I did JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure makeup this weekend because I’ve just been wanting to do it again for a while! I feel like I’m always dressing like a JoJo character anyways this felt fitting (but also like it totally transformed my face and my face didn’t feel like my face anymore lmao) I had a lot of fun doing this!! (Also embracing the cheek mole instead of covering it up in this so that’s different)
Sup~
So some time ago an amazing artist @kucingautis made this post about Jojo official makeup line and used their colours on some of JoJo characters, which ended up looking really amazing. Loving JJBA and makeup I thought: ‘’Oh, I wonder how such colours and combinations might look in real life’’. And so, with such wild idea, makeup and a little passion, I decided to try and recreate the looks from artist’s post on myself.
It was really fun and challenging. So here are the results with small comments~
Note: Some of the looks had to be changed due to me not having a type of eyes with a lot of space to work with. I did not have everything for each look, so with some I had to improvise with mixing colours, changing wings for my eyes. Also the photos are not the best quality, since I recently broke my back phone camera, so had to use not so good front one.
First we have Giorno
Probably the easiest one in terms of colours( I frequently use these colours so the combination was pretty simple to follow). Hardest thing was to try and mix colours to get a somewhat red colour
Bruno
2-3 colours to mix, but quiet challenging for me as I do not use black/gray colours in my makeup at all. The biggest challenge - wings. I do not use liquid eyeliner or do wings frequently, so I have to practice before.
Abbacchio
Now this one, oh boy. This was the last look I did and I had the worst luck with it. I didn’t have the true purple so I had to mix 2-3 colours together and again - dark colours, not much experience. I consider it to be the hardest in terms of luck, since after I had almost finished it, I accidentally hit myself in the eye with a brush, crying out of the corner of my eye(you can see the redness lol) and contemplating my life choices. So one might say this look might not have an Abba presence, but the process was truly Abba-like
Risotto
Somewhat easy to do at first, but then you keep correcting stuff. Used dark gray with green underneath it and a gold gel(?) eyeshadow to cover it up. Again, not a perfect recreation, but we tried
Prosciutto
Most interesting and challenging look I have ever did. I had to change the look( from yellow to gold, bringing the line up) and I do not use blue colours at all so it was really fun to try and do and I am just happy it turned out decent
And Melone
The easiest colours to work with(I love pink aesthetics), yet the hardest wing to draw,i feel like I exaggerated it a bit, but it’s Melone so it should be extra. Due to me not having an orange-red eyeshadow I decided to go with a dark pinkish-red.
And that is it, my small ‘’project’’ if one might call it so. It was definitely an experience and test of my skills
Special thanks to @fugoscutouts and @jojogio for their endless support and feedback in regards of the looks
I appreciate all the feedback and criticism!~ Thank you and good luck!
