The "Team Sakuragi" scene on the last Pokeani episode was pretty funny, but even more so to voice acting-savvy fans like me! XD

(In case you people don't get it, Yamper and Mimey share the same Japanese VAs as Meowth and Wobbuffet, respectively, meaning their placements on the motto sequence are even more appropriate than you might realize at first 😉)

This is full on Koharu solo adventure episode and boys are doing their own researching elsewhere and gooooosssh I love this plotline so much like, Koharu gets to do more on her own like in JN055 aaaah! AAAAHH!!

And she gets to do it with Hikariiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Ooooh.

I feel so happy to feel hyped for these.

And it looks good.

I don't know what could go wrong.

With it suddenly not being Koharu ep could be what goes wrong considering how JN068 made me feel like it would be about Shigeru and Satoshi and his 'mon but instead it was a Gou episode full and full with slice of good Shigeru but I digress BACK TO POSITIVE AIR I AM HYYYYYPEEDD!

Just watched Jn074 with subs and there were some stuff I didn't understand right away, so this was nice to rewatch! I love how Sakuragi suddenly became a worried dad lol. And I LOVE that Koharu isn't afraid to say what needs to be said, even if it caused her to have small fight with Hikari. She's just very honest.

Hikari's return was soooooo greatly done, she's definitely the Hikari we know and love, and Pochama, aaah Pochama I love you!!!

Also, SATOSHI WAS SO WELL WRITTEN, this is one of the rare times where I wasn't annoyed at Satoshi being written like a unknowledged dummy and Gou written as the all-knowing, now it felt more balanced and I actually felt fine with Gou in this episode! What do you know... heh.

Sakuragi Gang was an awesome scene, just fricking awesome, and next week looks to be AMAZING, these two eps are definitely big on Koharu's growth and I'm sure she'll learn a great deal from this. Looks like she'll bond greatly with Cresselia too.

Also I have a feeling Darkrai is just trying to protect Cresselia atm and thus causing nightmares so people wouldn't go to the forest? Or something. Ofc, Hikari and Koharu ended up in there anyway lol. Could also be that Darkrai is trying to get help and people aren't just getting it. Thou I feel like the nightmares would be the same for everyone if it was so. Hm.

Anyway. Good episode, I'm so happy to like it so much! Has a strong strong chance of becoming my new favs, depends on next week's conclusion!

Oooh I just realised something.

Hikari's Pochama refuses to evolve, as most know, and was given an everstone to keep him the way he is.

Wouldn't this be an interesting point to bring up to Koharu, whose Eevee is currently uncertain of whether she wants to evolve and, if so, which evolution?

I want to also note quickly that the G-max factor preventing evolution is merely a game mechanic to prevent people evolving their g-max 'mon. It really doesn't have any lore reason. The soup merely enables and disables the factor.

ANYWAY, the point is, Koharu could potentially learn of this aspect of Pochama, and then wonder if Eevee would prefer the same.

I think that could be cool!

Honestly, the scene where Koharu wakes up with a messy hair and is panicing about Hikari seeing it, and then noticing that Hikari ALSO suffers from bad bed hair, that scene was so gooooooodddddd aaah ;_; Pochama then helping them out, aaaah Koharu get yourself a Pokémon who can do that askjhgskjhfsj. Pochama I love you <333

So happy with today's episode, thou Hikari telling Koharu to try out Contests HAS me a bit worried about what they're planning with Koharu, BUT, I think she'll at best just try it out and then continue on searching up other goals :3 She really doesn't fit the Contest Coordinator route...

Aaaah the preview for next week looks great, thou admittedly I have worries on being mislead on what the focus is again but, I'll try to not get swayed by it. I'm happy to see Hikari again <3 And see some Koharu focus!
