Just wanted to give my heartfelt farewell to the respected founder of #JUNauto Junichi Tanaka. From the days of skipping class (20 years ago) to goto the school library for dialup modem download #BMI videos of the 10Krpm #JUN #EK4, to one of my favorite videos a few years later of the Hyper Lemon #EVO5 (middle) 4wheel #drifting around the track (this same car ran a mid 55sec lap at #Tsukuba on my 18th birthday 12/12 2002), the cars built and raced by this legendary tuning house have not only been a huge influence, but also partially responsible for the burning passion I have for modifying cars altogether. My first #E36 #M3 Daisy a decade ago was in my own way paying homage to JUN as you all know I love #JDM mixed with European themes. If you haven’t seen the videos mentioned above, I highly recommend hunting them down and enlightening yourself to the Godfather of our motoring journey.
