a/n: hello my beloved followers sorry about my very long hiatus 🧡 life has been nuts lately but i hope yall enjoy this short one
minjae:
very gently. his kisses would be simple pecks most of the time. he aims for your cheeks and forehead with most if his pecks, but if you kiss him passionately back, there is absolutely no stopping him. expect a romantic night in the bedroom with LOTS of tongue locking.
junmin:
another gentle one. his lips would lock with yours for a few seconds before he pulls away, leaving you always wanting more. (which is exactly what he wants btw) so, when you lean back into him, he might just start biting on your lip a bit ;)
sumin:
certified freak as we all know. his kisses would start light like junmin’s to leave you craving for more. he would pull away with a smirk on his face as you pouted, leaning in again. when he finally had you on his lap, he would slip his tongue into your mouth, leading to a long makeout session 😮💨
jinsik:
angel boy loves to take it slow. he gently holds your face as he leans in and pecks your mouth carefully. he would always take the lead, treating you as if you were made of porcelain. he loves to just peck you at any hour of the day, reminding you how much he loves you in little ways.
hyunwoo:
certified gentleman. he almost always asks if he can kiss you before he does just to see your face turn red. his hand would gently hold your jaw as he kissed you, smiling a bit into the kiss. he would always stare at you right after to see the look on your face, and ends up kissing you at least 5 more times.
junghoon:
he can be gentle, can be aggressive. it all depends on his mood! if he is feeling rather romantic, he would gently kiss your cheek or forehead. if he is rather needy, he would firmly grasp your waist and kiss you passionately, inserting it into your mouth immediately. your tongues would fight for dominance as he led you to the bedroom…
seeun:
as to (not) be expected, i think he is always a gentle kisser. he wants his kisses to have an impact on you, leaving you sad when he pulls away. (he lowkey manipulative in that way but it always works) when he sees how sad you get, he would ask if you wanted more kisses before teasing your lips with his tongue.
hunter:
he knows everything about hand placement, so you knew he wanted a kiss when his hand would snake around your waist. he would be a pecker in public but if you were alone, his freak ass would try and get his tongue touching yours IMMEDIATELY. and that almost always leads to other things…
yujun:
ALWAYS asks if he can kiss you, because he wants to make sure it’s okay with you. once he got your consent, he would carefully lean over to you and peck your lips a few times. but if he wants more, he will grab your jaw and take what he wants ;)
yechan:
loves kissing you on your neck in public to get you riled up. otherwise, his kisses leave a lingering effect. his lips always leave you craving for more and he knows that. would give you longer kisses before pulling away, leaving you to whine. and if he is feeling nice he might just give you what you want.
〉i love you.
― how they say "i love you" for the first time.
〉ind. xikers/reader、wc1.5k、 fluff、 established relationships、 mentioned alcohol/intoxication、 suggestive moment mentioned in yujun's
⟢ minjae wants it to be special. he plans everything down to the minute. when, where, how you're feeling, how he's feeling, what people are around, everything ― only to completely scrap it and blurt out during a deep talk when you both get drunk with your friends. it's impulsive, obviously his try at keeping an awkward silence away (though you didn't think of it as such), and much louder than he expected, but he doesn't back out. he knew, subconsciously or otherwise, that it was going to happen this way instead, and he was grateful for the excuse of alcohol for if you react badly. you don't, and you manage to pull him into another conversation about it after you're both sober and alone.
⟢ junmin lets it come as it does. he's a little worried it's early, or that you don't quite feel the same, but he doesn't want to stress himself out over never knowing where you both stand in this. it slips out after a good date; a night on the town, a bit of drinking, good food, dancing ― wherever the night pulled, you both followed until you were joking about hours before at your front door. there'd been less of a plan than either of you expected. nothing to insinuate him staying the night or coming in to continue, just a good end to a night you were both sure to remember well, and the words come out as though he'd said them millions of times before; "goodnight, i love you, i'll message you when i get home."
and you respond like you've heard it all the same, like it's habit. "stay safe, i love you too, sleep well when you do."
⟢ sumin wants it to come as it does. he wants to be so aware of himself and so open with you that you don't even question whether or not he means it, but he's so in his head about he doesn't even get the words out before you. he planned your birthday dinner, invited all your friends and the family you're close with, picked the restaurant you loved so much, and was shocked when you thanked him midway through ― leaning gently into him in the center of the booth, guests drowning out the words just above a whisper, just for him. it's so natural, so quick, he almost forgets to respond. he brings it up later, wondering how you knew that was the moment to say it ― if you'd stressed about it like him ― only to find out he was just as open as he wanted to be. he may have gotten into his head, but there wasn't a moment when he realised he loved you that you didn't know or believe he did.
⟢ jinsik tries to wait for you to say it first. it's not that he needs the ego boost, or that he only wants to say it when you do, he just wants to be on the same page without embarrassing himself. he makes it a point that no matter how much he feels like he'll burst if he doesn't say anything, he waits for you instead. he may accidentally play hot and cold, stressing out when he realises how long it's been since he knew he loved you, and hurting himself with thoughts of whether or not you feel the same and if he's just waiting for something that won't happen. it bubbles out of his chest one night when you corner him during a cold spell, asking if he really wants to be together or if he's just playing with you, and he feels so guilty for crying but he just can't keep everything locked away after that. it's safe to say you're on the same page, but you check in on each other more after that night, even on little things.
⟢ hyunwoo tells you basically when he realises it himself. he just feels a little more romantic one night, a little clingy and too affectionate, but it only clicks when you smile so sweetly at him in your doorway. he just planned to drop you off, but you're both a little intoxicated, a lot in love, and it comes out before he can stop himself ― a little hesitant, maybe a little forceful, but he's not had a moment to himself to think about the consequences of anything. he can barely see your face ― backlit from your hall light ― but the way you pull him into a kiss and invite him to stay the night says more than he needed to understand. he says and hears it over and over, both as he's drifting off and as you're waking him up the next morning, breakfast on the counter and his jacket and shoes hung right next to yours.
