HEY IM DOING IT. I was planning on putting out some updates before making this like. a real thing, but. i mean. Now or never. Juniorjago now has a Ko-Fi(and lets be real, has for like a year now, and has been linked to from the blogs sidebar despite not having member options till now) and there's MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS! ooooo fancy

these membership tiers allow you to spend a buck or two every month and get access to WIPS, Sketches, rejected ideas/art, future plans, future updates early, spoilery info, etc. It also just. Lets you support me monetarily if you somehow have extra cash in this world and want this blog to update more.

I'm hoping to update soonish-like. in the next month or two-so uh. see you then i guess!

collected the outfits ive actively designed for morro(not just slapped together without planning)

first one is his canon gi, colour corrected,

that i only ended up using in his initial arrival pages of @juniorjago oops lol. Ill probably use it for flashback stuff to morros babby years

second one is what i designed for him to wear in the post where he apologises to the kids for being a shit

third one is a failed design(yay!) where it was meant to be just. some clothes he threw on, but it looked too. formal? worky? so sCREW IT. he gets a new gi at some point in juniorjago! The fourth is what i ended up going with for this next arc that will EVENTUALLY come about.

Juniorjago is an AU(Alternate Universe) where the ninja are all children under the age of ten, and a young Wu is looking after them. This au does not follow the plot of the tv show or movie or any games. It is it’s own thing.

Asks are answered in character, and in between some asks are little “plot points” that expand the audience’s knowledge, or bring in more characters.

Why haven't you posted anything for so long? Please.

(ooc post just to keep people informed:

Juniorjago is a side project that i rarely get time or motivation for-alot of this comes from my lack of interest in the newer ninjago seasons(the writers constantly alienate og fans unfortunately), and not being apart of any kind of early series ninjago community(not to mention the discord server i WAS part of had a uh. interesting crash out and shut down earlier this year) lol

it also doesnt help that tumblr users as a whole gets worse and worse at actually reblogging stuff they like, commenting, tagging, yknow, actually getting things around to people. This has tanked alot of creatives interest in doing....anything really.

the biggest issue though(and the one that always pops up) is honestly that i have payments on things i have to make(im an adult ew), and so juniorjago gets pushed to the back of my list of things to work on for months at a time so i can do commission work on a pet site i'm a part of. It sucks, and i'm hoping to fix this in the coming months, but like. really depends on some factors i have no control over.

this isnt to say the blog is dead or that i've lost interest in it! I have a lot of plans and fun things i wanna draw, stories and character beats i REALLY REALLY wanna get to, but untill i dont have to worry about money all the time updates are gonna be REALLY slow ;u;

For anyone wondering, this blog is run by 1 person; @kaiartz, and i generally post updates and wips over on my ninjago sideblog @ninjagocrohw at least untill i can get a ko-fi or a patreon off the ground(would people even. be into that? x'D). Please go follow at least ninjagocrohw if you want more frequent looks into juniorjagos backend, sketches, issues that are keeping me from working on it, etc.

i love you guys, and i hope i can update soon! ♥)

Early juniorjago posts is a definite, but i wanna know what people might be interested in on top of that.

This would start at 1 USD a month and i wont be actively using it untill im back posting semi regularly <3 you do not have to be someone with money to answer this poll xD feel free to leave responses or reblogs of ideas or whatever else

ive shared some of this stuff before on here or my art blog but like. getting a bit of money from juniorjago would help me update it more regularly as i wouldnt have to keep opening comm slots and burning myself out from drawing anything.
