Welcome to Oldtakak Week 2024!

This year, the event will span from November 24th to November 30th.

The prompts are as follows:

Day 1: Massages, showering, relaxing

Day 2: Marriage for love/taxes/both, proposal, reception

Day 3: Arguments, aches and pains, frustration

Day 4: Healing, laughter, trust

Day 5: Hands, faces, hair

Day 6: Flowers, food, drinks

Day 7: Sharing clothes, living together, familiarity

When submitting something for this project on tumblr, please tag @oldtakakweek and tag your post “#oldtakak week 2024”! This way your submission will for sure be seen

Beyond minimal usage of flashbacks, NO depictions of these two from part 3 for this project; please only depict them from the ending of part 4 and on. This project is to celebrate getting older and the life these two in particular could’ve had. So, while there’s nothing wrong with exploring younger jotakak and their dynamic from then, this is not the project for you if that’s what you want to focus on! It’s silly middle-age-to-old-men time

NSFW is allowed considering all portrayals of these two should be well into adulthood in this project, however please don't be too graphic. No NSFW-specific prompts will be made, but the prompts are open-ended – so if you get an idea for one that ends up NSFW, feel free

Do NOT participate if you are “proship”/“anti-anti”. Beyond the given moral complications, the moderator has experienced personal issues in their life that make it so they don’t want to work creatively with proshippers — so if nothing else, respect that.

No EARLY submissions please, but LATE submissions are 100 percent allowed! Hell, if you see this two years after it’s over and still want to participate, or if it takes you two years to finish a submission, please do still submit and tag!

Submissions do not need to incorporate every prompt listed for one day. For example, if you have an idea for the "showering" prompt on Day 1, but don't care for the “massages” or “relaxing” prompts, it is fine and encouraged that you just do something for the showering prompt and nothing else! There is no need to include everything. There are multiple prompts just so there are plenty of options to draw inspiration from.

Day 2 - Scars

happy 2023 i once again entered a new year while drawing noritaro

context idk

first one: i just like hugs

second one: i think jotaro grew up speaking english but never had any formal classes for it, so his grammar can be kinda off. kakyoin is vice versa in that he’s only ever had formal classes for it but never speaks it regularly outside of school. so in order to help kakyoin w his pronunciation and jotaro with his grammar, kakyoin would read books outloud to jotaro so jotaro can learn the flow of ~grammatically correct~ english and so jotaro can help kakyoin with his pronunciation

comic: i don’t think kakyoin and jotaro like kiss or even really have a “relationship” per se on the trip to egypt but more just a mutual understanding they feel some kinda way for each other and that it’s reciprocal. i think the closest they get to kissing is when theyre splitting up for the pincher attacked and kakyoin kisses his fingertips and then presses them against jotaro’s lips as a sorta promise for later. so

More art of Jouta!! (my design) :DDDD super happy with how this turned out. I used a ref from pintrest for the pose, as well as for the design for his trousers, but thats about it.
