Let this place erupt with praise Why do you look for the living among the graves? Jesus lives, all the earth sing out The power of death has been broken And this changes everything

Song For Natalie
My way forward is always about going deeper into God’s love for me. Deeper into God’s heart, deeper into union and communion with Him. I’m walking the road to claiming my identity as the Beloved of God.
—Sharon Garlough Brown, Sensible Shoes
“Wash me…” from the dust of dreams,
Of sorrow’s song with iron bars
Take from me my ash and tears;
I lay them down—the bitter years…

This is God in His holy place This is God clothed in love and strength.
The song playing at Foodtown was “Overcome,” by Jon Egan, as presumably performed by Jeremy Camp. (“Savior, worthy of honor and glory …/Jesus, awesome in power forever/Awesome and great is Your name….”) In Original American Chicken the following day, they were playing “I Get a Kick Out of You,” by Cole Porter as sung by Ella Fitzgerald. Guess where I felt more comfortable.
Here In Your Presence
All of my gains now fade away Every crown no longer on display, here in Your presence Heaven is trembling in awe of Your wonders The kings and their kingdoms are standing amazed
Here in Your presence, we are undone Here in Your presence, heaven and earth become one Here in Your presence, all things are new Here in Your presence, everything bows before You.
What does this even mean. What does this even look like.
Heaven trembles in awe of His wonders.
Kings and their kingdoms stand amazed.
I'm scared of this if I'm honest. This God who causes all of creation to bow before Him just by standing in His presence. No words, no weapons. Just His presence. This God who has performed glorious things and causes kings to stand amazed, unable to move in their own strength. What kind of God is this.
This God is the same God who loves you and me wholly and completely. And I can't understand why. And it's beautiful. But it's a terrifying beauty. And I'm scared.
I Am Free
Through You the blind will see Through You the mute will sing Through You the dead will rise Through You our hearts will praise Through You the darkness flees Through You my heart screams I am free I am free Chorus: I am free to run (I am free to run) I am free to dance (I am free to dance) I am free to live for You (I am free to live for You) I am free (I am free) Yes, I am free (I am free) Through You the kingdom comes Through You the battle's won Through You I'm not afraid Through You the price is paid Through You there's victory Because of You my heart Sings I am free I am free Chorus: Who the Son sets free is free indeed. Who the Son sets free is free indeed.
