there is something heart-wrenching about the way older sam looks so shy and hesitant around john, visibly vulnerable, like he is afraid to meet john's eyes, especially compared to his younger early seasons self.
sam & john + hedgehog's dilemma ♡
Sam who learns when to flirt and when to play the submissive part the men around him want (John, Dean, lucifer). Sam who knows how to defuse situations with his body, his mouth, whatever they need.
Lucifer who knows that part of Sam like the back of his hand, knows the trick. Acts up just for the reward. Threatens Sam's family for the promise of a pliant Sam beneath him.
Dean who gets his stress out through action and physical movement. Who starts swinging punches if Sam doesn't crush their lips together. Who doesn't even realise that Sam's doing this out of survival instincts, thinking his baby brother is just trying to help him. He doesnt realise how threatening he looks beforehand.
John who instilled this in Sam to begin with, all hands and pushing till he had Sam beneath him for that perfect stress relief. Who hit and pulled until he submit. Who told him thats what he's good for.
Sam who feels guilty for manipulating them when he knows that if he doesn't, he'd likely end up hurt. If not others too.