⟢ junghoon doesn't realise he has to say it aloud. he'd gotten so used to being able to converse with you through gestures or looks, that it doesn't even cross his mind to say he loves you instead of just squeezing or poking you three times. it's safe to say that when those words DO leave his mouth, he's confused by how you melt into him. hadn't you known? had he misread your squeezes back? millions of questions flood his mind, going a trillion km a second, until you respond in kind and suddenly he blanks. he realises how different it is hearing it aloud, how reassuring and heartwarming the words sound in your voice — even during something as mundane as cuddling up together on the couch watching a drama. he can only assume that that's why you melted, that you too realised how nice it sounds coming from him, and he makes a mental note to say it more often.
⟢ seeun doesn't exactly say he loves you, and it tends to get him into trouble. he doesn't realise when he starts treating you more like a friend instead of someone he has a crush on, or when he stops being so flustered and giddy when you come around, but he does know it has nothing to do with losing feelings for you. you've finally just... solidified your place in his life, and he's gotten used to you being beside him. it genuinely takes him aback when you confront him about it — borderline crying, thinking he's going to leave you any day now — and he has to take a few breaths to realise how his actions have come across. to you, he's treating you like one of the guys; like a friend instead of a partner. but to him, he's been treating you like he treats everyone in his life that he loves; like a constant.
⟢ yujun says it quick, almost immaturely and worryingly so, but don't get him wrong — he's known that he loves you, not a maybe or a kinda-sorta. he's not the type of guy who would get into a relationship with someone he just "likes," there has to be substance, so you probably went on more than the average amount of dates before he asked to be official. he wanted to be sure, and now that he is you'll hear it every chance he gets. when you leave, when he leaves, when you're brushing your teeth, between kisses or thrusts, when you look him in the eyes, or even when you just breathe in his general direction. it genuinely might start to get annoying, but he'll get to where he knows you know and he'll save it for when he wants to be affectionate or when you're saying goodbye/goodnight.
⟢ hunter wants you to say it first. he's well aware of how he feels and knows he's good about showing such, but he can't read your mind and doesn't want to pressure you into saying it back if you're not ready. he and yujun are the same in this — that they won't be official until they know they love you — but hunter wants to know you're on the same page before he spills his heart aloud. he's patient, consistent with showing his love, and moves entirely at your pace — but until you say it, there's a little fly in his ear asking if you're just going through the motions. he never pays it any mind, chalking it up to insecurity or the general anxiety of a new relationship, but it's squashed for good when you kiss his cheek and he parrots a "bye, I love you" as you both start your day.
⟢ yechan is nothing if not a yapper, especially with the people he loves, but it takes more than a while for him to actually say anything. not because he doesn't know, or because he thinks you don't, there's just... no need? he could fill your conversations with words he could say all day long, but he's adamant that they're just words until you do something about them. he says them to his friends daily, jinsik hears it 100 times an hour, but the only person who gets an "I love you" through his actions alone is you. you're someone he wants to keep around, and his actions reflect that like a diamond. the first and only time he says it verbally is over the phone — when he can't physically show that he loves you. you may not hear it face to face unless you say something, but even then it'll be paired with a kiss.
warnings: reader is a year older in minjae's and jinsik's, kissing in all of them, i think that's it?
a/n: this was so cute omg i loved writing it, part2 is coming!
KIM MINJAE
Laughter and the sound of children’s excitement filled the air as you walked hand-in-hand with Minjae, your boyfriend of a few months. The two of you had decided to spend the day at the amusement park, enjoying the thrill of roller coasters and the sweet treats sold at every corner.
You had worn black jeans, a leather jacket, and combat boots carefully for the day. You wanted to project a fierce image. The truth was, though, that you were naturally cute. Your big, expressive eyes, soft features, and how you tended to get excited about small things made it hard for people to take your “tough girl” act seriously.
Minjae, walking beside you, was a year younger, but there were moments when he felt like the older one. He found your attempt to be fierce endearing, especially because your true nature always came through, no matter how hard you tried to hide it. And honestly, he loved it. But you hated being called cute, and Minjae knew this—though that didn’t stop him from teasing you about it.
The two of you approached the entrance to a towering roller coaster that twisted and turned in all directions. Your eyes widened slightly as you looked up at it, a small part of you feeling nervous despite your best efforts to appear cool.
Minjae noticed, of course. He always noticed. “Nervous?” he asked, a playful smile tugging at his lips.
You shook your head. “No way. I love this stuff,” you said, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.
Minjae chuckled, a sound that made your heart skip a beat. “You’re so cute when you’re trying to act tough.”
Your reaction was immediate. You stopped in your tracks and turned to face him, a small pout forming on your lips. “Stop calling me cute,” you demanded, your voice filled with mock irritation.
Minjae’s eyes sparkled with amusement as he looked at you. “But you are cute. Look at you, pouting like that. How can I not call you cute?”
You crossed your arms over your chest, trying to glare at him but failing miserably. “I’m not cute. I’m fierce.”
“Oh, really?” he said, leaning in closer. His tone was teasing, and you could see he was having too much fun with this. “Prove it, then. Let’s see how ‘fierce’ you are on this ride.”
“I will!” you shot back, but your voice faltered slightly as you glanced back up at the roller coaster. It was much taller than you’d remembered.
Minjae chuckled again, and before you could protest further, he took your hand and led you towards the entrance. “Come on, let’s go, baby.”
You tried to keep your cool as you got strapped into the roller coaster, but the nerves were starting to creep in. The ride started with a slow ascent, the click-clack of the chain pulling the cars up the steep track echoing in your ears. You could feel your heart pounding in your chest as you looked over at Minjae. He was watching you with that same amused expression.
“You’re gonna scream, aren’t you?” he asked, clearly enjoying this way too much.
“No,” you insisted, though you weren’t so sure anymore. “I’m not.”
The coaster reached the top, and for a brief moment, everything was still. The park spread out below, people tiny like ants. Then, with a sudden rush, the ride plummeted downward. Your breath caught in your throat, and before you knew it, you were screaming—loudly. The coaster twisted and turned, throwing you from side to side, your hands gripping the safety bar with all your might.
