After seeing a post of someone making The Diamond authority image with Peri in Pinks place i got an idea-
Would Fairy world, after finding out that Peri is in Earth disguising himself as a human, would they leave him alone and respect his decision, or would it be like that one scene in Steven Universe with White diamond and Steven.
"As for this lastest little game of yours, thank the stars it's over. Did you have fun? Did you get it all out of your system?"
"I-"
"Good good we're all so relieved. Welcome home Peri"
At first they 100% try to keep him in fairy world, it would be a lot like that scene. but Peri REALLY doesn't want to be there, he's constantly trying to escape and is honestly just really depressed, he hates fairy world so much, it just reminds him of so many terrible things, he hates feeling trapped. it reminds him how he will never be human but god does he want to be. if he was human he could just live a normal, mundane life. but no, he's trapped in fairy world, probably being berated for running away. Irep also 100% comes to torment him a little when he's trapped.
I'd imagine Hazel, Dev, Wanda and Cosmo would help him to get out, along with convincing everybody (mainly Jorgen) to let him stay on earth. Jorgen agrees as long as Peri acts as a sort of "godparent" to Dev. Peri would be a better godparent for Dev in this au since he had already been looking after the kid so he's more experienced on how to look after children.

A little insight on my AU BECAUSE I SAID SO
When this first happens, like when he realizes what he can do with his power, he's scared. But that was back when he was 7, and nobody knew about this.
He never used his power again until later on, maybe when they were 13. Irep was being tormented and bullied cuz fairies hate anti fairies, and he's always treated poorly. Irep usually wouldn't care. But during this time, they were both going through puberty. Irep was a lot more emotional and sensitive during this time, unlike his usual self. Which made it a lot more fun to bully him. But Peri had enough. Forgetting he could do what he can, he fought them. But they fought back, and broke his wand. That's when his wings appeared. Everyone started to run away, but he wasn't done. He attacked them with his wand. He only stopped once he saw just how terrified Irep was. So he fixed his wand and went back to normal. But the teachers witnessed it. And they called Peri's (not Irep's) parents, who were just as scared as Irep. The principal told them that in the later years of Peri's life, he could be more powerful than Jorgen. They debated taking Peri out of school, as they thought he would be a threat. But once they promised never to do this again, they trusted them.
And then fast forward again. Now he's 22, canon age (headcanon, at least). Dev is complaining about Jorgen and how he thinks he's all that just because he's the most powerful fairy, in which Cosmo and Wanda tell him that no, Peri is. Dev confronts Peri with Cosmo and Wanda later, saying that if they're the most powerful, they could've granted his wishes all this time and not answered to Jorgen. Peri gets mad at his parents for telling Dev and they back themself into a wall. Their wand breaks again, and Dev sees their true power. They're even more powerful than 9 years ago. They go on a power rampage. Their power currently is fueled by their rage, meaning that the wings that sprouted(?) are the purple and gold sparkle ones, the ones that as far as we know, indicate that he is at his most powerful. He, again, stops once he sees Dev crying, petrified. He goes back to normal and hugs Dev, telling him it'll be okay, and that he will try to use his power for good
