I saw that today would've been Judith Barsi's 48th birthday so I got the idea to draw her two beloved characters together (Anne-Marie from All Dogs go to Heaven and Ducky from The Land Before Time)

Adam Shows Charlie Who She Could Be Hurting With Her Ideas

Warning: Child Abuse And Murder Is Mentioned

Charlie is walking around heaven when she notices Adam with a group of kids watching a movie on-screen (The Land Before Time) with a small girl smiling besides him. Charlie was shocked that such a crass person like Adam was acting so soft around kids.

Charlie (puzzled): Adam? What are you doing here?

Adam (turned in her direction): What do you think I'm doing? I'm watching a movie, Princess.

Charlie (still puzzled): I mean this is a side of you I've never seen before.

Adam got up from his seat and waved with a smile to the kids and especially the young girl, then went to talk with Charlie more privately.

Adam (smugly smiling): Oh, it's because you think I'm the big meanie that is about subverting your ideas to save the sinners from being slaughtered like the little turds they are.

Charlie (frowned): There is the Adam I know.

Adam (huffed): Well, then princess do you see that little girl over there.

He pointed to the same little girl he was sitting with still watching the movie with the rest of the kids.

Adam: That little girl voiced one of the characters in that movie, Ducky.

Charlie (wide eyed): Ooh, I love that movie and Ducky is my absolute favorite character.

A thought then dawned on her that gave her an uncomfortable realization.

Charlie (nervously twiddling her fingers): Huh, how did she die?

Adam gave her a glare as if he was going to drop one heck of a lecture on her.

Adam (gritted): You want to know what happened to her. She used to be a child actor in the 80's and was even getting into voice acting until her death by her own father's hands.

Charlie's heart stopped as she listened. She then looked at the little girl just happily with the other children as she took in this information.

Adam (continued with fury): She died before getting ever getting to see not only this movie but the other movie she made "All Dogs Go To Heaven". It was all because her bastard of a father was jealous she was becoming the breadwinner for the family and abused her. The coward shot her and their mother after years of threats, set their house on fire, and killed himself.

Adam continued to shake with anger as Charlie remained silence with shock.

Adam (stared angrily at Charlie): Come Extermination that year I did everything in my power to find that son of a bitch and make him seek real justice he escaped from. And here you are thinking people like him just made mistakes and deserve to be up here with his victims.

Charlie rubbed her arm with guilt as she turned her head.

Adam: And her name was Judith Barsi. So, think about her and many others who endured so much in life just to have their tormentors to be sent here and continue traumatizing them more. It can make you think twice about if your goals are really noble.

Adam then went back to the watch the movie with the kids as he left Charlie to dwell on their conversation.

Judith Barsi was a bright and promising young actress whose life was tragically cut short at the tender age of ten. Despite her short life, she made a significant impact on Hollywood, capturing hearts with her talent and charm. However, behind the scenes, Judith was living a life of fear and abuse, which ultimately led to her untimely death.

Judith Eva Barsi was born on June 6, 1978, in Los Angeles, California, to Hungarian immigrants József and Maria Barsi. Judith's talent was evident from a young age, and by the time she was five, she had begun to make her mark in the entertainment industry. Her career took off quickly; she appeared in numerous commercials, television shows, and films. With her expressive eyes, innocent voice, and natural acting ability, Judith became a beloved child star in the 1980s.

One of Judith’s most notable roles was as the voice of Ducky in the animated film The Land Before Time (1988), a role that endeared her to audiences around the world. She also voiced Anne-Marie in All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989), another popular animated film. In addition to her voice acting, Judith appeared in several television series, including Cheers and Growing Pains, and starred in made-for-TV movies such as Fatal Vision (1984).

While Judith's career flourished, her home life was far from ideal. Behind closed doors, she endured severe emotional and physical abuse at the hands of her father, József Barsi. A volatile and controlling man, József’s abusive behavior escalated over the years, fueled by his alcoholism and paranoia. He frequently threatened to kill both Judith and her mother, Maria, if they ever tried to leave him. Maria took steps to protect Judith. She sought help from authorities and even moved out temporarily, but the system ultimately failed them.

József's abusive behavior was well known to friends and neighbors, who often heard shouting and violent outbursts from the Barsi home. Judith herself began showing signs of distress, pulling out her eyelashes and engaging in other behaviors indicative of severe emotional trauma. Her acting coaches and colleagues noticed her increasing anxiety, and at one point, she was taken to a child psychologist who documented the signs of abuse. However, despite these warning signs, no decisive action was taken to remove Judith from the dangerous situation.

On July 25, 1988, József Barsi carried out his threats in a brutal and horrific manner. In the early hours of the morning, he shot and killed Judith while she slept in her bed. He then murdered Maria before taking his own life. The bodies were discovered by authorities after concerned neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