When the ride finally slowed and came to a stop, you were breathless. Your hair was a mess, and you could feel your cheeks burning. You looked over at Minjae, who was grinning from ear to ear.
“You screamed,” he pointed out, still holding your hand as you both exited the ride.
“Shut up,” you muttered, embarrassed. “That ride was intense.”
Minjae just laughed, pulling you close as you walked away from the roller coaster. “You know, you’re even cuter when you’re flustered.”
You glared up at him, your cheeks still warm. “I told you to stop calling me cute.”
“Then stop being cute,” he replied easily, his voice full of affection.
“I’m not cute!” you insisted, stomping your foot slightly—a move that only made Minjae laugh harder.
“You keep telling yourself that,” he said, leaning down so his face was just inches from yours. “But no matter what you say, I think you’re adorable. And I’m not going to stop saying it.”
You opened your mouth to protest again, but before you could, Minjae closed the gap between you, pressing his lips to yours in a soft, lingering kiss. Your heart fluttered in your chest as you kissed him back, momentarily forgetting all about your earlier annoyance. When he pulled back, his eyes were twinkling with that familiar mischief.
“You can be fierce and cute, you know,” he said softly, brushing a strand of hair out of your face.
You couldn’t help but smile, despite yourself. “Maybe,” you admitted, feeling your resolve weaken in the warmth of his gaze.
Minjae grinned, kissing you on the forehead this time. “That’s my girl.”
PARK JUNMIN
The cafe was cozy, with warm lighting and the gentle chatter of other customers providing a comforting background. You sat across from Junmin, your boyfriend of nearly six months, recounting an amusing story from earlier that day.
You had dressed in light pastel colors, a soft lavender blouse paired with a cream skirt that swished just above your knees. A delicate bow sat perched in your hair, holding back a few stray strands that would otherwise fall into your eyes. The outfit was simple yet cute, though you preferred not to think of it that way. You hated being called cute—something Junmin knew all too well—but it was hard to deny that the look suited you perfectly.
Junmin sat with his chin propped on his hand, his gaze fixed on you. He was trying to listen, really, but the way the sunlight filtered through the window and caught the soft colors of your outfit, the way your eyes sparkled as you animatedly told your story—it was all too much. His thoughts began to drift, and he found himself more focused on the way your lips moved, the slight tilt of your head, and the way you absentmindedly played with the ends of your hair as you spoke.
“And then, I realized I had walked into the wrong room! It was so embarrassing, but everyone just laughed it off…” you were saying. But Junmin wasn’t hearing a word. His mind was entirely occupied with how adorable you looked, with that bow in your hair and the way you were dressed so sweetly. Before he could stop himself, the thought slipped out.
“You’re so cute,” he said, almost dreamily.
You paused mid-sentence, blinking in surprise. “What?”
Junmin snapped out of his trance, realizing what he had just said. But it was too late to take it back. “Uh, I mean, you look really cute today,” he clarified, though he knew it wasn’t going to help.
You frowned, a familiar mix of frustration and embarrassment rising in your chest. “Junmin, I told you, I don’t like being called cute.”
He held up his hands in mock surrender, trying to suppress a smile. “I know, I know. But you really are cute, especially with that bow in your hair. It’s impossible not to think so.”
You pouted slightly, crossing your arms over your chest. “I’m not cute. I’m just…me.”
“That’s what makes you cute,” Junmin said with a soft chuckle, leaning forward. “The way you get all flustered when I call you cute, the way you dress, the way you smile—it’s all adorable.”
You tried to maintain your frown, but it was difficult with the way he was looking at you. His eyes were so warm and full of affection that it made your heart melt just a little. You opened your mouth to argue, to insist that you weren’t cute, but the words got caught in your throat. Instead, you felt your cheeks heat up, and you quickly looked down at your coffee cup, stirring it absently.
Junmin watched you, completely enamored by your reaction. “You can deny it all you want,” he said softly, reaching across the table to take your hand in his. “But you’re cute, and I love every bit of it.”
You glanced up at him through your lashes, the corners of your lips twitching as you tried not to smile. “You’re impossible, you know that?”
“And you’re irresistible,” he replied with a grin, giving your hand a gentle squeeze. “So, are you going to keep arguing, or are you going to admit that you’re cute?”
You shook your head, a small laugh escaping despite yourself. “I’m not going to admit it because it’s not true.”
Junmin leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. “You might not think so, but every time you pout like that, I just want to kiss you.”
Your breath hitched slightly at his words, and before you could respond, he closed the distance between you, pressing his lips to yours in a soft, lingering kiss. The world around you seemed to fade away, the warmth of his touch and the sweetness of the kiss making your heart flutter.
When he pulled back, Junmin looked at you with that same adoring expression, his thumb brushing lightly over your knuckles, as a content smile spread on his face. “See? Adorable,” he murmured.
You rolled your eyes playfully, but the smile on your face was undeniable now. “Fine, maybe just a little bit,” you admitted, though your tone was teasing.
Junmin laughed softly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “I’ll take that as a win.”
CHOI SUMIN
You and Sumin had planned to study together, a quiet, productive evening to prepare for the upcoming exams. Textbooks and notebooks were spread out on his desk, but the focus had already shifted from the study materials to something else entirely.
You were sitting cross-legged on his bed, trying to concentrate on the notes in front of you. You had chosen your outfit carefully—a fitted top and jeans that you hoped would give you a more mature vibe. But no matter what you wore, your natural cuteness always seemed to shine through. Your big, expressive eyes, soft features, and the way you couldn’t help but act a little shy around Sumin all contributed to the aura of sweetness that surrounded you.
And Sumin noticed. He always noticed. You’d been dating for a few months now, and while he admired your efforts to appear more grown-up, he found your natural state absolutely irresistible. The way you pouted when something confused you, the way your cheeks flushed when you got flustered—it drove him crazy. He loved to tease you about it, even if he knew it embarrassed you.
Today was no different. As you sat there, nibbling on the end of your pencil and trying to focus on your notes, Sumin couldn’t take his eyes off you. You had tied your hair back in a loose ponytail, but a few strands had escaped, framing your face in a way that made you look even more adorable. He leaned back in his chair, his textbook forgotten, and just watched you, a soft smile playing on his lips.
