Jimin is unlocking the front door to your shared home, eyes half lidded and fingers clumsy as he waits for the machine to recognize his fingerprints.

Jungkook is behind him, head dropped on Jimin’s shoulder. He’s starting to nod off when Jimin reaches back to put his fingers in his hair.

“What’re you doing falling asleep?” He murmurs, watching as the door opens with a chime.

“Mmh… long day.” Jungkook says against his clothed shoulder. “Tired.”

“You’ll sleep soon enough,” he promises. They both trudge inside, helping one another take off jewelry. They settle in the bedroom where you’re already sleeping; Jimin practically climbs onto Jungkook.

“C’mere…” he reaches, gently undoing Jimin’s tied back hair and unraveling the braids along his scalp. Jungkook’s touch remains tender despite his own weariness. Jimin melts, all of his body weight leaning back against his boyfriend.

The soft rustle of fabric and the tone of their exhausted voices drift through the dimly lit bedroom, pulling you slowly out of sleep. Your eyelashes flutter against your cheeks as the mattress dips under their combined weight. A sleepy sound escapes your throat when Jungkook shifts closer to you.

Through half closed eyes, you glimpse the silhouettes of the two men who make this space feel like home. The air smells faintly of the outside world cool night air mixed with their lingering cologne.

"You're awake," Jimin observes, his hand brushing against your arm.

“You guys don’t know how to be quiet.” You dig, turning to face them. “I thought you’d be home tomorrow, otherwise I would’ve stayed up.”

“You don’t have to do that every time we’re on our way back.” Jungkook reassures you, giving Jimin a kiss to the top of his head when the braids are out. “— now get off me, I want comfy clothes.”

Jimin makes a noise of protest but slides out of his lap anyway and ends up huddled up next to you. You take him up into your arms as the little spoon.

“You smell like outside.” You murmur against his shoulder.

“He was just touring in those clothes and now he’s in bed.” Jungkook scolds. “Are you really that exhausted?”

Jimin reluctantly sits up. Jungkook stops what he’s doing to come over and help Jimin out of his shirt. — not before giving you a kiss though.

“Missed you.” He adds.

Jimin is a little rosy, opting to mostly strip by himself to save himself the embarrassment of Jungkook doing it for him. He doesn’t protest when Jungkook crosses the bedroom to gather him something softer to wear and snatches his old clothes for the laundry.

“Did you miss me too?” Jimin jokes, trying not to yawn.

“Oh yeah, the whole time we were touring… every minute you walked away from me.” Jungkook plays along. Dropping into bed on the other side of you. “Hi, honey…” he mumbles, big arms determined to trap you between them. You dont mind.

“Mh.”

The mattress springs creak softly as Jungkook settles in, his body heat bleeding through your thin sleepwear. On your other side, Jimin settles in, his smaller frame seeking out the comfort of your skin.

"Finally," Jimin sighs, relieved. The exhaustion from their tour seems to cling to them; it makes you tired just listening to them finally get a minute of peace.

Jungkook nuzzles into your hair. "We're not going anywhere now."

“Move your arms, I want mine there too…” Jimin sleepily insists. He weasels his arms over Jungkooks, trying to hug you as he finds a comfortable position.

"You're both too clingy when you're tired," you murmur, though you shift closer to them instead of pulling away.

"Jimin?! Hyung where are you!" He shouted into clouds of fog, as panic began to surface. He didn't mean it, he didn't mean to upset Jimin. He thought he was saying the right thing, what both of them wanted to hear. He began to run, paying no mind to where he was going, just focused on who he would find

as he spots a distant couple making out outside one of the rooms

but then he gets closer

Jimin snakes an arm around kooks waist

so now suga, rm and v know

but still none of them know the others know

that leaves 2seok to find out

"Jin! Let's visit Kookie and Chim!"

they have their own and make a public statement

but they get through it

and bts are even bigger now

they completely pull it off

and more and more idols have already come out or debuted making sure any following fully well knows of their sexuality

but the jikook announcement changes everything

and it’s not only thanks to that

but it’s thanks to everything the whole band have done so far

idols are coming out about mental health problems

they’re opening up about the harsh realities of becoming and idol

the world of south korean music changes

and everyone is digging the jikook

fan fiction rises through the roof lmao

and some people still write about separate jimin and kook pairings

but it’s hard to unsee the jikook hahaha

the world had been cleansed

everyone feels radiant

all is great

and jikook lived happily ever after
