But yo we started what I'm going to call an underground skills club. So like some of the other junior interns and I practiced IV needle insertion on each other. My first try was good. I got the needle into the vein. My second try was on the only guy in the group and he was anxious about me inserting so I got nervous. Didn't go in all the way but I did get backflow. One girl who was being practiced on, passed out at the sight of her own blood. Luckily she fell sideways and someone was sitting there to catch her. That was the only incidence. She's good with other people's blood though.