You were so engrossed in your studying that you didn’t notice his gaze at first. But when you finally looked up, you caught him staring. “What?” you asked, blinking in confusion.
Sumin grinned, shaking his head slightly. “Nothing,” he said, though the mischief in his eyes told you otherwise.
You frowned, feeling a familiar flush creep up your neck. “Why are you staring at me like that?”
“Like what?” he asked, playing innocent.
“Like…” You struggled to find the words. “Like I’m some kind of cute animal or something.”
Sumin chuckled softly, pushing away from his desk and walking over to the bed. He sat down beside you, close enough that you could feel the warmth of his body next to yours. “I can’t help it,” he admitted, reaching out to gently brush a stray hair from your face. “You’re just so cute.”
You groaned, dropping your pencil onto the bedspread. “I’m not cute, Sumin. I'm not trying to.”
He tilted his head, pretending to consider your words. “Hmm, I see what you’re going for,” he said, his tone teasing. “But honestly, I think you’re at your most attractive when you’re just being you. And that happens to be really, really fucking cute.”
You sighed, rolling your eyes even as your heart fluttered at his words. “I hate you.”
As a response, he simply closed the distance between you, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to your forehead. You tried to hold on to your frustration, but it melted away almost instantly under his gentle touch.
“Susu,” you murmured, your voice a mix of exasperation and affection.
He pulled back slightly, just enough to look into your eyes. “What?” he asked, his tone light but filled with adoration. “I’m just appreciating how lucky I am to have a girlfriend as cute as you.”
You huffed, crossing your arms over your chest. “You’re so whipped,” you accused, though the smile tugging at the corners of your mouth betrayed your attempt to sound stern.
Sumin didn’t even try to deny it. “Totally whipped,” he agreed easily, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. “And I don’t mind one bit.”
You shook your head, but you couldn’t stop the warmth spreading through your chest. Sumin always had this effect on you—he made you feel cherished, adored, even when he was teasing you. Especially when he was teasing you.
Before you could protest further, Sumin gently pushed you back onto the bed, hovering over you with that same mischievous grin. You looked up at him, your heart pounding in your chest, a mix of excitement and anticipation flooding through you.
“Sumin, what are you—” you started, but he cut you off with a kiss, this one soft and sweet against your lips.
He pulled back just enough to speak, his voice barely above a whisper. “You’re too adorable for your own good, you know that?”
You opened your mouth to argue, but all that came out was a soft laugh as he began peppering your face with kisses. First your forehead, then your cheeks, your nose, and finally back to your lips.
“Sumin!” you squealed between giggles, trying to squirm away, but he just laughed along with you, his arms caging you in as he continued his assault of kisses.
“I can’t help it,” he said between kisses. “You’re just too cute, and I’m completely whipped for you, baby.”
By the time he finally stopped, you were both breathless, your faces inches apart. You stared up at him, your chest rising and falling as you tried to catch your breath. The teasing had stopped, replaced by a warm, tender expression in his eyes.
“You know,” you said softly, reaching up to cup his cheek, “as much as I hate being called cute… I don’t mind it so much when it’s you.”
Sumin’s smile softened, and he leaned down to press one last, lingering kiss to your lips. “I’m glad to hear that,” he whispered against your lips. “Because I’m never going to stop thinking it.”
HAM JINSIK
You were curled up on Jinsik's living room couch, reading your book, while Jinsik sat across from you, scrolling through his phone. It was one of those lazy afternoons where neither of you had any pressing plans, so you had decided to spend it together, enjoying each other's company.
Jinsik, your boyfriend of nearly six months, was seated on the opposite end of the couch, his legs stretched out, casually leaning against the armrest. Every now and then, you caught yourself stealing glances at him. He was effortlessly handsome. Sometimes, you had to remind yourself that he was real, that this gorgeous guy was actually your boyfriend.
What you didn’t know was that Jinsik often felt the same way about you. Despite your attempts to appear mature and sophisticated, he found you irresistibly cute. Your big, expressive eyes, the way you unconsciously pouted when you were lost in thought, and the soft, feminine way you carried yourself—it all drove him crazy. And as much as he loved when you tried to play the role of the confident, mature girlfriend, he adored the cute side of you even more.
Today, though, Jinsik was in a particularly playful mood. The last few days had been busy for both of you, and now that you finally had some time alone together, he couldn’t resist the urge to tease you. He had been waiting for the right moment, and as you sighed softly, flipping another page of your book, he decided that moment had arrived.
“Hey,” he called out, his tone light and teasing.
You looked up, raising an eyebrow. “What?”
“You know,” he began, setting his phone down and leaning forward slightly, “you’re really cute when you’re focused like that.”
You rolled your eyes, closing the book and setting it on the coffee table. “Jinsik, we’ve been over this. You’re the cute one in this relationship. You’re younger, remember? So, by default, that makes you the cute one.”
Jinsik grinned, but instead of backing down like he usually did, he decided to push a little further. “Maybe I’m cute,” he agreed, “but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re cute too.”
You shook your head, trying to maintain your composure. “Nope. I’m older, so I’m supposed to be mature and sophisticated, not cute.”
“But you are cute,” he insisted, scooting closer to you on the couch. “Like, ridiculously cute. It’s honestly a little unfair.”
You felt your cheeks heat up, but you refused to give in. “Babe, seriously. You’re not going to win this one. I’m not cute.”
He chuckled, clearly enjoying this more than he should. “Oh, I’m definitely gonna win this one,” he said confidently, reaching out to gently poke your side. “You know, the more you deny it, the cuter you look.”
You tried to bat his hand away, but he was quick, dodging your attempt and poking you again, this time on the other side. “Stop that!” you protested, squirming slightly.
“Admit it,” he said, his grin widening. “Admit that you’re cute.”
“No!” you insisted, though your voice was starting to waver as you tried not to laugh.
