JJK 252 THOUGHTS
First thing I noticed was the art style on a number of pages. Last time this happened was when Maki fought the Zenin Clan and at the time I thought it was a stylistic choice. However, it was most likely due to Gege not having enough time illustrating all of it. Although I’d say this unintentional style is unironically too perfect given the chaos that is happening in Shinjuku.
Turns out Yuta didn’t actually get cooked. Still sustained heavy injuries, but was capable of letting out a signal for Maki to strike Sukuna from behind. And the fact has not disappeared suggests Yuta is still alive.
Ui Ui is working a 9-5 with every new casualty. Hopefully they could rejoin the battle later on.
Side note: Saw some “revival” theories yet again. Of all people who’ll most likely return to battle, I cannot see Gojo being one of them. As great as it would be, there’s no shot given the kind of sendoff he got. From a narrative perspective, it’s closer to wishful thinking.
Great to see that Soul Split Katana is lethal, making it harder for Sukuna to RCT his way out of this. A couple more direct hits and we’ll see heavy damages, perhaps even similar to what Yuji and Yuta were able to do within the domain.
Yuji is taking it rough 😭 Overexertion + relative novice to RCT healing doesn’t sound like a good mix at all. Also Choso’s alive??!! Turns out survived Sukuna’s piercing attack from many chapters ago!
Maki is holding up well against Sukuna. Way better than I thought, but I should expect no less from a fully realized Maki. Flipped his ass on his head. Ahh, great to see ☺️
Sukuna recognizes that Maki isn’t no bore of a sorcerer as she can see his technique better than the others. I’m curious to how this plays out and what more damages she’ll be able to inflict onto him.
She landed a direct hit through the heart and he’s not going down………….smh. The guy is just way too persistent.
POV SWITCH. Doesn’t seem like Gege is putting too much focus on Hakari vs Uraume. Just for the vicariously glazing Sukuna through Uraume. I’m maybe slightly interested as to how they’ll fair against Hakari’s barrage of attacks.
*Sigh*—I’m starting to think maybe Gege doesn’t want the protagonists to win.
Like, what do you mean by “still not using his full power” ? What more could there be besides black box / Fuga? Sukuna’s backstory is still unknown and with every new ability under his sleeve, I begin to wonder how he attained it.
Realistically, how do they expect to win? It seems like most of Jujutsu High’s cards has been shown and they’re only running out of surprises. Hopefully they’ll be able to come out with something new to counter the King of Curses. From how It appears Sukuna has one more thing in store.
