Let me start off my journey on Tumblr with a pic taken on August 2018 where I visited Bangladesh too see life sustaining projects, and meet with Rohingya Refugees. In this pic, you see me holding the camera wearing blue in scorching heat and behind me, the strongest women I've ever met, literally.
These women come from a struggle that you and I most likely have never known. Right now, you might be thinking, what makes them strong? Or they're strong because they're survivors in one of the most poorest countries in the world, right? They are strong for many reasons, some of which are that they are survivors of trench poverty and/or abusive relationships, they're teachers with limited curriculum, single mothers with almost no money, but above all things, they are humanitarians that want a better world for all of us.
Even after the trauma they have lived, they do not want too see other children go hungry as they have seen with their own children. They do not want to see more abuse of women because some have witnessed unquestionable actions against them. They teach other women to be strong and yes, someone taught them how to be strong too.
Let us pray the cycle of good and righteousness continues.