Jinsik, now fully committed to his playful teasing, reached over and gently grabbed your wrists, holding them above your head as he leaned in close, his face just inches from yours. “Come on,” he coaxed, his voice dropping to a soft, playful whisper. “Just say it. Just once.”
You stared up at him, your heart pounding in your chest. He was so close, you could feel the warmth of his breath against your skin. “You’re being ridiculous,” you said, trying to sound stern, but the proximity was making it hard to focus.
“Maybe,” he admitted with a soft laugh, “but you’re still cute.”
You bit your lip, trying to suppress a smile. He was so persistent, so annoyingly charming, that it was impossible not to feel your resolve slipping. But you were determined not to cave. “You’re not going to make me say it,” you declared, though your voice lacked the conviction you were aiming for.
Jinsik’s eyes sparkled with mischief as he leaned in even closer, his lips now almost brushing against yours. “Are you sure about that?” he asked, his voice low and teasing.
Your breath hitched, and for a moment, you couldn’t think of anything to say. All you could focus on was how close he was, how his playful grin made your heart race even faster. He was irresistible, and he knew it. Before you could muster a reply, he tilted his head slightly and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to your cheek.
Your resolve crumbled entirely. “Okay, fine!” you finally blurted out, your voice breathless. “Maybe I’m a little cute, but just a little.”
Jinsik’s grin widened in triumph. “I knew it,” he said, releasing your wrists and letting his hands slide down to cup your face gently. “And for the record, you’re a lot cute, not just a little.”
You huffed in mock annoyance, but the smile on your face gave you away. “You’re terrible,” you muttered, though there was no real heat in your words.
“And you’re adorable,” he replied, his voice softening as he leaned in to close the distance between you. “And now that we’ve established that…”
Before you could respond, Jinsik kissed you, his lips capturing yours in a slow, tender kiss that made your heart flutter. His hands slipped from your face to your waist, pulling you closer until there was no space left between you. You melted into the kiss, your arms wrapping around his neck as you kissed him back with equal fervor.
When he finally pulled back, just enough to look into your eyes, he was smiling that same playful, yet affectionate smile that always made your heart skip a beat. “You know,” he murmured, brushing his thumb gently across your cheek, “I love that you’re both cute and mature. It’s one of the many reasons why I’m crazy about you.”
CHOI HYUNWOO
The crisp autumn air was filled with laughter and distant shrieks as you and Hyunwoo walked through the bustling Halloween festival. The event was alive with the energy of costumed people, flickering jack-o'-lanterns, and spooky decorations adorning every corner. The centerpiece of the night was the haunted house—an old, creaky mansion.
You had insisted on going, determined to prove to yourself (and to Hyunwoo) that you could handle it. You wanted to appear fearless, confident, and maybe even a bit daring. But as you stood outside the haunted house, staring up at the looming, ominous structure, you couldn’t deny the nervous flutter in your stomach. Hyunwoo, ever observant, noticed the slight tremble in your hands as your jacket.
Hyunwoo, your boyfriend of several months, was handsome, undeniably so, with an air of arrogance that he wore like a second skin. But despite his teasing and his playful arrogance, you knew he cared for you deeply. Tonight, though, he seemed especially entertained by your attempts to appear brave.
“You’re not scared, are you?” Hyunwoo asked, a teasing smile tugging at his lips as he noticed the way you kept glancing at the entrance of the haunted house.
“Of course not,” you replied quickly, perhaps a bit too quickly. You straightened your back and tried to keep your voice steady. “It’s just a haunted house. How bad can it be?”
Hyunwoo raised an eyebrow, his smile growing. “Really? Because you look a little pale. You sure you’re not going to scream and cling to me at the first jump scare?”
You shot him a glare, trying to ignore the warmth creeping up your cheeks. “I won’t. I’m going to be fine.”
He chuckled, leaning down slightly to meet your eyes. “We’ll see about that,” he said, his tone playful. “But I’m warning you now, if you do get scared and grab onto me, I won’t let you forget it.”
With that, he took your hand—his touch warm and reassuring, despite his teasing words—and led you towards the entrance. The creaky door groaned as it opened, revealing a dark, narrow hallway lined with flickering candles and eerie decorations. You swallowed hard, steeling yourself as you stepped inside, with Hyunwoo right beside you.
The haunted house was immediately unsettling. The sound of distant whispers, the creaking floorboards beneath your feet, and the occasional flicker of shadowy figures darting in and out of view all combined to create an atmosphere of pure tension. You tried to maintain your composure, but every nerve in your body was on high alert.
It didn’t take long for the first scare to happen. A ghostly figure suddenly lunged out from a hidden corner, letting out a bone-chilling wail. Without thinking, you let out a startled yelp and instinctively grabbed onto Hyunwoo’s arm, clinging to him tightly. Your heart was pounding in your chest, and you could feel the adrenaline surging through your veins.
Hyunwoo burst out laughing, clearly amused by your reaction. “Not scared, huh?” he teased, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you closer. “You’re practically shaking, babe.”
You tried to regain your composure, but the haunted house wasn’t giving you a break. More scares came—creepy dolls, sudden loud noises, and eerie figures that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Each time, you found yourself clinging to Hyunwoo, who seemed to be enjoying this far more than he should.
“Woo, stop laughing,” you hissed after a particularly loud scream escaped your lips. “This isn’t funny!”
“It is,” he replied, his voice dripping with amusement. “This is hilarious. You’re so cute when you’re scared.”
You groaned, trying to push away from him, but he kept you close, his grip firm yet comforting. “I’m not cute,” you insisted, though your voice trembled slightly. “I’m just… I’m just startled, that’s all.”
“Sure, sure,” he said, his tone clearly not convinced. “But I gotta say, this is the best part of the night. I should take you to haunted houses more often.”
You would have retorted, but another scare had you burying your face against his chest, your hands gripping his jacket tightly. Hyunwoo’s laughter softened as he held you closer, rubbing your back gently. “Hey, it’s okay,” he murmured, his voice still tinged with humor but also genuine affection. “I’m here. I won’t let anything actually get you.”
Despite his teasing, his presence was incredibly reassuring, and you found yourself relaxing just a little. “You’re impossible, you know that?” you mumbled into his chest, your voice muffled.
