And it wouldn't be a fan art series without some BrandoSando.

Here's my take on a smaaaaaaallll portion of the characters from Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive. Weirdly enough, the most fun to paint was the Stormfather in the bg there.

I honestly can barely keep up with the sheer volume of work the man puts out, but I'll always have shelf space for Kaladin, Shallan, Adolin and the rest.

The Stormfather's Judgment

Teft had seen enough dead men on the battlefield to know what he was looking at. Poor lad, he thought, shaking his head as the rest of Bridge Four gathered around him and Rock, quiet, horrified. You almost made me believe in you. Kaladin’s eyes snapped open.

Stormlight Characters Taking Bubble Baths

Bubble bath technology has arrived on Roshar!

1. Adolin

There are scented candles. The bath bomb he used turned the water lavender in both color and scent. He has a glass of wine. The lights are low. Adolin is so relaxed he feels that he is turning into liquid himself.

2. Sadeas

There are scented candles. The bath bomb he used turned the water orange in both color and scent. He has a glass of wine. The lights are low. Yet despite being so relaxed, Sadeas can't help but feel that something about this situation is...wrong.

3. Navani

With her hair pinned up and her glasses on, Navani is sitting in the warm, bubbly water and reading a book. She’s using a heating fabrial to keep the water warm, so it is technically research.

4. Dalinar

Dalinar always believed that a good, cold plunge was better than sitting idly in a bath. But... This heating fabrial of Navani's sure does make it feel luxurious... Is he turning into a bath guy?

5. Baby Gavinor

He has toy boats and is solemnly enacting a naval battle. Already one boat has been sunk to the depths. Gavinor splashes his fingers to represent the drowning sailors. Also there are bubbles. Gavinor doesn't seem to notice those, really.

6. Lift

As a child, Lift was always convinced that a bath monster would come out of the drain and eat her toes. This was because her mother would slide a hand under the water, grab her toes, and yell, "I'm the Bath Drain Monster!" while Lift shrieked with laughter. Now bubble baths make her a little sad.

7. Kaladin

The bathtub is too small for Kaladin. He is sitting with his knees up out of the water wondering if baths are supposed to be this boring.

8. Rock

The bathtub is too small for Rock. He’s used to it. He keeps splashing water over his chest and knees to keep them warm. “I’m the soup now,” he says to himself and chuckles. That joke never gets old.

9. Lopen

Lopen is giving himself a huge bubble hat and a huge bubble beard. Rua is losing his MIND laughing.

10. Jasnah

The water is hot, the bubbles luxurious. Jasnah is lying all the way down with her eyes closed. There is classical music playing. Pure luxury.

11. Elhokar

Elhokar once tried bathing in aerated yellow wine because it sounded luxurious. It was not luxurious. It was more sticky than anything else. Elhokar has been a little bit suspicious of baths since then.

12. Hoid

The whole rim of the bathtub is covered in rubber ducks that Hoid has collected on his many journeys. Hoid is telling them a story as he lounges in the bath. One of the ducks boos. Hoid sighs. Design loves to be a booing duck.

Do you sometimes get into the zone where you cannot stop thinking about how Sigzil renounced his oaths and made Vienta a deadeyes because in that split-second that was the only way he could think of of saving her?

Do you realize he would eventually realize that maybe Vienta would have preferred to die rather than become a deadeyes but he didn't get the chance to ask her and he never got a chance to meet her again because Wit made him leave Roshar and he would spend all his life with that guilt?

Do you realize that Lopen was right when he said "that was maybe the bravest thing I've seen anyone do, gancho"?

Kaladin getting so giddy because he gets to tell Navani that her son is safe and in a place no assassin would think to look. Meanwhile Elhokar is having the worst time of his life because an angry Herdazian woman is yelling at him for not eating his food.

transmasc kaladin. kaladin is curled up on the floor trying not to die and the lopen walks by. "hey, gancho, what's got your chull today? oh, the bloody light of salas shines bright upon you this week? sure, i got a cousin like that. don't worry! my aunt palona knows a remedy for your pains." kaladin is barely able to think but he does manage to get out a "sebarial's mistress is NOT your aunt, lopen!" he's wrong, of course: the lopen knows all things.

Love that first moment when everyone in bridge four has decided that they are people rather than trash, and they all fucking shave.

It's so fucking deliberate... they care again....
