🌗 Early mornings or late nights? What do they spend their time doing during these hours?Johnathan prefers to wake up early in the morning, for the sake of making hot breakfasts for the most part! Though, he does enjoy looking at the early morning clouds, as interesting as they are up on Columbia. It also gives him a chance to more clearly contemplate his day and plan it out, which is always nice for him; Johnathan likes to know exactly what each day should hold in store, even if he can’t know for sure. It’s easier for him to focus on things when it’s early, and he finds a sort of satisfaction in knowing that it’s a time special to him and only a few others. Plus, it gives him time to get ready.

🍇 Does your OC have any bad habits? Does your OC have any addictions like smoking or drinking? How did they fall into these habits and why?

Johnathan actually does smoke, albeit not a whole lot, and usually he just sticks to cigars given that was what he was mostly brought up on! That's mostly due to the fact that he is a. young adult in 1918, and that wasn't really considered a bad thing back then. Aside from thhaaatt... he doesn't anymore, but, Johnathan used to bite his fingernails. Now he keeps them cut short just to try and keep himself from doing it, but, now his poor fingers just end up suffering when he gets too worked up about something. It's okay, though, he probably can't feel it with all of the times hes burned them grabbing hot pans out of the oven with his bare hands, anyway.

🌸 What’s a sentence that would make your OC’s day better? One that would make them laugh? One that would make their day worse? Why? What words would you have to say to them to completely ruin their day?

Johnathan's entire day could really be made by any sort of affection from a guy who he was interested in — most of all a simple "I love you". Honestly, that might make his week. Actually, he might settle for hearing that from just about anyone, even tho that sounds a little pathetic.

Johnathan isn't difficult to make laugh, and probably finds dad jokes hilarious. I can't think of a specific one right now, but just know the more stupid something is the harder he'll laugh about it. He's just like that.

If you wanted to make Johnathan's day worse, you could probably bring up religion — despite being a deeply religious man himself, it's a bit of a sore subject for him. The only thing you could do past that to ruin his entire day would be to openly discuss the whole thing about. Homosexuality being. y'know. a sin. He doesn't cope with that very well! It would probably bother him for the rest of the day; or if he heard about someone who was condemned for being accused of homosexuality. Homophobia is not very sexy!

🍏 : When your OC says “I had a bad day” what does that tend to mean? Is it really as bad as they’re saying or are they being a bit dramatic? Listen. If Johnathan says that he’s had a bad day he probably like... really really means it. He tries his best to always look on the brighter side of things and keep an upbeat lookout on life, so if something affected him enough and for long enough that he’s outwardly willing to state that the day was shitty without any silver linings? You know it was something worse than just being a bad day.

🔮 : What does your OC think is their best trait. What is actually their best trait? What about their flaws? Are they one to admit these flaws or do they like to pretend they’re perfect? Johnathan really likes to pretend that he’s better than all of his peers that he finds among high-class rich white men, and slightly prides himself on this sort of compassion, but he’s... really not all that great, especially when you take into account what he’s actually done to press back against the system instead of just standing by and letting it happen. His actual best trait, though, is probably his optimism and general positive attitude towards other people. He doesn’t really let a lot of things get him down (Though, it does help that he’s so easily distracted), and tends to be a more positive light in peoples lives when they might need it. At the core of things though, Johnathan is weak-spined and selfish. He doesn’t act on... a lot of the riskier thoughts that he has, just for the sake of being afraid of facing the consequence of his actions; and, moreso, is afraid of losing what status he has in society at the cost of trying to fight for someone else. He’s well aware of this, and honestly feels guilty about it, but not enough to change. ❤️: What inspired you to make this oc? How long have you had them? How have they changed in the time you’ve been developing them? I’ve only had Johnathan for less than a month and if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this room and then myself. I don’t really know what inspired him, outside of like!!! Playing Bioshock Infinite, I think I’m just gay person and I wanted a character that I hadn’t really like. Made anything like before, because I’ve made affectionate characters but I’ve never really stuck my funny little toe into the realm of religious struggles and stuff. I think at one point I blacked out and woke up with a note on my phone that just said “Gay man with a wife in 1918″ and I went perfect. Wonderful. Johnathan honestly was originally going to be a lot more. snobbish when I made him and maybe a bit less on the liberal side but I’m glad that he’s developed into the haha funnee stupid man he is today because I absolutely adore him he is the love of my life.
