As Prince of Fillory, a remote mountain country, almost all of Quentin's life has been decided for him--including his upcoming engagement to Lady Alice, the ambitious and capable Countess. Quentin knows she will make a great Queen and, as he's soon to take over as King, he needs someone like her at his side. That's enough, he thinks, as they prepare to host a fundraiser gala in New York City on New Years Eve to raise money for a new hospital, and where Quentin has every intention of proposing.
Eliot is a promoter and event planner for an upscale Manhattan club. When Prince Quentin comes to town with his presumptive fiancee Alice for a New Year’s gala, he isn’t sure what to expect. A chance encounter with a mousy courier named Q definitely isn’t it, though, nor is the realization that Q isn’t who he thinks.
Margo is a designer and stylist for New York's socialites. When she finally gets to meet the future-Princess and it goes about as disastrously as it's possible to go, she's struck by how much she cares what the high-strung blonde thinks about her and is determined to set things right.
As the gala, and Quentin and Alice's engagement, approaches, both Quentin and Alice have choices to make between their commitment to their duty and ambition or their sudden urges to follow their own hearts - and Eliot and Margo must decide if they, too, believe in happy endings.

I just started watching (obsessing over) this show like two weeks ago and yes this exactly is what immediately endeared me to Q. I’m also an anxious sub and he read that way to me basically immediately and. Yeah. It’s a lot.
Thank you for validating me! Q’s non neuro-typical status and the amazing way Jason Ralph plays it immediately drew me to him. And welcome to the fandom and the exquisite suffering!

Thank you!!!!! <3 <3 <3
I had to SCOUR the internet for that. There were a lot of cool toy ones, but I wanted one that was actually a bag, and literally every single website I visited linked back to this one place that WAS OUT OF STOCK, or on ebay for 70 bucks, lol, nope. Finally found this one though and I’m so glad. There’s plenty of space for stuff.
junes-discotheque said: holy shit, that’s awful. i’m so sorry, insurances are the fucking worst. sending your sister good vibes and hopes that the new doctor can get her scheduled quickly.
I feel like one of these days, @junes-discotheque is just gonna start posting all the dumb shit I say in both chat and real life, to prove to all of you that I am actually the most ridiculous human like creature in existence.

*randomly driveby comments* I haven’t done formal caning scenes but i’ve done ‘okay, now we’re gonna do cane marks’ as the cherry on the top of the scene sundae and uh. Most i’ve ever done is five, and my top had to tell me that after because i had no idea. It’s a really, really intense pain and it’s very difficult for me to take, compared to other implements. At one point it sent me flying so hard i nearly threw up. So yeah. uh. Hi there, big fan, have some tmi?
TMI’s just fine. :) I like hearing how different people react to different things because as a writer you can sort of get in the rut of relying on your own experiences. Also, as a person, I’m kinda nosy. :)
Also, wow that sounds kind of scary. In a good way. :)
Title: here’s everything that led me here (but our future still remains unclear)
Chapter: 2/?
Fandom: Baseball RPF/RPS
Author: darthwacha/reyanehokkain (AO3)
Rating: Explicit (there is porn for this in a notebook somewhere, ok??), but this chapter: Teen
Characters/Ships: Bryce Harper, Kolten Wong, Mike Matheny, John Mozeliak, Max Scherzer, Yadier Molina, Adam Wainwright; Bryce Harper/Kolten Wong
Summary: It all starts with one poorly timed paparazzi photo and where it goes from there is anyone’s guess.
Notes: The blame for this existing falls squarely on @junes-discotheque because they are an enabler. But this whole ship was born from our gay nonsense on Discord (my sincere apologies to the Cardinals fandom chat for the gayness that may have spilled over) and then I placed my angst loving hands all over it and this happened. Sorry, not sorry. Title comes from “End of an Era” by Marianas Trench.

It takes Bryce no more than 30 minutes to get from the airport to Kolten’s apartment in West County, which amazes him, because he’s so used to DC and Kolten calling him and bitching that traffic hasn’t moved in what feels like forever.
(Forever to Kolten though is like five minutes, so Bryce isn’t entirely sure he feels too sorry for him.)
And yet, now that Bryce is here in Kolten’s driveway, he can’t find it in him to get up and go inside. He was so confident and sure that this was the right choice when he boarded that plane in DC, but between the phone call and the car ride, he’s lost that sense of confidence. His fingers linger on the keys, while his brain toys with the idea of tossing the car into reverse and hightailing it to hotel somewhere. Give Kolten some space to cool down before they attempt to have the conversation that he knows is coming. But before he can put that plan into motion, there’s a tap on his window.
“Hey, are you planning on sleeping in there or are you going to come inside?”
It’s Kolten.
Running is suddenly no longer an option.
He sighs and fingers come off of the steering wheel, groping around for the button to lower the window so he can talk to his boyfriend without have to yell in the confined space of the car.
“I don’t know.” Bryce says, all of the conflicting emotions starting to churn harder inside of him. “Are you planning on yelling at me some more?” Bryce knows that he’s petty and that he probably should have told Kolten what was going on long before it got to this point, but he didn’t and they’re here now and the last thing he wants is to be yelled at.
Kolten frowns at him and lifts one shoulder in a half-hearted response.
“Probably. Because I am mad at you for not telling me about all of this.” Kolten looks at Bryce’s hands on the keys and sighs. “But it can wait until later. Just come inside already. It’s getting colder and as angry as I am at you, it’s nothing to how much I’ve missed you.”
And that’s what does Bryce in.
He rolls the window back up and turns off the car. He takes a few more seconds to unplug his phone from the charger and the aux cable before finally getting out. Once the door is shut and the car is locked, Bryce actually looks at Kolten and he nearly blows it by laughing.
Kolten is outside in nothing more than a pair of threadbare pj pants, old house slippers, and one of the zip-up hoodies that he had filched one of the times that he had visited Bryce. He’s completely unprepared to stand here in the cold and have the argument that is all but confirmed, so Bryce turns him around and ushers him back towards the door of his building. Kolten, much to Bryce’s relief, goes without a fight.
But once they’re inside and the heat has soaked into Kolten’s skin enough that he’s lost his blue tinge, he spins on his feet and launches himself face first into Bryce’s arms, nearly toppling the taller man over with the force.
“You really missed me that much?” Bryce asks, a touch of incredulity in his voice.
“Of course you idiot. I always miss you whenever you’re not here.” Kolten responds, squeezing Bryce a little tighter to prove his point.
“You miss me even when you’re mad at me?” Bryce knows that he’s pushing the limits of the issue at hand, but he hopes that Kolten can here the teasing in his voice and not get too upset at him. Kolten sighs though before he responds.
“Yes, even when I’m mad at you.” Bryce smiles, or attempts to, but he’s surprised by a yawn that bubbles up from him. Kolten says nothing, just unwraps himself from around Bryce and starts tugging him towards the bedroom.
Bryce goes without a fight, all of the exhaustion from the day catching up to him at once. He thinks that once he gets some sleep, he’ll be ready to talk to Kolten about everything. He hits the pillow on his side of Kolten’s bed and he’s out almost in an instant, with the last thing he remembers being Kolten saying “I love you” before he sinks into blissful unconsciousness.
