If the dulcet vocals greeting your ears on this song from Brooklyn trio BLND TIGR sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because you’ve been enchanted by Jojee’s solo music in the past. As new side project BLND TIGR, she’s joined by multi-instrumentalist/producer Dan Vosk and producer Good Breed Slim. Together, they dole out a crystalline form of carbonated electro pop on Heartbreaker, their second single from a forthcoming debut EP set for release come January. The lissome charmer, blooming with airy keys and burbling beats, will be making its worldwide radio premiere on Beats 1 Radio with Ebro Mane on November 29th. BLND TIGER says: “We wrote this song about a weird, dark time in a past relationship for me. I loved him but had to end it and essentially break my own heart because things were getting very toxic. I was being a little selfish though because I knew it would hurt less to be the one to end it than to have him be the one to walk away from me.” Prior to Heartbreaker, BLND TIGR released a beautifully billowing debut electropop single named Lock N Load which you can stream below. The new trio to watch will be performing at Gramercy Theater in NYC on December 11th.
