Not having to be concerned over a gun Joseph shot his former comrade a grateful, even a bit lighthearted, smile. It was a great thing to see that the other man, despite trials, was still capable of discerning friend over foe. He did not judge him for his wariness either. "Not too long 'go, actually. She's doin' well - a doctor now." A pause as he considered how to put this. "I've seen some'f the others too." The infected man didn't specify which ones. Not yet. He didn't know how much Chris knew.
The smile wasn't entirely returned, but he was working in baby steps here. Trust wasn't granted easily, not anymore. "Who?" he asked, not pulling any punches in asking and not bothering to offer up information. Chris knew plenty about some things, and then was hopelessly in the dark about others, such as Joseph's current state up until a few minutes ago.