“And you’re adorable,” he replied, pressing a quick kiss to the top of your head. “But don’t worry, I won’t hold it against you if you admit it.”
You lifted your head to glare at him, though the effect was somewhat ruined by the way you were still holding onto him. “I’m not admitting anything,” you said stubbornly.
He smirked, clearly pleased with himself. “Fine, be stubborn. But you can’t deny that you’re clinging to me right now.”
You were about to argue, but you realized he was right. Your hands were still gripping his jacket, and you were pressed against him as if he was your only lifeline in the haunted house. Sighing, you reluctantly let go, though you stayed close to him as you made your way through the rest of the house.
By the time you finally exited the haunted house, you were visibly shaken. The cold night air hit you like a welcome relief, and you took a deep breath, trying to steady your racing heart. Hyunwoo, ever the observer, noticed the way your hands were trembling slightly, and his expression softened.
“Hey,” he said gently, turning to face you. “You okay, baby?”
You nodded, though your body was still on edge. “Yeah, just… that was more intense than I expected.”
Hyunwoo’s smug demeanor softened as he reached out, taking both of your hands in his. “You did good,” he said, his voice sincere. “I’m proud of you for making it through. Even if you were scared.”
You pouted slightly, still a little embarrassed by how you had reacted. “You’re going to tease me about this forever, aren’t you?”
He chuckled, nodding. “Oh, definitely. But not because you were scared—because you were so cute trying to be brave.”
You opened your mouth to protest, but he cut you off with a soft kiss, his lips warm and reassuring against yours. The kiss was slow and sweet, a stark contrast to the adrenaline-filled moments you’d just experienced. When he pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours, his eyes sparkling with that familiar, playful light.
“You know I love you, right?” he whispered, his voice soft and affectionate.
You smiled, finally letting go of your stubbornness. “Yeah, I know,” you replied, leaning into him. “I love you too, even if you’re a smug, arrogant tease.”
He grinned, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into a tight hug. “Can’t help it,” he murmured into your hair. “Especially when you’re so irresistible.”

warnings: mentions of eating. let me know if i missed anything!
n. i wrote this over a year ago now,, just now posting it. are we shocked? 💀 just a small reminder i don't write for 05 liners & younger!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ REBLOGS ARE APPRECIATED ! ⸜(ˊ▽ˋ*)
⁰⁰¹ : MINJAE.
minjae tries being slick about it (when he's actually very obvious) and adamantly denies he feels any way for you 💀
he'd "accidentally" order an extra plate of food,,
oh no! guess you'll have to join him! it's so convenient that none of his members are available right now!
it's also so convenient he only ever seems to over-order when you're in the office, too. . .
he'll leave you small motivational notes for you to read - in your bag is his favorite place since he's still a bit too nervous to give them to your upfront.
⁰⁰² : JUNMIN.
junmin pines secretly.
NEVER dares to tell his members - they will rat him out immediately (especially sumin 💀).
you might even think he hates you from the constant side-eyes he gives you, but that's actually him internally panicking and checking if you're looking at him. . . he doesn't hate you!! he could never hate you!!
he's always so nervous all the time around you - even once you two became good friends, he'd still find himself stuttering over his words when he speaks with you.
⁰⁰³ : SUMIN.
sumin likes you and will make sure everyone knows ♡
openly flirts. very giggly and teasing if he makes you shy (but will also get shy easily himself).
he feels no shame in being extra stand off-ish in front of you - whether you're laughing with him or at him, he made you laugh!!
that's a #SuminWin in his book!!
help he's the type to pinch you then quickly look away as if it wasn't him 😭
⁰⁰⁴ : JINSIK.
ham jinsik, who doesn't leave your side :((
from the day he met you he deemed you a "safe person"
always invites you out with him, memorizes your drink orders so he can make quick runs in the morning and gift them to you.
he pays close attention to everything you do and makes sure you know just how much he cares 💔
⁰⁰⁵ : HYUNWOO.
hyunwoo tries to make himself known to you in the office, but in the quietest way possible.
even if you're just standing in the same room as him, he'll be sure to show off his gentlemanly qualities - tidying up after his friends, offering waters to everyone he can, spots others when they're stretching. . .
his kindness wasn't fabricated by any means, but it was definitely amplified because of your presence :3
Your hands run through your sweaty hair that had an unpleasant stick to your forehead, breathing heavily as the sun beamed down on you. "Told you we should of brung sunscreen." A grumpy junmin ticks his tongue at jinsik who was sweating profoundly, his shirt sleeves rolled up as he presses his hands onto his knees, bringing him to a kind of kneeling position as he pants.
"Maybe," he tilts his head as he ponders what it would be like a little more cool. Junmin shakes his head, before plopping himself down on the bench that sat itself right beside your bodies. He sighs as his legs were tired of walking. "What are we gonna try next?" You ask, looking around all the tall rides displayed around the amusement park.
"Nothing else, i think we'll just head home." Junmin says, airing himself with his shirt. "Plus its too hot," he adds as jinsik plops himself right beside him, his head falling to the latters shoulders. "Ahh!!" Junmin says in disgust, pushing the boys head off of his shoulder. "You're sweaty!"
Deciding to take a seat since you were the only one still standing, your head falls on junmins shoulder as soon as the boy says his words, his body frozen and clenched together. "Oh okay," jinsik says in disbelief. "I can't lay my head on you, but she can??"
"It's because im better than you," you jokingly tease, sticking your tongue out before wrapping your arm around junmins waist, snuggling into the now red boy. "Can't believe this." Jinsik crosses his arms like a child, scoffing as he turns his head away from the sight of you side hugging junmin.
You only shrug, before looking up at the said boy. " you good?" You mutter, junmins eyes looking down at you. He hums in response, his arm finding your waist as he side hugs you back, a small smile on his face.

