I was keyed into a brand new Red Brick Songs tune this morning, and quite honestly, I went into it with very high expectations, since I've loved every track they've revealed off their forthcoming compilation. As I mentioned at various times this past half year, Red Brick Songs organizes a retreat in Toronto, where an impressive roster of talented musicians come together to create songs. Then It Just Goes is their latest exquisite song. It's a collaboration between Alissa Ricci of ON AN ON, Toronto artist STACEY, and John Mullane of Nova Scotia indie rockers In-Flight Safety. The song they've put together for us is a driving, crisp, and beautiful electropop song. It has the dreamy, soaring magnificence of an M83 song, paired with a CHVRCHES meets HAIM pulse and groove. Then It Just Goes is the fourth single from The Red Album, due out digitally in January.
