Joan is an OC I've had for like... probably only 2 years maximum now. I'd have to check the timestamps on the messages when I first started talking about her, but I can track her development in one discord server. it's wild.

She's by far one of my favourite OCs ever though, probably one of two Girls Of All Time. So much has changed about her and I'm still figuring so many details out I don't know where to start but ☝️ she was based off John Halo. and she is a lesbian. and she is Canadian.

she's supposed to be goofy as fuck in all settings. it makes the tragedy hit harder. she's infected by a sapient disease parasite girl (other Girl Of All Time) who thinks Joan's the most special woman ever and has decided she should never die. This is all fine and above board as part of her day job, which (depending on setting) varies from Space Explorer to NYC Superhero (by the alias Oxenfree)

she's 6'10" - 7' tall (sometimes she grows 2 inches), she throws herself into bad situations to die in the goofiest ways possible to draw the heat off of her teammates, she can't swim, she can't drive, she has severe OCD, she loves cats, her real brain is stored in a big aquarium tank somewhere and she gets airdropped into a new clone body every time she dies, she's addicted to pineapple-flavoured energy drinks, she plays Xbox, and she has an evil clone. and Halo, the franchise, exists in Oxenfree and directly inspired her presentation (she wanted to look like Master Chief). AND. she believes in a better world. thank you.

my coworker started calling me joan of arc its very funny. he knows i like her "a little" and we all go to this local thrift store run by our other coworkers and a few weeks ago he left out this old joan of arc play and mini biography on a table and a few hours later i went in and bought it. i was talking about finding it to another coworker and he walked in and went "oh god. of course you found it" and has since started referring to me as joan of arc which is even funnier (to me) considering we were camp counseloring together while i was balls deep in religious psychosis thinking i was joan of arc (i didnt like. talk about it irl. esp not to coworkers i probably brought it up to a friend during and i dont talk abt it irl even after) also like. i am thee joan of arc girl. i have people asking me for info abt her for projects and art here on the blr
