So, my YouTube channel has been kinda “meh” for a while. I got complacent talking about things that I cared about, but without any passion or effort.

So this week I decided to tackle an issue that is *EXTREMELY* and immediately important to every single one of my tumblr followers and that is the world of pyramid schemes and multi-level marketing.

In this video I’m going to be defining “pyramid scheme” and “multi-level marketing”, explaining how messed up they are, going over a class action lawsuit against LuLa Roe, giving some insight on the racist/misogynistic tendencies of these scams, and giving you some tips on spotting them quickly.

Because these scams target women (often low-income/immigrant/minority women) and are found crawling all over Tumblr, I think this is an incredibly important video to take the time to watch. I want you all to stay safe, and please share this video if you’d like :)

Hi guys. I made a video talking about two different (prevalent) mindsets on how to deal with trauma and how they can conflict with and complement one another. So lately I’ve been really overwhelmed and stressed about school and work and what seems to be the NEVER ENDING rising standards for students....school isn’t enough...school and work isn’t...school and work and 7 internships still isn’t....it sucks. There aren’t enough hours in the day to feel successful and both academic institutions and the workforce seem to really look down on us..

anyway..here’s me rambling about it.

I did a review of my birth control. It’s the hormonal implant “Nexplanon” that lasts for 2-4 years. I walked you through the whole process of getting it implanted (and the side effects)! Hopefully this will help anyone out there deciding on a birth control make a more comprehensive and informed decision :)
