31.- Do they finish each other’s sentences? Pick up any phrases or habits from each other? Know when the other is hiding something?

When they start dating, I don’t think they’re in phase enough to be that kind of couple that finishes each other’s sentences. Not that they don’t have a good foundation for it, with their shared traumas and experiences, but it can also be a barrier for them. Like they still need time to actually get to know each other, the real them, and they surprise each other a lot (and they love it). We got a little glimpse in s2 at them trying to become friends (im thinking 2x04) and Alex kept being surprised by Michael. And he looked thrilled by it, they want to be on the same wavelength. And after living together for a while, they start to witness each other in every possible life situation, they are less on their guards too, and then they might begin to be gross and know what the other is thinking all the time better than if they had an actual psychic link. 

But from the start, they know when the other is hiding something. Like even if they don’t know what it is, they pick up on it easily. They always have. I think Alex in particular is impervious to Michael’s bullshit, even if he doesn’t necessarily know what’s wrong and what to do about it, and he might not react in the best way. But he always knows. I think Michael picks up a lot of living-at-home habits from Alex when they move together. Also, he picks up Alex’s tastes in tv/movies because he never really was into it before but Alex wants to watch Buffy together so they watch Buffy cuddled on the couch and he loves it. Alex picks up stuff from Michael too. He learns to sleep-in in the week ends, that kind of things, because if Michael won’t get up before 11 (and he wont) what’s the point. I could go on about things they learn from each other but i think it’s different from picking up a habit :D thank you sm maura <3

Answering only for RnM because otherwise we’d be here alllll day...  I’m a multishipper like woah... thanks for the ask, @jumbled-nonsense ! Ship that you find cute but don’t ship: Hmmm... Kylex.  I think they’re adorable but the chemistry doesn’t do it for me.  Also, what’s the ship name for Greg/Isobel?  I could possibly ship it, but I need more!

Ship that is canon but you don’t ship:  At first I might have said Miluca, but that grew on me a bit and then spite made me start shipping it haaard.  So now? Maybe Forlex.  Not because I can’t ship it, just because I need more of them.  Could also be filed under cute but don’t really ship. 

Ship that you didn’t expect to ship but now do: Echo!  I rarely find the het couples interesting.  So the amount of sweet chemistry between Max and Liz came as a total, welcome surprise.  Also Liz/Cam took me by surprise <3

It was not in my WIP so I added a new part to an existing sentence. There is music in the scene, I just hadn’t named it.

Michael turns his head towards the voice; something about the way it had floated to him on the music gives him goosebumps.
