Nyla scoffed, “You know, I can file a bluepage on you if I wanted, right?”

“I’m well aware, but you’re not going to.” Nolan boldly replied, making Nyla’s jaw drop. “Excuse me?”

“This won’t only affect my career, but it will affect yours. Clearly there’s a reason why a detective is going back on patrol and training a rookie. If you bluepage me, it’ll affect your career too.”

“Don’t flatter yourself, Nolan. I could always train another rookie.”

“But do you want to is the question.””

Before they knew it, Nolan and Nyla were engaging in sloppy kisses. They were currently parked in a not so loaded zone, making out without a care in the world.

Nyla unfastened her seat belt and went on top of Nolan, unzipping his pants and pulling out his cock from his boxers. She knew it was a risk to her career to be fucking a rookie, but she also had a golden ticket so what could they do really?

Nolan took off his seat belt, letting himself enter into Nyla. Sleeping with his TO was not something that was on his agenda, but then again she wasn’t the first cop he’d ever slept with either. He just hoped he could find a way to break it to Jessica.

After a while, the two cops fixed up their clothes and sat back down on their seats. “If anyone asks, this never happened.”

“Fine by me.” Nolan chortled before putting back on his seatbelt.

The drive back was quiet.

John and Nyla dropped Dash back off to his parents a few hours ago, leaving them alone in the car.

“I’m…glad you’re okay, John. When I woke up and I couldn’t find you, I got worried.” Nyla admitted quietly. 

If someone had told her a few years ago that she’d end up going on a rescue mission for John Nolan because she cared, Nyla would have said they were crazy. 

But so much has happened over the years, and John managed to worm his way into her heart.

John placed a hand on top of Nyla’s, “Thank you for rescuing me, and never giving up. Just…for everything.”

In that exact moment, their lips collided in a soft kiss. John reclined his chair back and pulled Nyla on top of him, lips still connected.

Their kisses started becoming more heated, and their clothes were thrown to the side. They were now in the back of the truck, parked in a private area.

Nyla was straddling John, kneeling on the back of the truck. Moans escaped her mouth as he started thrusting. “John…”

John placed his hands on Nyla’s waist, burying his face in her neck. He could feel himself ready to come for her, allowing himself to release. “I’m gonna come…”

After a while, John and Nyla were fixing themselves up and putting their clothes back on. “Let’s agree that this never happened.”

John nodded in agreement, “What happens on the road, stays on the road.”