The sound of rain clouded your mind, your mood similar to the gloomy dull sky above you. You were known as the star student in your dance institute, ofcourse you were happy, but it became a burden at certain times. And you blame yourself. You always look up to your brother Ham Jinsik who was the institute's ace, wanting to be like him. When you joined you knew you had to be better than anyone else as Jinsiks sister. However with the amount of work piling up on you along with practices made you loose your spark. Unfortunate to you, everyone noticed that change in you, including your not so secret crush Park Junmin. Today was the day you were looking forward for the most, the auditions that would get you a role in one of the upcoming play in The National Theatre of Korea. Something you always dreamt to dance in ever since you were a kid. Only for it all to go downhill. You were known as a ballet prodigy, but that title soon dipped after your teacher said she was disappointed in your rehearsal. You wouldn't get the part you looked forward to for 14 years of your life.
You slowly walked through the bustling streets, rain pouring down on you harshly. You were drenched, your clothes hugging you tightly as water dropped down. Everything felt so surreal. You found yourself sobbing as you dragged yourself, each step as heavy as how your heart felt. Some would say you were being dramatic, but this was your first love. Not to mention how your 10 years of friendshio with your so called friend group ended on the same day too. With them taunting at you untill you stepped out of the building. Turns out they just used you to get closer to your brother and we're the ones that created rumours and hoped for your downfall.
You stopped to wipe your tears, finally looking up. Your vision was blurry but you saw how everyone seemed to be happy. Everyone except you. Students sharing umbrellas, couples joking around and holding hands as they ran to seek shelter.
Your soft sobs turned into louder gasps as you tried to maintain your composture, flashbacks of your teachers looking at you with a crown on their face and your friends asking if you hurt yourself to have done your rehearsals that bad came flooding to your mind. Your head lowered again, you were shaking. Not because of the cold breeze that swept by you. You ran away from that place. The last thing you'd want is for someone to recognise you and tell the whole academy on how you weeped in the middle of the street because your a looser.
Unaware to you, someone was indeed watching you.
Your pace slowed down as you reached a park. Your park. The place you'd come to often. It was your brother who bought you here as a kid, a comfort place you two shared. Usually your brother would be sitting beside your swing, hugging you and telling how everything would be alright. He wasn't. He was away for a short trip with his friends. You were alone and it made you feel miserable.
Too many things clouded your mind and it made you feel more vulnerable and confused. Finally letting your feelings out, your knees dropped to the sandy ground, your head rested onto the seat of the swing you always played in as you cried helplessly. You felt stupid, you danced your entire life, what happened to you? Was it finally the time for you to let go of dance and focus on studies instead? You weren't ready for it, just the thought of leaving the one thing you lived for made your stomach churn in the wrong way.
Your ears perk up at the sound of hurried footsteps, as you lift your head you see junmin running, his head peeking side to side as his eyes searched for you. You wanted to call out to him, but your lisp refused to move. You felt your throat dry up as junmin finally looks at your devastated state.
You've known junmin for a whole year, you two were inseparable. Everytime junmin visited your house jinsik would sulk cuz he went straight to your room instead of looking at his clingy bestfriend.
He carefully stepped forward, reaching his hand out to you for you to hold. You hesitantly grab onto his hand and stand up and before you could even speak he pulled you into a hug. The sound of rain slowly faded as your mind only thought about junmin. His grip around your waist tightened, he brought his one hand upto your hair, caressing gently as he muttered 'its gonna be ok' into your ears. you were instantly reminded of your brother, giving you another reason to bawl your eyes out infront of the guy you so dearly loved. This is not how you wanted him to see you. Embarrassment slapping you in the face hard as you helplessly cried onto his shoulder, rambling about how shitty your day was in spite of preparing well and even going to bed early which you never did.
Junmin chuckles before breaking the hug, he cups your cheeks, his thumbs wiping the tears away. He leans to kiss your eyelids. "Y/n you did amazing, you just misunderstood! Your teacher did take you in, she just said she was disappointed in you and not that she wouldn't take you in? Your literally the best performer this academy has ever had!!" He says, you purse your lips together, still in doubt. You smile at him regardless as you let him walk you home.
You were greeted by your brother at the doorstep, you run to hug him as junmin started at you with a find smile. Oh the things he'd do for you to hug him the same way. jinsik ofcourse scolded his hyung and you on how you two let yourselves get so drenched under the rain as you two snickered at how cute jinsik looked . Your smile immediately turned into a frowned and worried expression as your hands searched your neck for your necklace. It was your parents gift to you when you started your first ever dance class. You turned to look at junmin who was as worried as you. The moment he laid his eyes on your hands that were fidgeting around your neck and pockets he realised it was about the necklace you always loved and showers around to your friends. Jinsik caught the hint too. "It's ok y/n I'm sure you must have left it at the studio, we'll search tomorrow I promise" he says as an attempt to calm you down and send junmin to his dorms before the poor boy catches a cold.
The next morning you wake up to your brother screaming and running to your room as he held your necklace in the air. You squeal along with him as you two jumped on the bed like two happy hamsters. That was until it hit you. How did he find it if he didn't even go to the studio?
"How did you get it?" You questioned to which he smiled and said "Junmin hyung got it for you! He searched the whole night in the rain at the park and found it near one of the bushes of the swing. He said he got a cold though so he wouldn't come to academy- also promise me you wouldn't tell this to him?" You tilt your head to the side in confusion, "tell him what?" You ask.
"Junmin was the one to convince your teacher to let you into the play. Poor boy practically begged to take you in." He said, making you fall for the man even more. Before even saying a word you only out the door, running to his dorms.
You knocked on his door twice, waiting impatiently for junmin and once he opened his door you immediately ran to hug him. The impact causing him to stumble back to a wall. He looked at you worried, "you ok?" He asks with a croaky voice. you look up to face him, you two stared at each other in silence. junmins eyes glanced at your lips, unconsciously inching his face towards yours. Before he could even make a move, you pecked the corner of his lips. not wasting a single minute junmin pulls you and his lips were on yours. he kissed you so sweetly and gently, caressing your cheeks as he shyly smiled between your lips. your hands shifted from his shoulders to his neck, pulling him closer. Junmin swayed you around the dim lit hall, how you wished to never part away. he breaks the kiss, leaving a small peck your cheek, you smile at how red the boy was, his ears were practically on fire. The poor boy couldn't form words so instead he just gazed at your equally shy figure.
