MISSION: ASSIST A COMRADE (+5 points w/ @hrjitae)
Minji had thought that this mission would be a simple slip in and slip out. No one watching her as she entered the empty warehouse and made her way towards the back of the building, recalling the straightforward information left in the casefile. It seemed easy enough. Go in at night, the place will be empty, all the employees go home for the night. Except when Minji grew near, her ears began picking up extraneous noise. She stayed very still, closing her eyes and focusing on the sounds she heard, the shifting of fabric against fabric as people moved, the voices, the tap of shoes on the floor. There had to be at least twenty people in there. What were they doing in the building? Were they employees forced to stay late? No, Minji had counted as the employees of the business left. Which left only one option. There were villains in there. A whole mass of them.
Minji backed away, slowly stepping backwards until she had no choice but to freeze. She’d brushed against a trashbin that sat beside the desk she’d been crouched by, the metal of the bin clattering against the floor. Her eyes went wide with fear and tension. Even if she did make it out alive, there was the whole news squadron she’d be stuck dealing with. No, there was no way she’d be up to dealing with anyone asking her questions. She didn’t want that. She froze further, hearing the scraping of chairs, rapidly approaching steps, and she panicked. She scurried away, and hid, pulling her phone out of the pocket she had it zipped into and typed a message out to her squadmate.
to: jitae -> SOS
to: jitae -> Please!
to: jitae -> need more firepower. I’m trapped! 20 villains!
to: jitae -> and I’m in the closet. please, Jitae... help. [location attached]
She covered her mouth, holding in the whine of disappointment in herself as whatever it was a hero was supposed to be. She knew she shouldn’t be sitting in a closet, but she didn’t know what to do.
Finally, I have caught up on My Golden Life. Episodes 22-28. Let me first start with the good stuff. First, eventhough, they officially ruined my favorite couple on the show, I am growing to like the Cinderella couple (Eun Seok’s sister and Ji An’s brother) more and more especially went they went on a bowling date this week.
Secondly, stop blaming Eun Seok’s mom for everything. So, she forgot to look in the back of the car for her child and so she accidently left Eun Seok, that does not make her a bad mom. Plenty of moms in real life accidentally leave there child at the store or elsewhere, they aren’t bad moms. She is trying to do what is best for her children and family.
Thirdly, Eun Seok, or Jisoo as she likes to be called is really annoying. She is literally throwing a tampturn at the age of like 25 and expecting everyone to cater to her wants and needs. This is really grating on my nerves. Seriously, Ji An was right when she said all Ji Soo thinks about is herself. She grows sick when she does not get her way, wow, does she know how life works? Life is not fair in general. She needs to grow up and learn how to behave herself already.
Lastly, I do not mind So Ra, the fiance, she is a really nice person. If this was a different story or real life I would say he should just go with her, she would be a good wife and could even see them falling in love.
arent they just the cutest
