I forgot this at the end of my run recap, but decided it was worthy of its own tiny post. GOOD LUCK to two of my runblr peeps- jordan-gets-fast and two-o-nine. Both Jordan and Brooke will be running Twin Cities Marathon tomorrow and I can't wait to get my tracking texts! You ladies have worked your butts off training, I can't wait to hear all about it!

Twin Cities Marathon Weekend...

What's going on?  Whose meeting who?  Am I going to finally get to meet Bob??  Blue Door again? Friday night?  Saturday day?  Has this already been planned?  You all come visit me in the woods??

I just made some serious yoga plans with Katie and Jordan for the next week. Bring on the sweat and all the sore muscles. I guess I'd better fix the polish on my toes and dig out my best lulu knock off tights. Did I mention it's free for the first week? Score.

I met Jordan at Lake Calhoun today for a brisk little 3 miler at sunset. We were cold and slow and tired. But we got out there and did it and we can only get better. Sometimes it's nice to dial back the pace and just enjoy the run and the company. 3.05 miles in 34:38. Average pace 11:21.

First massage was a success!

Jordan is the best and surprised me with this. I can’t say thank you enough because ermahgerd. Felt so good, but hurt so bad. I didn’t realize how sore and tight I was in my shoulders. The massage therapist did say, however, that I wasn’t as tight as she expected.

Had dinner tonight with two lovely ladies and a Cameron at The Nook...sitting in the secret nook. Good food, good conversation, good people!
