Seeing Supernanny becoming mainstream is cool I love the show but the people who should never talk about minors (mainly children) will say things such as; «My parents would have beat me» «I would have choked that kid out» or «Jaja this show is free birth control!!! I’m so lucky I never have to worry about this ewww children.» Jo Frost was and continues to be a leading figure in the humanisation of children that people still are fighting against to this day. They are somehow directly misinterpreting a message that is in their faces. The children on that show aren’t being actively malicious they simply don’t know any better or haven’t been properly regulated by their parents.

Even as an child who's autism wasn't diagnosed yet, the Supernanny episode of The Facente Family which handled autism felt so wrong. I mean, there was even back in the early 2000's many ways to communicate than just talking. Poor Tristin is so frustrated about those sessions and they don't give him a break. Honestly it looks like he begun to verbalize just because the so called "therapy" broke him.
