”
“Why is that?”
“I’m blind.”
An uncomfortable silence fell between both of them, “Oh .. I didn't know sorry.”
“Please, I don't want your pity.”
The captain looked at him, “I wasn't trying—”
“Goodbye.”, the man started to be lead in the opposite direction as the captain.
“Wait—”, the captain started to run after him — shoving people aside if necessary.
The more the captain ran in the same direction the more the crowd started to get bigger. The captain tried to push past people but it was no use as the crowd of people was huge. He looked around for the man but to his surprise — he couldn't find him.
The captain sighed as one of his crew mates Jin walked up behind him, putting his hand on his shoulder, “Captain Jimin?” jimin turned around to face Jin.
“Yes?”
“Are you alright sir?”
Jimin nodded, “Yes I am.” he looked at Jimin, “Are you sure—” jimin’s eyes darkened and his face turned into a snarl, “I said I am alright.”
Jin simply nodded and walked off leaving Jimin to his thoughts once more.
He needed to find out who that man really is and he isn't going to stop until he does.
A few months have passed and Jimin is still thinking about the man, he wonders what his name is.
He always asks himself “Why didn't he ask for his name?”, “Why didn't he ask for his contact information?” Jimin sighed — looked out of his window and then made a decision.
He was going to fine that man, the man who he had fell for the minute he laid his eyes on him. The same man who turned his head in the direction of where people were speaking. The same man who is blind yet has the most beautiful smile and beautiful brown eyes.
Jimin stood up from his chair and walked out onto the main deck and then walked straight off of the ship. Jin noticed Jimin and tried to go after him but another crew member Hoseok stopped him, “Let him go..” jin turned towards hoseok, “But what if he is in danger?”
“He's our captain, he practically is the danger.”
They both turned towards Jimin and watched as he walked off near the market nearby.
After an hour or so by pure coincidence he finds the man again which he did expect to see him again but here he is.
Jimin spots the man near a strawberry stand and he slowly approaches and stands next to him.
“You like strawberries?”
The man turned to his right, “Yes.” jimin nodded, “You never told me your name, I never got it the last time we spoke.”
“Jungkook.”
“Jungkook..”, jimin tried the name on his tongue, “That's quite a wonderful name.”
“Thank you, my mother named me that.”
Jimin nodded — looked at the strawberries and looked back towards Jungkook.
“I know this is out of hand but .. would you like to go out sometime?”
An uncomfortable silence fell between them both.
“You are a stranger to me, I do not know you.”
“I know I know but when I first laid eyes on you I couldn't help but fall for you.”
“But why?”
“Don't you understand Jungkook?”
“Not exactly..”
Jimin sighed softly and grabbed Jungkook’s hand walking to a nearby seating area. Once seated Jimin looked at Jungkook, “Listen I have something to tell you.”
“What is it?”
“Your parents told me to look after you..”
“Why would they tell you that?”
“Because they sold you to me .. to pay off their debt.”
Jungkook’s eyes widened, “They what ..?” he stood up and outstretched his hand reaching for his cane.
“That's why I came on land to find you, I was going to tell you when we first met but didn't have the chance too .. but just know Jungkook I mean no harm to you whatsoever.”
Jungkook clenched his fingers around his cane and walked away from the bench, his cane hitting the ground and rolling around on the ground.
“Wait—”
Jungkook turned towards Jimin’s direction once more, “Yes?” jimin looked at him and stood up — stepping closer to him, “Please let me explain everything.”
“One chance only.”
Jimin nodded, “Thank you.”
After explaining everything Jungkook and Jimin went to a cafe and ordered some coffee.
“You know I actually cook.”
“really?”
“Mhm .. I’m actually a chef.”
“Are you famous perchance?”
“I wouldn't say famous .. more like well known..”
“Soooo famous?”
“mhm I also work as a private chef sometimes.”
“Ah I see.”
“I’ve always loved making things growing up and when I went blind I just had to figure out to work around it and I did.”
Jimin nodded and looked at Jungkook, “You know .. we could use a new chef on our ship, the one we have currently makes us all throw up.”
“I just may take you up on that offer.”
“really?”
“Sure why not, I need someone to taste my new recipes any how.”
Jimin nodded, “Why don't we go out sometime?”
“I’d like that very much.”
