Vera could feel they were at least one step closer to the truth, perhaps they were still missing lots of pieces to complete the complex puzzle that was the murder of the math teacher, but at least they were one step closer. And that step was made towards a room full of Pokémon posters, various instruments and different bunk beds covering the walls, a chamber smelling of dirty socks, cheese (??) with a hint of different perfumes (the writer hopes no one gets near such a tremendous smell in real life) and the duo couldn’t help but wonder what the hell happened in the actually quite small room those younglings were used to live in.
When Vera opened the door the next day, revealing the nauseous smell and possibly a rat that soon disappeared, but it was so big it could’ve been one of the kids for all she knew, a spiky blonde head looked at her confused, his pale face almost completely hid by a huge blue scarf as his big icy eyes stared down at the journalist.
“Hello there,” she started, well knowing she wasn’t that popular among younger audiences, “my name is Vera and I’m the school journalist, and this is my assistant, Dàvid.” She showed her partner, but quickly frowned when she noticed the guy smelling the room without even entering and rambling something about having tasted a similar cheese before. “We’re here to speak with Jing and Terek, are they here?”.
“What do you want from my friends?” the short kid furrowed his brow, assuming a protective stance in front of the door. “Are you here to fight them? YOU WILL HAVE TO PASS ON MY DEAD BODY-”
“Can you please stop pretending everyone wants to fight you?” a brown headed boy pops up near the blonde one, hitting him with a pillow that easily knocks him down. “You’re not strong enough to protect us!”
“But-” the blonde guy cries, raising his head up dramatically towards the other one, his hand reaching out to him as if he was slowly dying, “I gave everything, my pride, my honor, to protect you, how could you do this to me?!”.
“I did what I had to” the brown-haired kid raised his gaze to no point in particular, acting even more dramatically than his friend, “I know you want to protect me, but I have to do the same with you, or else you-” he frowned, a hand on his mouth for fake crying, “you might-”.
“Why are you guys having a play right in front of the door?” a third guy came out behind the two, looking confused. “Did one of you get in trouble again so you’re building this act to make them believe you’re crazy so they’ll let you go? Cause I don’t think that’s gonna work for the fourth time…”.
“Not if you reveal our plan!” the brown haired guy looked at him with disappointment, sighing as he turned to face the red haired girl just as she remembers why she doesn’t like to roam around those hallways. “What do you want?”.
“I’m looking for Jing and Terek?” she quickly asked, her question welcomed with a surprised gaze by the three, as the angry kid pointed at himself and the guy behind him mouthing a “us?”. “Oh, it’s you, perfect! What were you doing the night of the murder?!” she stepped a bit closer, her eyes widened and fixed on the pair.
“Partying?” Terek answered confused. “It was a party after all, although it ended in murder!” the last word was spoken with a dramatic touch that Vera liked, but ignored for health reasons, as Dàvid was starting to ramble about seeing weird stuff, having inhaled too much of the characteristic scent.
“Besides that,” she pointed out, crossing her arms and standing still, “you guys were accused of having a fight the night of the party, for which you chased each other-”.
“I remember!” Jing exclaimed, furrowing his brow as his gaze shifted from Vera to Terek, “He was being a dumbass as always and wanted me to be the victim to another one of his stupid pranks!”.
“Stupid?” the other looked shocked and hurt, “They’re works of art, you wouldn’t understand. And either way,” he turned again to the red-haired girl, “we won’t be answering other questions without our lawyers!”.
“You guys are what, 5? 6? You can’t afford a lawyer!” the girl pointed out, as the kid smirked.“What if we do? Our lawyers are in that room,” he gestured a nearby door, and concluded with a “you should talk with them first!” before closing the door so violently it startled Dàvid, who slowly came up to his senses. “What now?” he looked at his partner, who stood silent as she firmly walked towards the new door, wondering what could be worse than that… She’d soon find out that there’s never an end to how bad it can get.

Exams are over, but some people still need help since they didn’t technically make it for all of them ... Among these, Manolo, Jing and Kazimir are having problems with history, biology and, well, everything (and now Lance, Alia and Friedrich have to help them).
Fun Fact: The complete name in the first picture is “smol (drunk for life squad)”

This week, for #MentalHealthMonth we have this cute display of friendship from the kids, helping each other out when homework gets hard, as it does when you’re in the same class as 13 years old. But while some people easily pass every test as if it was nothing (aka Lara, Inge and Sara), others need some help and they created a special squad for that.
Fun fact: Pat (Alaappaat) suffers from ADHD and has his own fidget toys to help him concentrate.

3. Du Siyu (Beijing, 2002) 5.0+7.900 = 12.900
Interesting takeaways:
Beijing is the ultimate winner of the competition. It swept EVERY SINGLE GOLD in the 2001 category and team and bars for the 2002 category. It obtained at least a silver in every single event.
Li Qi is the ultimate individual winner clinching gold in the All-round, vault, beam and floor.
03 baby Tang Xijing is the best performing 2003-born gymnast winning silver in ALL 4 event finals, gold in team and silver in all-round.
02-03 babies score much better than older peers. Though many of the older peers didn’t come, many 02-03 babies are injured too, which includes Liu Jieyu and Luo Xiaowen.
The most unfortunate gymnast award probably goes to Chen Xiaoqing as she should have won the All-round, beam and floor with her raw score but she was shuffled to second placings in all 3 occasions after the trampoline score add-on.
I need these babies man👽👽👽