The cute moment lasted only for a few minutes as yechan called out to his hyung from their shared room, junmin groaned in response as you giggled. "Looks like you have to leave" you smiled to which junmin nodded, he felt cold as you slipped away from his arms and walked to the door, "thank you by the way, for the necklace. You didn't have to go through so much trouble" you say as you turned back to see junmin rubbing the back of his neck. "I only want to see you smile y/n, the way I smile and millions of butterflies swarm throughout my body and my whole world is filled with flowers just by looking at you, I wish to see you just as happy and contented with me as I do with you" he says, you were fighting the urge to just kiss him again but you didn't want to an annoyed yechan to see his older brother and his best friend being all lovely dovey in the morning, moreover he would bring it up for the rest of your life and tease you on it so you passed on the opportunity. Junmin however held your hand before you could turn to walk away and kissed you one last time before you could leave.
"I love you so much y/n, i always have and I always will."
fluff, smut in sumin’s + seeun’s, yujun’s is suggestive

minjae
is the one who caused you to sit on his lap. he loves you sitting on his lap. he lives for you to sit on his lap and talk or play on your phones.
he loves feeling your weight on his lap as he holds you closely, whispering into your ear to tease you a little bit. enjoys watching your face turn red at his silly compliments :(
sometimes it can escalate to sex if he is feeling particularly needy. but to him, he just wants to hold you closely and be able to spend time with you. would definitely lead to love making if anything. he just loves you so much!
junmin
immediately wraps his arms around you. he kisses your neck gently a few times as he asks about your day. he would play with your hair as well, tangling it in the process.
you would only get slightly mad at him, demanding he brush your hair as you sit on his lap. you grabbed your brush, facing him while sitting on his lap again.
he carefully brushed through your hair, admiring how soft and shiny it was. he would throw out compliments as he did it, blushing as he spoke. this would become a regular thing for you two. just sitting and chatting as he brushed your hair.
sumin
smiles like an idiot. he gets partially hard at the sight but doesn’t want to ruin the moment. you felt his boner poking your thigh, but brushed it off. ‘what’s all this?’ he asked.
you slapped his arm lightly. ‘are you seriously getting hard right now?’ you teased. he shrugged. ‘not my fault there is a sexy beast on top of me right now.’ he winked. you laughed again at him before he slowly undressed you both.
he would hold you oh so closely as he carefully made love to you. the heat of your body on his along with your clenching was enough to drive him absolutely insane :( more in depth love making here !
jinsik
he gasps when your weight lands on him. his arms wrap around you instantaneously. you are facing him, making him lightly peck your lips.
his face heated up as you stared at his features. ‘you are so handsome. do you know that?’ you asked. he froze up at the compliment, trying to hide his face in your neck.
you stroked his hair gently and kissed him as you spat out compliments. he tried to return the favor, but he was too flushed to do so. he just wonders how he could’ve gotten so lucky :(
hyunwoo
grabs onto your waist firmly and just holds you. he absorbs himself in your scent and nearly falls asleep in your warmth.
he would end up laying back, pulling you onto him. he spooned you and yes, you did end up falling asleep together. he snored lightly as he held your waist tightly.
when you woke up, you turned around to face him. you watched his pouty face as he slept soundly before gently kissing his lips to wake him up. he stretched before perking up, kissing you one more time before ordering you two dinner.
junghoon
turns red immediately. tries to act cool about it but cannot contain how shy it makes him. he thinks you are so cute sitting on his lap.
he perks his chin up on your shoulder as he asked you, ‘what’s on that pretty little mind?’ your head fell back onto his shoulder before answering, ‘you. it’s always you.’ he chuckled.
he kissed your cheek a few times as his arms snaked around your waist. he carefully laid you two down, cuddling you as you sat in silence. a comfortable silence. he would occasionally ask a question or say ‘i love you.’ but overall he just loves to hold you :(
seeun
is the one who pulled you onto his lap part 2. he loves loves loves when you do this so his senses are filled with you. your scent and warmth drive him nuts.
he would have you facing him so he could sprinkle your face with kisses. before kissing your lips a few times gently. ‘you’re so perfect.’ he complimented. your face heated up at the words, causing him to kiss your cheeks.
he pulled you impossibly closer, leaving your head in his neck. you took the opportunity to kiss the crook of his neck a few times as he shivered beneath you. ‘need to be in you. please.’ so you laid down and let him have his way with you ;)
hunter
pulls you as close as he possibly can. his hands rest on your stomach as you lean back onto him. he whispers into your ear, ‘you’re so warm.’ you chuckled at the words.
his hands crept underneath your shirt, his large hands covering your stomach. ‘i love you so much, hunter.’ you said. he smiled before whispering into your ear, ‘i love you the most.’
he would hold you like that for as long as he could, just chatting with you about anything. he would only get out his phone to show you a funny video or something, but he wants to focus on you primarily as he holds you.
yujun
his face turns bright red. he wants to wrap his hands around your waist, but is scared to. you watch as his hands hover over your body, forcing him to hold you.
‘wah… you are so warm. please stay like this forever.’ he said. you laughed at him. ‘i am not going anywhere, angel.’ you said before leaning into him fully. he left a kiss on your neck.
his face was hot as he held you, wanting nothing more than to freeze time and forget about everything. ‘love you, yujun.’ you said. he smiled before whispering, ‘love you more.’ he would love having you sitting on his lap, and i would be lying if i said he didn’t pop a boner every time.
yechan
nuzzles into your neck instantly. he holds onto you like you are gonna slip away at any moment. he tries to say something, but his mouth stays shut.
you finally broke the silence, ‘you are so cute, yechan.’ he took his head out of your neck to try and defend himself, but he felt how hot his face was from you. you cupped his face gently as he leaned into your touch fully.
it wouldn’t take long for him to try and convince you to just let him spoon you. so you ended up laying on his bed as he held you. he threw on a movie for the two of you to watch before falling asleep in his arms.
