With the General Election just a little more than a week away, I feel it’s only right to bring awareness of one of the important races coming up, and that race being Josh Shapiro vs Doug Mastriano for Governor. I have had the luxury of working at events that Shapiro supports, from criminal record clearing clinics held by The United Way/The Promise, to his support of unions and fair contracts. Both of these issues are ones that address financial disparities and help level the playing field some. It’s not a lie that Philadelphia is one of the poorest big city in the United States, and I don’t see Mastriano, the person who stormed The Capitol nor believes in equality, as the one who has our best interests in these matters.
