Sorry for double dipping, but also, what is the whole dev cycle like? Ive always wanted to be a game dev and i want to know how its like to go through the whole cycle (forgot the word i wanted to use and just used the next best thing)
[I asked on Skype for clarification.] If by “dev cycle” you mean the team process, we currently just offer samples or send requests as we think of them, and drop them into our Google Drive folder as we complete whichever.I’ve mainly been working on sprites and talksprites, still focusing on Ruby and Tom and then establishing bases for the other characters: F., Red, and Stitches, to name a few bases completed so far.Basically, unless requested specifically for something, Nitro and I just share audio and visuals with the group as we make them and share any ideas as we go.
I did notice that someone on Nitro’s Youtube had asked about voice acting.While we hadn’t even discussed the possibility yet, and we may not bring that on the table until we’re started on cutscenes, we may or may not open auditions or... I dunno, maybe CoLab would be willing to collaborate? [That’s probably just wishful thinking, though.]
As for splitting the programming work, Jag and Norix will have to answer that one for themselves.
